1 Chapter 1 - Rebirth (rewritten)
Micheal is currently drifting around the vast black space, trying to find a way out of this place.
Suddenly a white portal opens up and he's drugged in , when Micheal open his eyes he sees a large room with a large deck with stacks of paper work and an old man doing paper work on his desk.
???:"oh good you're the last one for today" .
???:"give me just a second , i will just find your file and we shall begin"
The old man is looking around the table until he find the files.
???:"now let's see who we have here
name:Micheal
age: 21
cause of death :lung cancer.
family : a mother and a younger sister.
hobbies:a fan of anime,manga, novels, learned to wield a rapier from his father.
must have been hard to die so young".
Micheal looked confused at the old man.
???:" oh right i forget to introduce myself you can call me God"
Micheal: " nice to meet you old man" Micheal said with a smile on his face.
God : "let's cut to the chase from the information that i have here on you. you don't possess any karma at all good or bad, you posses two option ever go to heaven or reincarnate at a different world of your choosing ".
Micheal looked confused at the old man.
"why do i get the option of reincarnation if you said that i don't posses any karma at all ".
God:"a very good question it's very simple it's very rare to find a human being that does not posses any karma at all. so i am giving you the chance of reincarnation to a world of your choosing."
" in your case you haven't lived long and because you had lung cancer you have been in treatment for it, and you haven't committed any large action that may cause your karma to change neither to positive or negative".
"just so that we are clear, you only get one chance to be born in a diffident world of your choosing it can be any world that you desire, but you get no wishes or something like this
are we clear".
The old man said with a series face.
Micheal:"understood, can i get sometime to think about it?"
god:"you have an hour, you can go sit at the table over at the corner , you should try the mind calming tea that is on the table , it will help you calm down and think rationally , you don't wanna know how many people chooses worlds without thinking about the consequenseses, at least you use your head, go you have an hour ".
Micheal listen to the old man and went to the table and made himself and god some tea.
Micheal: " here you go with all that paperwork i think that you should also drink this tea.
god: " yeah you're right all the problem those lesser gods cause gives me a headache"
Micheal listen and went to seat and think about his options.
*45 minutes later*
"i have decided which world I wanna go to"
Micheal declared to the god.
" good tell me which option you have chosen" the god said with a smile on his face.
" i choose the second option i want to be reincarnated to a different world" Micheal said with a smile on his face.
"alright tell me which world do you want to reincarnate to" the god said.
"i would like to go to the third douluo dalu world"
Micheal said.
the god had a shocked face as he said " you do understand that if you decide to go to that world it is not guaranteed that you will be able to cultivate , you posses more chance of being born a normal person in that world, and if you will be able to cultivate . that path can lead you to another death, and your next time you may not be so lucky to meet me again. ".
"i am very aware of the chances that choice may present me with, i may become a normal person with no ability's at all or i could reach the level of a god, in every choice a person makes in his life there is some sort risk, now the question is are you willing to take that risk, I may not have lived for long but during the last year that the news of my upcoming death, I use that time to contemplate on the life that I lived, I gave up a lot on many things friend ,hobbies, I was a coward and not dealt with my problems, i have many regrets, but I don't want my own cowardice to drag me down any longer." Micheal said with a determination on his face.
the god look at Micheal with a series face and said "i like the determination in your eyes, i accept your decision now before you go i will ask you this , why did you choose that world, and specifically the third story".
Micheal look at the old man and answered
" as you may know from my file i was diagnosed with lung cancer after that i was depressed that my life is going to end , after that i dove deep into novels, anime,manga the douluo dalu story was my favorite one from all of them, the first two stories i was able to complete in its entire , but i was only able to reach maybe only a half on the third one. that story captivated me . if i won't be able to cultivate that fine. i will live my life to the fullest in one of my favorite world .and if i will be able to cultivate i would do everything in my power to reach the peak. i chose the third time line simply i don't want to know everything that is going to happen i would like to be surprised and see the story unfold with my own eyes ".
the god had a smile on his face has he said
"i like your way of thinking so i would give you a simple gift , you will be reborn as a human , you will be the same age as Tang Wulin, i will also give you the chance to be able to cultivate, i will not give you a top quality spirit, just so you know ." said the old man as he signed the file of Micheal.
as the old man said those words he pointed to his right towards the wall and a door appeared.
"so our time has come to an end when you pass the door you will be reborn ,I'm feeling generous so i would let you keep your memories" the god with the biggest smile yet.
"thank you very much for helping me and giving me a chance at a new life" Micheal said as he bowed to the old man .
Micheal started to walk towards the door last second before he went threw he turned around and said " i hope i would see you again when you are not so busy with the paperwork of yours. and have nice talk with you"
Micheal than turn and walked through the door.
the door than closes and disappear.
the old man looked at the door as he said " the next time we meet may be closer than you think "
than the old man continued with his paperwork.
