132 Chapter 131

"Ye..."

Xiu Ye perked up his head from the pile of papers he was reading, something about the sales and the speed of the production needed, to see Tianguo floating in the air in front of him, a sulking pout on her face.

Three years now passed and despite a lot of things having changed, she still looked like the ten year old, pale skinned, dark haired, red pupils and sharp fanged–vampire looking little girl.

Although it had troubled the Deathly Hallow, Xiu Ye and Ryūjin Jakka didn't see any problems of her not aging. Their reason being–that she's already dead for such a long time. Most, if not all, souls are incapable of aging their appearance unless they have the a rare innate ability to age their forms or shapeshift.

Or they become something like a shinigami and they start to have a lifespan like humans but still live much longer than them, with some Shinigami, such as Retsu Unohana, being over 1,000 years old and Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto being at least 2,100 years old.

Honestly, why was she even worried about how she looks?

'I'm both really worried and suspicious about her behavior. I don't know if her child-like body is affecting her psych or she's pretending to be childish.'

Xiu Ye let out a soft sigh and nodded in understanding behind Tianguo's words. "It was a failure again, huh..."

"Yeah. Creating a physical body out of soul power for me to inhabit really is more impossible than I first thought." Tianguo let out a sigh of defeat.

About a month ago, Tianguo suddenly wanted to have a physical human body; one that had her appearance and capable of using some of her deathly hallow powers. For the reason being that she became bored of his inner world filled with only weapons, a sun and her sealed spiritual power formed into two moons. Although it was fun inspecting legendary weapons that can easily destroy armies and fortresses at first, but the charm of it all slowly withered out.

Xiu Ye didn't know what to do so he turned to his first partner, Ryūjin Jakka. But he was the same as well and just had left the entire of issue of Tianguo to him.

So after a few days of constant whining from her, he relented and told her about creating a physical body out of soul power. After all, his power was only limited to weapons currently and he didn't want to go find a little girl that looked almost like Tianguo, kidnap her, and have the more than a hundred thousand years old Deathly Hallow possessed her body.

No. Just, no. There was a lot of lines he'd cross, but he would draw the line at innocent children.

But conjuring a body out of soul power seemed to be much more harder than it seems. Well, it normally shouldn't for a being like Tianguo, whose control over soul power internally and externally was perfect from over many millennia, but the problem lie in her nature as a Deathly Hallow.

Deathly Hallows are beings like Hollows in the Bleach universe; corrupted souls that hasn't crossed over in the afterlife, or if there is an afterlife in this world anymore since the Divine Realm was gone. Actually, wouldn't death be abolished if there wasn't an afterlife–?

Point is, Deathly Hallows are creatures that are unnatural and chaotic. The laws of the planet would innately reject such creatures' energy from mixing along with its own energy. It was already balanced after all. There was no need for a third party to be messing with its equilibrium.

There was a reason why every Deathly Hallows in existence was put in a single location.

Creating a soul power conjured body that is capable of using a Deathly Hallows powers is theoretically impossible.

It was better if Tianguo just remained a spirit for the time being. Especially since he didn't know what she's going to do if she ever has a physical body.

'I could just imagine her going all around the continent with face of innocence as she terrorizes everyone and everything who gets in her way.' A chill went down his spine at the thought.

"You...you just thought badly about me, didn't you?" Tianguo narrowed her eyes at her human partner in suspicion.

"No. I'm just thinking about the next anime I'll release after King's Avatar. Dragon Ball or Naruto? Which is better?"

"...."

"....Go with Dragon Ball, that anime is much more better to watch in this world than Naruto; as it is heavily based on Japanese–you're more likely going to confuse a lot of the audience with it than the former."

Xiu Ye nodded in agreement.

Tianguo sighed. "I'm going into seclusion. I'll be trying different more attempts so don't disturb me, I'm not giving up until it truly is impossible."

"I really don't get why you're so into this...."

"....I just have a feeling that I have to."

Xiu Ye frowned and before he could say anything, Tianguo dissipated back into the far depths of his inner world. Into the corner between his inner world and his true soul.

His soul....

Speaking of his soul, Xiu Ye wasn't able to access all of his previous lives' memories but merely glimpses of them in his dreams. He didn't understand why this was happening, nor did either Tianguo and Ryūjin Jakka; but they hypothesize that his current life's soul was instinctively rejecting the memories from overlapping with his current and previous life on earth.

He was afraid that when he remembers all of his memories in his all of his previous lives, he may no longer be who he is.

But the instinctive fear wasn't permanent. Xiu Ye himself now remembers glimpses of one set of memories of a life different from his time on earth.

A life that had led him to damnation. A life that was connected to several more lifetimes of his, each living different paths but most ended up the same.

The lifetimes of the Archer servant EMIYA, or Shirou Emiya.

At first he thought this was it. The reason behind his inner world–how he has a Reality Marble and his other magecraft skills, but there was more.

Also, what was the limits of the weapons that lay in his inner world? Some of them weren't even native to EMIYA's world.

After all, he did have Yamato. That sword wasn't a Noble Phantasm nor a weapon in EMIYA's world. It was a weapon he was very familiar with, because he saw it used by a game character in his earth life.

He thought, before he had gotten the memories he collected from EMIYA, that he would be able to copy any weapons he'd seen and that included those he'd seen in his previous life through a TV screen. But now that has some of EMIYA's memories, he knew the limit of his Structural Analysis to copy the weapons. He has to see them in person, not through some LED screen, but in real life.

Did one of EMIYA's iterations managed to grasp the Second True Magic, or a certain old magician forced him, to go to the Devil May Cry? The latter is more likely. Xiu Ye shuddered in thinking about that old man. Some of the dreams he had that had the Magician of the Kaleidoscope, mostly ended up being bad. One in particular was the one with a magical stick. Eek.

He'd think that old man would be the mastermind behind his reincarnation but even when he has limited knowledge about magic, he knew that the old man wouldn't have this much power to do so.

Back to the topic. Did that Emiya go through other worlds? Did he see some of the weapons that now embedded in the UBW; which he knew were from some anime, movie and novel, and if so, what kind of other weapons did he managed to copy?

Xiu Ye has had the Reality Marble for more than a decade now, and he only managed to scan about more or less half of the entire field of weapons. There was still a lot of secrets hiding in his inner world.

'Ugh, it's no use thinking about it.' Xiu Ye scrunched his nose in displeasure. Moreover there was other problems as well.

He knew that this wasn't his only previous life, other than his earth life.

He didn't have any evidence, just a gut feeling. An urge that Xiu Ye, Shirou Emiya, and Archer didn't have.

An urge to forge swords; to create the ultimate sword that can cut anything. To obtain all the good in the world. To kill each and everyone who is remotely associated with the Holy Spirit Cult with extreme prejudice.

Xiu Ye groaned, feeling a headache of his previous lives.

He didn't really care much of what or who his previous lives are. As long as they don't take over him and erase his existence.

They're already dead. This is his life now. All of their regrets, their sins, their wishes–he didn't care.

He wasn't them.

"My name is Xiu Ye. The son of two wanted criminals, the adopted son of Mang Tian, cousin of Tang Wulin and Na'er. This. is. my. life." His eyes glowed golden for a moment. He huffed when nothing happened and went back to reading the papers of his company.

Just as he flipped the page, the door to his office opened and a familiar playful voice called out his name.

"Big brother Ye! Let's play!"
