28 New Faces, Same Name

"I wish you the best my god." Seto bade farewell to his God with a few how, his glasses stuck to the bridge of his nose using his spiritual power. Regrettably, his God must leave for class in just under an hour.

"Please be careful." Imort expressed his worries, a deep frown on his face. While nothing should happen to his god he was still worried due to Wulin being weakened by the universal order. If he had his way, he would follow after him to protect his god.

"Mhm." Tang Wulin hummed in response, raising his hands up to tear through space once again to return to his dorm room however he paused in place. Turning his head toward the freshly cleaned fifteen former test subjects they had saved.

Their ages ranged, their maturity was far from even, their bodies aging few similarities, and their opinions towards life being vastly different, and yet they were so close to one another. No matter how different they were they all cared deeply for one another as people who escaped the same hell.

'Is this how we looked?' Wulin questioned, a group of eleven children flashing in his mind causing his heart to squeeze painfully and his hands to clench tightly. If it weren't for his tough body his fingernails would have long since pierced his skin.

The eleven children in his mind were no different from those in front of him besides the obvious number difference. They loved one another, they cared for one another, and they healed one another. The group relied on each other for everything but…

"Hakm." Tang Wulin began, pushing the intrusive thoughts to the back of his mind. "Leona. Cancer. Capricorn. Aries. Scorpio. Castor and Pollux. Libra. Venus and Amor. Taurus. Sagittarius. Aquarius. Virgo."

Even before he had even listed their names he had their full attention but it had increased drastically at his words, their attention caught by his somewhat somber tone. It was a tone none of the people in the room, including Seto and Imort, expected to hear.

"Don't ever fail each other." Tang Wulin parted one last piece of wisdom before tearing space apart and stepping through the unstable portal, the spatial attacks barely receiving his notice when compared to the tightness in his chest.

Even after he stepped out of the portal and even after it had long since closed the tightness in his chest didn't vanish. Placing a hand on his chest he felt his heart, it beat no differently yet it hurt so much.

'Am I sick?' Tang Wulin questioned himself, the idea never even crossing his mind. With the intense strength of his body and his near instant regeneration had made him think he would never get sick. He had gotten complacent.

He would have to receive a medical examination by Hakm in the near future. It would have to wait for the moment though. Hakm had to recover his strength and then complete his training to become the Fourth Slayer before he could distract him for something so minor.

Shaking off the small nagging voice in the back of his mind the second Golden Dragon King made his way into the shower. He would normally have just used soul power to force all the grime off of him but for some reason, he felt like taking a shower would be beneficial to him.

'If relaxing had been effective just as she had said then showering should be as well.' Tang Wulin thought to himself, the face of the resident beauty who rivaled the current him in terms of power appearing in his mind without his control. He couldn't even get her face out of his mind.

The day had been a roller coaster as most would call it and its effects seemed to be stronger than he thought. He couldn't even clear his mind of distractions as he usually could for some odd reason. It was like his mind wouldn't listen to him.

Leaving the shower he dried and dressed himself before making his way over to his teacher's personal training room which had been taken over by them at some point. Luckily, Wu Zhangkong didn't lack money and just funded the creation of another one.

Stepping into the training room, time seemed to slow to a crawl, his crimson eyes hyper focused on the small flutter of the silver hair flowing through the air, light reflecting off it and making it shine like a gem.

Gu Yuena wasn't just sitting down and controlling her elements, she was actually training her body. Her quickly forming chest was wrapped in a tight sports bra and her lower body was covered by skin tight shorts of the same material. It was something he would normally just ignore however it was impossible for some reason.

"Oh, you're here. I guess even you sleep in sometimes." Gu Yuena teased lightly, grabbing a towel and wiping her brow lightly. There was still over an hour until the first class began so he hadn't overslept by any means, rather it was just her rubbing the fact that she arrived before him in his face.

"Mhm. Why did you come so early?" Tang Wulin questioned lightly, something he would normally never do. He was acting unbelievably strangely recently, since yesterday in fact. Even saying something so simple was oddly nerve racking.

"I had trouble sleeping so I decided to train instead." Gu Yuena replied simply, her tone indicating it was nothing to worry about yet her other half still frowned in response. It was small, barely a reaction at all really, but it was strangely heartwarming.

"I see." Tang Wulin replied, his voice no different than his usual emotionless voice yet his crimson eyes were ever so slightly unfocused, a clear sign that he was thinking deeply about something and that something was obvious. He was worrying about her.

However, unbeknownst to him, she was more worried for him. He was an important part of her plans, and while she wouldn't admit it he had warmed his way into her heart quite quickly, so she was naturally worried about him considering what was happening to him.

'What did you do to incur the wrath of the universal order?' Gu Yuena questioned herself, a frown of worry marring her face.
