Chapter 8 — Star Qi!

After Yu Long, finished reading the introduction of the three powerful techniques that had their all unique ability, He was now beyond shock.

He did not expect for a heaven-shaking technique like this, furthermore it was in his hand.

'This old crimson book... I wonder who made it? Was it my parent?'

Yu Long pondered to himself.

Why did he have the old crimson book?

Who created it?

Who was the creator?

Many question flooded in Yu Long mind.

'I am still weak! I should first get stronger before even digging more about this crimson book.'

Yu Long shook his head.

'The creator of this book must surely have a heaven-defying strength. Digging more about this book might just lead me into danger.'

Yu Long then moved his attention toward the Forbidden inner star qi technique.

It was the first technique, he wanted to cultivate, since the two other technique need this to be atleast at the first tier.

Yu Long then carefully read the method of how to cultivate the Forbidden inner star technique.

Yu Long first though after reading through the method to cultivate the Forbidden inner star Qi, was complex and he need days to learn it.

The method involved, from how you need to connect with your fate star in the void up in the sky. It also contained complex how the Qi will flow and any slight mistake may cause irreversable damaged.

But it was no problem to Yu Long who realised his comprehension-speed increasing after 1 year. He had only realised it since the improvement in it was gradual.

Yu Long can only think of two culprit or source behind his increase in comprehension speed.

First, the red-silver skeleton that had fused with him.

Second the mysterious posture that nourished his soul.

Or maybe both of them?

Speaking about the mysterious posture, Yu Long realised it's effect toward his body was getting little as well to his soul.

Two days passed quickly and Yu Long finally finished comprehending and memorising all he need to cultivate the Forbidden inner star Qi.

The problem now was about the requirement to cultivate the technique. The technique required oneself to connect with his fate star.

And Yu Long don't know how. All it said on the method was to closed ones eyes and wait for the star to acknowledge you.

Thus Yu Long did what the method instructed.

He sat cross-legged on his bed at his bedroom.

He closed his eyes and calmed his mind.

Yu Long sat at his bed until three hours passed, but his unknown fate star is still not acknowledging him.

But still, Yu Long persevere.

Days passed.

Weeks passed.

The time for Yu Long was slow he always sat there at his bed for hours, only when it's time to eat and sleep will he not meditate waiting for his unknown star acknowledgement. But still, he continued to perseverse.

As Yu Long continued to perseverse, he gradually learned and developed his patience.

A skill that is super useful.

Until finally when Yu Long is meditating at night, he suddenly saw himself, in a flash, in a place like abyss that seems to be boundless.

In this abyss like place, a enormous crimson-silver star was slowly rotating.

The star emmited a heavy and strong pressure toward Yu Long who was panting.

He can't breath infront of this star.

'Whay is this gigantic being?'

Yu Long was shock that it can be seen in his face. He wondered to himself.

Where is he?

What was this gigantic calestial being infront of him?

Then an idea crossed his mind.

'Could it be... My fate star!?'

Yu Long though in disbelief.

'Roar!'

But a loud defeaning roar sounded from the star.

The roar can even shook the heaven.

This roar also snapped Yu Long out of his train of thoughts.

Then the gigantic star, released a eye-blinding shine.

Seeing this shine, Yu Long quickly closed his eyes in fear.

Yu Long felt he will disengrate if he was hit by the light.

A few seconds later, Yu Long slowly opened his eyes.

He let out a sigh filled with relief as he saw he was back at his room. His worst though did not came true.

But Yu Long knew. What happened earlier, really happened and is real.

Yu Long also kinda felt a 'Thread' like thing that connected him and his fate star.

'Does it mean.. That I succeeded at connecting with my fate star..?'

Yu Long was bewildered for a moment, before his expression turn into happiness.

A large smile was plastered at his face.

"My effort and perseverseness has beem finally rewarded!"

Yu Long muttered in bliss.

Also after Yu Long succeeded in connecting with his fate star, he can now sense the core ingredient for the Forbidden inner star Qi in the surrounding—The Star Qi!

As soon as Yu Long sensed the Star Qi, he quickly started the Energy phase of the Forbidden inner star Qi.

Yu Long focused at the Star Qi at his surrounding. He then took a deep breath through his nose.

As Yu Long breath in, the Star Qi at the surrounding also flowed through his nose.

Yu Long did not breath out yet. He puffed his mouth as he did not breath out yet.

After the Star Qi was absorbed by Yu Long, the Qi that was clearly more pure, powerful than Yu Long own spirit power, started to flow through his energy pathway.

As the star qi flowed through Yu Long energy pathway, the Qi clearing out the impurity hidden, making the spirit power to flow more smoother, the pathway was also tougher and wider.

After that, the energy flowed through his dantian, where the star qi assimilated with Yu Long spirit power. Making his own spirit power more vigorous, powerful and pure.

After that many more complicated and complex happened, before Yu Long breath out with his face red.

After he breath out, it was accompanied with a black smoke. The black smoke contained foul odor.

The black smoke was the impurity accumalated on Yu Long pathway.

Then Yu Long continues this process like a cycle. This cycle last ten times, before Yu Long stopped as he can't no longer continue.

This situation was like what happened on the mysterious posture.

Yu Long then then looked at his changed with his spirit power.

In his abdomen, a crimson and silver gas was in there.

The gas more more vibrant and powerful property.

The gas also grew denser as a wall stop it from advancing. And can only compressed.

Seeing that he can no longer continue, Yu Long decided to go to the second phase, the body phase.

'This phase might solve the problem of the mysterious posture.'

Yu Long though.

In this phase, Yu Long will not allow the Star Qi to flow through his nose, rather his pores.

Since Yu Long already experience first hand using his pores to absorb star energy. He did not have to go through problem to absorb the star qi.

Soon the star qi at the surrounding was suck by his thousands of pores.

The star qi absorbed by the pores was then slowly spreading through his entire body.

"Ahh.."

Yu Long let out a moaned as he felt the star qi coursing through his body. He felt pleasant.

Then Yu Long felt his flesh becoming stronger. His bones getting tougher. And his blood gushing like a river as it slowly become denser.

Yu Long felt his entire body being strengthened.

Soon the process ended. Yu Long then continued again until he can't no longer after the doing it three times.
