Chapter 5 — Spirit Awakening 3
Gulped..!
The children stepped back in fear as cold sweat drenched their back. They were shocked and terrified seeing Lin Feng's savage and cruel words.
They didn't knew the outside world would work like that. They also cannot blame themselves either since they were used to living in peace.
"What he said is true... The law of jungle is the absolute." Yu Long nodded his head in agreement.
He had learned this harsh truth ever since he started to learn the books inside the library.
"Line up! I will now awakened ya'll," Lin Feng said coldly.
He took out some black rocks and a single blue crystal ball out of his spatial storage.
Lin Feng then arranged the stones into a large circle formation on the marble floor.
"You, come forward," Lin Feng motioned for a brown-haired boy to come forward.
The boy flinched after he was called out by Lin Feng.
He then walked toward the 'devil' and stood inside the circle formation.
The brown-haired boy felt many emotion filling his heart.
Fear, anxiety, and anticipation.
Lin Feng looked toward the boy with a emotionless face.
Clap!
Lin Feng slammed his palm together as fiery light poured toward the black stones arranged into a circle formation.
A vast amount of yellow wisp emerged out from the black stones.
The yellow wisp flew toward the boy and covered his whole body.
The boy panicked immediately but his face quickly became calm as the yellow wisp entered his body. His body released a bright golden glow, illuminating the whole church.
'Wow...'
'Amazing..'
The children were amazed to see what was happening toward the boy.
The golden light soon lost it's luster and everything went back to normal.
A small iron pickaxe was floating on the boys right palm.
Lin Feng frowned seeing this iron pickaxe.
He shook his head and spoke extremely cold as if he was talking to a mere bug. "Iron Pickaxe a Tool Spirit."
"Is my spirit good..?"
The boy timidly asked while looking at Lin Feng.
"Good? It's just an average tool spirit you can find anywhere," Lin Feng harshly said.
His words brought a thunder to strike the boy. His heart was shaken.
"You still have a chance to be a spirit master if you have any slight of spirit power in your body."
This words brought hope toward the boy.
"B-but how do I put this away?"
The boy asked timidly.
"Remember the time you called it out and then use that feeling to recall it inside your body."
The boy followed what Lin Feng said, but it took some time for him to recall it.
Lin Feng seeing the boy finally recalling his spirit, took out the blue crystal blue orb.
"Put your hand on it," Lin Feng simply instructed.
He held the crystal ball Infront of the boy.
The boy nervously put his hand toward the crystal ball and then nothing happened to the crystal ball.
"No spirit power."
The brown-haired boy hearing this words, despaired.
He left the church with a tearful face and gloomy aura.
Many more of the children were awakened after the brown-haired boy.
Unfortunately, no one had awakened a strong spirit nor possessed any spirit power. They simply followed what the brown-haired boy had done and left the church.
Lin Feng continued to awakened the children with his disappointment growing as time passed.
The straight line had gone shorter than before but no one had yet got the potential to be a spirit master.
The line continued to get shorter, until Yu Long and Fatty was the only one left on the line.
"Blue silver grass, plant spirit. No spirit power."
After that girl with a silver grass and no spirit power, It was now Fatty's turn to awakened.
Fatty was currently shaking in fear as the idea of failling the ceremony.
Yu Long couldn't help but also smile nervously seeing Fatty's state.
"Don't be too nervous! I'm sure you will awakened as a spirit master!" Yu Long softly patted Fatty shoulder.
Fatty felt warm after hearing Yu Long encouragement and walked toward Lin Feng with confidence.
He stood inside the circle formation.
Clap!
A vast amount of yellowish light emerged from the black stones and covered Fatty's whole body.
The golden light that Fatty released was clearly much more brighter than all the children combined.
Lin Feng bored eyes quickly changed into a shock and expectation.
The bright golden light soon dimmed with it's luster fading away.
After the golden light dissapeared, Fatty had undergo a large changed.
His body swelled up slightly with his two arms turning like a hammer. His skin was painted in deep black with red stripes around it and black stones covered all his weaks spot. His sclera becoming black and a large horn growing out from his forehead.
Fatty was releasing a terrifying and demonic pressure.
