Chapter 29 — Otherworldly Academy (2)

The Starry Sea City was located at the southwest of Han City. It was a city that deals with trading from all the merchant coming from different kind of area.

Rumble!

A large luxury and grand carriage carried by two elegant horse was running across the city road, causing the road paved out of stones to shake slightly.

The people who saw the carriage was amazed by the luxury-looking carriage appearance and they wondered if some big-shot arrived at the city

The window of the luxury carriage slowly opened and a handsome boy peeked out of the window, looking at the surrounding.

The boy had a neat black hair and a pair of bright crimson eyes.

This handsome boy was Yu Long who arrived at the Starry Sea City just now after travelling for a few days.

The journey was safe with no bandits coming to cause some trouble.

Yu Long turned his head away from the window and looked toward the sleeping Xiao Yi on the soft couch.

The sleeping Xiao Yi looked cute to look at.

Then Yu Long looked at Fang Lin next to him whose eyes were watching the outside with sparkling eyes.

"Gosh! There are so many delicious foods outside!" Fang Lin licked his lips in gluttony, but then his face turned dark, "I have no money..."

Then Fang Lin immediately brighten up, "Daddy Yu Long can you lend me some money?" Fang Lin pouted trying to look cute.

"No," Yu Long quickly said, he felt his stomach churning in disgust while looking at Fang Lin pouting.

Yu Long then felt the carriage stopping at it's tract.

"We have arrived," A hoarst voice sounded outside the carriage.

Yu Long after hearing they had arrived, carefully woke up Xiao Yi.

"Morning..." Xiao Yi lazily woke up and stood up from her sit.

Yu Long looked at Xiao Yi and then realized she had changed alot after 2 years.

Xiao Yi became taller after these past two years and became even more beautiful. She had an slender waist that can make most woman envious. Her bossom and chest was also quite abit large for her age.

"Did we already arrive!?" Fang Lin asked next to him.

Yu Long looked toward Fang Lin and thought to himself that Fang Lin didn't changed that much.

Fang Lin just became taller and his body also seems to get slightly fluffy.

"I think so," Yu Long took out many gold coins from his pendant.

Fang Lin seeing those gold coins became excited, "I love you Daddy Yu Long! Please give me some money!" He acted like an gold-digger again.

Yu Long creased in disgust once more after hearing what Fang Lin said.

This Fang Lin evolved into a shameless gold-digger tank!

Yu Long shook his head and then went outside the carriage.

Fang Lin laughed evily and jumped out of the carriage with Xiao Yi behind him.

Yu Long gave the old man driving the carriage his gold coins.

The luxury carriage immediately left and dissapeard toward the horizon.

Yu Long narrowed his eyes, looking at the large iron gate with tall iron fences infront of him.

On the large iron gate, a large blue wooden sign hanging on the top of it.

A [ Otherworldly Academy ] was written on the sign.

Yu Long eyes then landed on the middle of the iron gate where a middle-aged man was sitting in a wooden chair with a wooden table infront of him and he saw the name of the man on the table.

It was Li Yue.

There were two young girls lining up Infront of the middle-aged man.

The girl Infront of the line had an pure-looking oval-shaped face with a blond-hair as a frame and sparkling amethyst eyes.

The other girl had an serious round-shaped face with a short green hair and eyes.

"Name?" Li Yue raised his brows.

"Ji Yu!" The blonde-haired girl named Ji Yu said brightly.

Li Yue nodded his head, "Give me your hand."

"Sure," The girl extended her right arm toward Li Yue.

Li Yue put his finger on Ji Yu wrist, blue light started to emit from the tip of his finger.

"Bone Age: 11 years old," Li Yue continued, "Show me your spirit ring next."

Bright yellow light escaped from Ji Yu's hand and a violin appeared.

Two halos rose up from her feet; her two spirit ring was yellow.

Li Yue showed a satisfied smile, "You can now continue moving forward now."

Ji Yu formed a bright smile and looked behind her.

"I'll wait for you in the side, Hu Yu!" Ji Yu said and went toward the side of the Li Yue.

The green-haired girl simply nodded as a reply and it was now her turn to be checked by Li Yue.

"Name?" Li Yue asked stoicly.

"Hu Yu," Hu Yu quickly replied and then put her wrist toward Li Yue.

"Bone Age: 11 years old!" Li Yue said as he let go of Hu Yu wrist.

"Show me your spirit rings."

Hu Yu eyes released a deep green light and two halos rose from her feet.

It was both yellow rings like Ji Yu.

"Good you can also continue forward," Li Yue said with a smile.

Hu Yu nodded slightly and went toward Ji Yu his little sister.

Then she saw three people approaching Li Yue.

"We will also enter the academy." Yu Long said toward Li Yue.

Li Yue looked curiously at Yu Long and asked quickly, "Did you received a invitation?"

Yu Long nodded firmly and handed the invitation toward Li Yue

Li Yue checked the letter to see if it was fake, but then affirmed the letter was real

"What's your name?"

"Yu Long."

"I'll measure your bone age and remember those over 12 years old can't join this academy," Li Yue slowly explained.

Yu Long did not replied and extend his wrist toward Li Yue.

"Bone age: 10 years old!" Li Yue was shocked seeing Yu Long's age, "Show me your spirit ring!"

Yu Long though what spirit essence to reveal, but in the end decided to choose his second spirit.

A dazzling green light appeared on Yu Long's palm as a small tree grew. Two purple halos rose from his feet and settled at his back.

Baam!

Li Yue stood up from his seat in horror and shocked as he stared at Yu Long's purple rings.

"Otherworldly!" Li Yue muttered heavily.

It was definitely impossible to absorb a purple ring as your first spirit ring!

"You passed! You don't need to pass all the test!" Li Yue said excitedly.

With Yu Long talent, the Otherworldly academy might regain it's former glory!

"No, I still want to try those test you talked about," Yu Long answered stubbornly.

"Oh.. Okay then.." Li Yue nodded repeatedly.

Yu Long went toward the side to wait for Xiao Yi and Fang Lin. He then saw two girls looking at him in amaze.

Yu Long made a small smile at them and looked toward Xiao Yi.

"Name?" Li Yue asked in anticipation as Yu Long's friend might also be a great talent.

"Xiao Yi." Xiao Yi put her wrist toward Li Yue.

Li Yue nodded and put his finger on Xiao Yi's wrist.

"Bone age: 10 year's old!" Li Yue said as his anticipation grew stronger, "Show your spirit rings!"

Xiao Yi eyes lit up as crimson ray of light exploded out from her hands. A crimson spear appeared and two halos rose from her.

The halos being yellow and purple.

"You can also skipped all the test or try it like what your friend did." Li Yue said while grinning madly.

"I'll try the test," Xiao Yi said and went toward Yu Long.

It was finally Fang Lin turn to be checked.

Li Yue looked at Fang Lin and thought inside of him, 'Could this Fatty will also..?'

Doubt grew on his heart seeing Fang Lin apprearance.

Li Yue quickly checked out Fang Lin's bone ages, "Bone age: 10 years old."

"Show me your spirit rings."

Fang Lin was clad in pitch-black light as his body transformed. Two halos rose from his feet.

Li Yue was quite shocked seeing Fang Lin have a yellow and purple ring.

'I guess I should not judge people by their looks in the future..' Li Yue thought.

Li Yue then faced all the people gathered on the side and said, "Now enter the academy and take your test!"

All of them nodded and went inside the Otherworldly Academy.
