37 Chapter 37: An Anomaly Ten Thousand Years Ago?

Is it possible that someone had reincarnated here as Huo Yuhao but with Gojo Satoru's face and powers? But if he did, then why are things normally the same in this current timeline?

Xiu Ye narrowed his eyes, in deep thought, momentarily ago his expression was of great shock and disbelief but thankfully he was able to reign in his emotions back into casual to avoid any suspicion. He was a citizen of Douluo Continent, he should at least know the image of one of the two greatest soul master gods in history after all.

"Can you excuse me for a second big sister, I need to go to the restroom for a moment." Xiu Ye said with a bashful expression towards Shu Lengwei.

Shu Lengwei smiled understanding and said. "Sure, the restroom is just down that right hallway. I'll be waiting right here, okay little brother?"

Xiu Ye nodded and walked towards the restroom.

Entering the boy's restroom, Xiu Ye scanned the entire room for any occupants with his spiritual power and spotted only one person in one last of the five stalls in the room. The person was a middle aged man with black hair and grey side burns, he was both breathing and sweating hard as he held what seems to be a picture of a loli–

'Okay. I need to wash my eyes with bleach when I get back to the dorm.' Xiu Ye's face turned green and red at what he had disgustingly saw.

Shuddering, he tried to pretend the pervert wasn't there and walked towards the sink.

He grabbed his soul communicator out of his pocket and went to the soulnet to search about something.

Spirit Ice Douluo, Huo Yuhao's History.

Ten thousand years ago, Huo Yuhao, the bastard child of the White Tiger Duke of the Star Luo Empire, who was just an ordinary child, entered Shrek Academy and started his path to being the most unrivaled soul master in his generation.

That was the simplified synopsis of Huo Yuhao's history from what Xiu Ye could first read about it in the soulpedia.

Everything went accordingly to the story of Douluo Dalu 2 in first few years after Huo Yuhao was born, he was the child of the duke's personal maid and had awakened Spirit Eyes as his martial soul with a meager soul power of one.

Then came the death of his beloved mother when he was eight years old, that was when the original history got deviated. After the death of his mother, Huo Yuhao had a sudden mutation of his martial soul into something called Mystic Eyes.

His Mystic Eyes has more enhanced vision than his former Spirit Eyes, as he could see every bit of details down to the atomic level, his memory enhanced and he could comprehend things much easier.

Mutation of a martial soul could lead to either good or bad fortune, Huo Yuhao had gotten the former.

After his martial soul mutated, Huo Yuhao left the estate of his father's and went towards the Heaven Dou Empire to find new opportunities. Which there, he took numerous jobs to not only feed himself but to also buy certain items to help him grow in strength...

As Xiu Ye further reads the soulpedia, the more his expression turned darker and dumbfounded.

Even before he reincarnated into this world, canon was already long fucked, ten thousand years ago by the second protagonist of the Douluo Dalu series.

Huo Yuhao not only got Gojo Satoru's face and body but also abilities from what Xiu Ye had read, and different from canon, he had more than one wife!

The Douluo Dalu series most well known trait is that its main protagonists has only one love interest and wife.

This just proves it, ten thousand years ago, Huo Yuhao, was a reincarnated person! Maybe. There was also a chance that it was only an anomaly in this universe because his Spirit Eyes had mutated into something else.

But the uncanny resemblance of his face to Gojo Satoru... That's the first true evidence that the guy is a reincarnated person. Perhaps he's THE Gojo Satoru himself?

Pocketing his soul communicator back into his pocket, Xiu Ye slowly took a deep breath and calm down.

'No matter how much I panic, Huo Yuhao is not here and the timeline seems to remain the same. But that's what's freaking me out though. I wouldn't be fucking surprise that the guy rose into a God King or something even more powerful than that, with the trend of reincarnated protagonists.'

'Yet, he wasn't able to stop the disappearance of the Divine God Realm? He wasn't able to create a coexistence with soul beasts, or have the said soul beasts have equal rights in his time? Just what the fuck happened ten thousand years ago?!' Xiu Ye held his head up high and silently screamed in frustration of being clueless.

Several seconds later, Xiu Ye calmed down and put both of his hands on the sink top, twisting the lever to let water out on the blocked sink, he stared at his reflection on the mirror in front of him.

He saw himself, a determined and serious expression plastered on his face. As if he was a man about to enter the battlefield and start a bloodbath.

'There's no point thinking about it further, not until I get further information. Huo Yuhao's history is mostly the same in canon but with small yet big changes. There's got to be more deep information to his history, which I'll get in the school he went into.'

Xiu Ye closed his eyes and splashed his face with water and slowly let out a sigh. His face quickly dried from water with the use of fire element.

'I HAVE TO GO TO SHREK! That is my goal, and for that to happen I have to become even stronger.'

Xiu Ye walked out of the restroom and went back towards Shu Lengwei, who was patiently waiting for him.

He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry for the wait big sister."

Shu Lengwei shook her head. "Don't worry, you weren't gone that long. Now come on."

With Shu Lengwei in the lead, Xiu Ye followed after her in the elevator. Contrary to his expectations however, instead of ascending they were descending down.

A faint feeling of weightlessness told them that they were penetrating deep underground. As for how deep, it was impossible to tell.

The Spirit Pagoda was indeed worthy of being called the number one organization on the continent; they possessed both the strongest power, as well as the greatest resources. The amount they spent on engineering such a thing was simply astronomical.

This elevator had no numbers displayed to indicate the time or level, but at least three minutes passed before it gradually came to a stop.

Both of them exited the elevator and entered an expansive hall where 5 staff members were present. Behind them were countless metal passages.

Shu Lengwei took out a peculiar card and handed it over to one of the staff members. The staff member didn't utter a single word, simply gesturing for them to follow.

Ten meters down the corridor, they entered another elevator and continued their descent. This time they stopped after 20 seconds, finding themselves in a circular room upon exit.

This room was still made entirely out of metal, but hanging on the wall was a giant soul screen. An image of a green world flickered on the screen. It seemed to be a jungle.

The staff member turned around and began to speak. "There are one quota open for entry to the spirit ascension platform, which is you. When you can no longer bear the danger, press the emergency distress button and you will immediately return here. Pay attention to what I say next."
