46 Chapter 46: Huo Yuhao vs Dai Huabin

The proctor raised his hand and announced, "Let the match begin!"

The instant after the announcement was made, both parties moved identically; they both charged towards each other.

Dai Huabin let out a loud roar, "White Tiger, Possession!" An intense, white light suddenly exploded from his body, causing his arms to simultaneously expand as he charged forward. His muscles suddenly swelled up, and bone-cracking sounds rang out from every corner of his body, causing his clothes to be stretched taut. Three optimal soul rings surrounded him.

His golden hair instantly turned black and white, four faint lines appeared on his head, forming the 'King' character. His hands transformed the most, taking on the appearance of white furred tiger claws that looked as deadly sharp and long as daggers!

Huo Yuhao's expression darkened as he saw Dai Huabin's White Tiger martial soul transformation. His father's martial soul, the martial soul he could've awakened with if his Sharingan didn't appear.

If he also possessed the strong White Tiger martial soul, even the wife of the White Tiger Duke wouldn't be able to suppress him and his mom if she wanted to. Any child of the main bloodline who possessed the White Tiger would be an extremely important person who would be groomed by the clan.

'I'll show them, I'll show them all how pathetic they truly are!' Several kunais slipped in between his fingers, taking aim on Dai Huabin's vital spots.

Even though he could easily end it all with a Genjutsu, Huo Yuhao wanted to humiliate Dai Huabin properly before taking him down. He wanted to prove to himself and everyone else in the future that the White Tiger main bloodline is a joke compared to his!

In a blur, he threw the kunais at Dai Huabin but three fluffy purple tails quickly interjected and smacked the weapons away.

Cui Yajie, who now had a drastic transformation with three fluffy tails from behind her that was 10 inches wide and half a meter long, with a pair of cute white feline ears above her head and her eyes having a demonic charm to them, she appeared like a ghost before Huo Yuhao.

Dai Huabin and his team had been planning this match for the entire night and the strategy they came up with was simple. Although Dai Huabin was the strongest amongst them, Cui Yajie was someone who had a strong spiritual power and impressively powerful charming ability than most soul masters.

So they left their strongest opponent to her. Unfortunately however, they miscalculated.

"Come handsome, play with me." She teasingly said, a playful grin on her face. One of her yellow soul rings lit up.

"Hmph!"

Huo Yuhao's eyes grew colder, with a flash of red and gold, the invisible spiritual attack sent his way was easily dispelled like blowing away smoke.

"What?!" Cui Yajie was stunned.

"Using a spiritual attack on someone with the Sharingan, overconfidence has its limits!" Huo Yuhao's eyes glimmered with intense light.

'Have a taste of my own special edition attack, Naked Hottie Genjutsu!'

Cui Yajie didn't even get to defend herself when she was immediately and unknowingly placed under an illusion; she found the world around her went dark.

"What's going on?!"

Her teammates, enemies, teachers, students and the arena were all gone.

Just as she started panicking, her heart momentarily stopped beating.

Not because she had died or anything like that, but because she was shocked to see a incredibly handsome and alluring man standing before her. He had lustrous black hair that fell to his shoulders, and his piercing red eyes seemed to captivate her soul.

"Who...who are you?" Cui Yajie stammered, her voice trembling with both fear and fascination.

The man chuckled softly, his voice like a melody. "I am the one who will make all your dreams come true, my dear. The man of your fantasies, the one you've always hoped for."

Cui Yajie's heart raced with anticipation and confusion. Her mind had started getting hazy. However, her instincts was telling her that something was wrong.

But all thoughts of doubt and suspicion went away as the handsome lowered his chin, pursed his lips and wiggled his eyebrows, taking on a rather charming and comical facial expression.

"My little fox, would you care for a little...dance? Muah?"

"Y-Yes! Oh, take my hand my prince!"

"Cui Yajie! Hey!" Dai Huabin yelled out to his teammate, who was standing still with a vacant look on her eyes and a droopy smile on her face. "Dammit! She's–"

He didn't manage to finish his sentence when a swift and powerful kick lashed out harshly towards the left side of his face which he quickly put up both his arms up to block it. The impact was still strong enough to send him stumbling back a few steps, his arms feeling numb from the force.

Huo Yuhao's kick had been precise and powerful, but he didn't stop there. He followed up with a series of lightning-fast punches, aiming for Dai Huabin's chest and stomach. Each strike landed with a resounding thud, causing Dai Huabin to gasp for breath.

'How...'

*Bam!*

'Is he...'

*Bam!* *Bam!* *Bam!*

'So freaking fast?!'

The White Tiger martial soul transformation isn't to be scoffed at as its natural defense and tenacity made the user incredibly durable and could even brush off some rank 2 attack type soul tools at Dai Huabin's cultivation level.

But although his defenses is strengthened, it didn't mean his human weak points like pressure points were any less vulnerable. Huo Yuhao knew exactly where to strike to immobilize his opponent without causing any serious harm.

"Grr, fuck off!" Dai Huabin growled and finally found an opportune time to use his first soul skill, White Tiger Shield Body Barrier; which covers Dai Huabin in a layer of white light that acts like a shield, increasing his strength and defense.

With blood red eyes emitting intense killing intent, Dai Huabin grabbed Huo Yuhao's right hand palm that was about to hit his chest. The former was about to snap the latter's hand when Huo Yuhao suddenly began loosening his grip and started moving his fingers which also made Dai Huabin's fingers move as well.

"What the–?"

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique"

Huo Yuhao inhaled, puffing out his chest and face cheeks, and a large fireball erupted from his mouth towards Dai Huabin, engulfing him in flames.

"Hnngh...! Aah!" Dai Huabin's White Tiger Shield Body Barrier slowly collapsed under the intense heat and force of the fireball. He staggered back, his clothes singed and his body covered in burns.

Huo Yuhao didn't let up, immediately following up with another attack; opting to punching Dai Huabin's stomach with a concentrated burst of strength. The impact caused Dai Huabin to spit out blood as he was sent flying backward, crashing into the ground with a loud thud.

"Huabin!" Zhu Lu cried out in shock and horror, her first soul ring lighting up, and she was covered with a yellow glow, unexpectedly rushing towards the Huo Yuhao with a burst of shocking speed.

'Fast! So this kitty has some bite to her after all,' Huo Yuhao thought as he swiped his hand over his storage belt and two little black balls appeared in his right hand. 'Xiao Xiao, Wang Dong. Get ready!'

Zhu Lu was like a vengeful ghost as she appeared before Huo Yuhao, her second soul ring light up as she raised both of her claws up, looking as sharp and dangerous as steel blades, she unhesitatingly swung them down towards Huo Yuhao, aiming for his head and chest.

But just as her claws were about to make contact, Huo Yuhao threw down the little balls into the ground, which exploded into a puff of smoke. The smoke quickly enveloped the area, obscuring Zhu Lu's vision.

"Chi!"

However, just as she was about to retract her claws and took a step back, there was a whirling sound coming towards her.

With wide eyes, she watched in horror as the smoke scattered out as three black cauldrons; one on each of her side and the last at her front, were thrown towards her. The cauldrons spun rapidly, accelerating towards Zhu Lu at an alarming speed.

"No!" Zhu Lu shouted, panicking, she tried to dodge by jumping back only to freeze as she felt powerful undulations of soul power gathering from behind her. She glanced back to find Wang Dong with his two upper wings glowing with bluish-purple lustre, glinting with a sharpness that wasn't inferior to any sharp blade.

'No, I'm trapped!' Zhu Lu's heart sank as she realized she had fallen into a trap. She was surrounded by Xiao Xiao's martial soul, with the spinning cauldrons moving closer and Wang Dong's wings ready to strike. Panic surged through her as she desperately tried to find an escape route.

"Aaaaargh! Zhu Lu!" Fortunately for her however, Dai Huabin regained his senses at that moment and rushed to her aid. Stomping on the ground, his muscles began bulging, his second soul ring lit up and he raised his head up towards Wang Dong.

"White Tiger Intense Light Wave!"

He opened his mouth and let out a thunderous tiger roar, a blinding golden light erupted from his mouth and formed into a powerful wave that surged towards Wang Dong. The force of the wave was so strong that it caused the surrounding air to tremble, creating a powerful shockwave that pushed back the spinning cauldrons and disrupted Xiao Xiao's control over them.

Wang Dong was caught off guard by the sudden attack and his wings faltered, the bluish-purple lustre fading as he lost balance in the air. He was sent tumbling backwards, narrowly avoiding the intense light wave that would have surely incapacitated him.

"Regroup!" Dai Huabin yelled as he rushed towards before heading towards the still dazed Cui Yajie.

Zhu Lu quickly obeyed him and the two headed towards their teammate, intending to wake her up and start thinking on a different strategy.

But would Huo Yuhao let them do that? No.

Using Body Flicker Jutsu, he appeared in a flash between the shocked couple and he unhesitatingly lashed out a kick to Zhu Lu's right side, with enough force that it sent her flying to the ground and rattling her organs, while he twirled in midair to gather the necessary momentum to punch at Dai Huabin's face but the latter was quick to cross his arms together in a desperate attempt to block the attack. The impact was still powerful enough to send Dai Huabin stumbling backwards, blood dripping from his nose.

"Pitui!" Dai Huabin spat, wiping the blood from his nose with the back of his hand. He glared at Huo Yuhao with fury and determination, his lips curled into a frenzy smirk. "I'll admit, you're strong. But trying to fight me in a hand to hand combat, you're more arrogant than I though. Although you've got some barrier that would shield you, but given enough time, I'll break through it and crush you like the worm you are!"

Huo Yuhao smirked, his eyes gleaming with coldness. "Oh, I know. I know all about the White Tiger constitution your martial soul gives you. That bleeding nose and burns around your body? They're just superficial wounds that would take you a couple days to heal from. "

He smirked and pulled out a kunai from his storage belt, the dark blade gleaming under the sunlight, reflecting his cold red-eyes surging with killing intent.

"But that just makes this more enjoyable for me."

Dai Huabin shivered, his pupils dilating. Confused, he looked down at his trembling tiger claws.

'I'm... trembling?'

For the first time in Dai Huabin's life, he felt fear.

Although Huo Yuhao didn't do anything with his Sharingan, his eyes's natural dark aura of intimidation and killing intent was enough to even terrify a grown adult that went through numerous battlefields. Combined with his swift and powerful attacks, it had further shaken Dai Huabin's confidence.

'Good,' Huo Yuhao's smirk spread out. 'show everyone how pathetic and cowardly you truly are. Tremble and submit!'

"I've heard of the power of your...Sharingan, but I never thought it would be this terrifying," Dai Huabin muttered to himself, grounding his teeth.

'He's just a one-ringed Soul Master! A weak ten year old soul ring at that! Looking like I'm being forced back is bad enough as it is, but being afraid of him?! I couldn't show my face to anyone after this!' A vein popped on his forehead as he took a step forward, and his first soul ring and his purple thousand year soul ring glowed simultaneously, encasing his body entirely in its splendor.

"Unforgivable!" He yelled, spreading his arms out.

His white and black striped hair began rising up into the air, golden arcs of electricity began flashing across his body as his muscles buged out and expanded, tearing apart his upper tattered school uniform; revealing his toned and muscular physique.

The king character on his forehead became more prominent and majestic, his tiger claws twitched and grew thicker and longer.

Huo Yuhao's eyes widened in surprise as he watched Dai Huabin's transformation. The aura of power emanating from him was immense, and he could feel his own heart rate increase in response. He had underestimated Dai Huabin's strength.

"White Tiger Vajra Transformation!" Dai Huabin proclaimed as he lowered his head and without any warning, he disappeared in a flash.

But to Huo Yuhao, who had impressive eyesight, Dai Huabin leapt towards him with one kick to the ground and another kick in midair, aiming directly for Huo Yuhao's chest. The air crackled with electricity and the force behind the kick was enough to create a shockwave that rippled through the surrounding area.

Huo Yuhao's eyes narrowed as he threw the kunai he was holding into the air and executed a series of hand seals with blinding speed, as he finished, Dai Huabin arrived and punched out at his chest.

*Puff!*

Only for a puff white smoke to appear and a wooden log falling to the ground, revealing that Huo Yuhao had successfully used the Body Replacement Technique to avoid the attack.

Dai Huabin's eyes widened in surprise as he saw the log. Before he could react, Huo Yuhao's voice rang out from behind him.

"Still too slow," Huo Yuhao grabbed the kunai that he had thrown into the air and unhesitatingly stabbed it towards Dai Huabin's back.

But just as the kunai was about to make contact, Dai Huabin swiftly turned around, a fierce determination in his eyes. He raised his arm and grabbed the kunai, a golden glow covered his palm, stopping the kunai mere centimeters away from his body.

"Nice try," Dai Huabin hissed through gritted teeth. With a sudden burst of strength, he twisted his body and slammed Huo Yuhao into the ground.

"Chi!" But Huo Yuhao looked unharmed, having used Absolute Domain to protect himself, he let go of the kunai and was about to use his Great Fireball Technique on Dai Huabin.

But unexpectedly, Dai Huabin retreated back and rushed to a certain direction.

Thanks to his Spiritual Detection Sharing, Huo Yuhao didn't have to look up to see where he was heading to.

'Zhu Lu? Why is he...?' A uneasy feeling immediately blossomed in his heart and it took a moment for him to realize what they're planning!

'Wang Dong! Xiao Xiao! Stop them!' He immediately got up and started communicating through Spiritual Sharing, a solemn expression on his face.

'They're planning to do a martial soul fusion!'

Both faces of Wang Dong and Xiao Xiao sunk in hearing that they doubled down on keeping Zhu Lu from meeting up with Dai Huabin, Xiao Xiao even switched her martial soul to the Nine Phoenix Dancing Flute to slow both their speed.

But Zhu Lu was still a bit faster than them, when focusing all her strength and using her soul skill into evading their attacks, she succesfully evaded them nimbly and gracefully as she hurriedly rushed towards Dai Huabin.

Huo Yuhao didn't even hesitate into throwing numerous explosive kunais at Dai Huabin, but the latter would either dodge or take the explosion with gritted teeth.

Unfortunately, Dai Huabin and Zhu Lu made their way towards each other. The former opened his mouth, twisted his body, and then released another powerful light wave towards Huo Yuhao and his team.

And in that moment of reprieve for them, they spread out their arms and began to hug one another.

A blinding light of black and white, like a ball of yin and yang, erupted from their bodies.
