Chapter 24 — Spirit Ring (2)

"Did your 2nd spirit ring gained it's own will like the 1st ring?" Yu Long then asked another question after seeing Fang Lin activating his 1st and 2nd spirit ring at the same time.

Fang Lin shook his head quickly after Yu Long asked him. "My 2nd spirit ring didn't get it's own will, but to me it's okay since I don't want my mind to filled with many voice and beast."

Yu Long didn't know why Fang Lin 2nd spirit ring didn't get it's own will, but one possibility crossed his mind.

The person can only get one spirit ring with it's own will.

Xiao Yi standing on the side asked curiously toward Yu Long, "Spirit Ring with it's own will?"

"It's a unique kind of spirit ring with the spirit beast will still intact," Yu Long quickly explained toward Xiao Yi.

Xiao Yi eyes blinked in astonishment after hearing what he said.

"It's Xiao Yi's turn to get her 2nd spirit ring," Yu Long smiled toward Xiao Yi.

"Okay," Xiao Yi gently nodded her head.

"Something stinks..." Fang Lin muttered with a dark face.

His heart ached in jealousy as he watched Yu Long and Xiao Yi.

"I should find my own girl..." Fang Lin eyes burned with determination.

The party then wandered around the Star Dou Forest looking for Xiao Yi's spirit ring.

Thanks to Xiao Yi with them, Yu Long quickly found a suitable spirit beast for her.

He found a large snake with blood-red scales covering it's whole body coilling around a brown tall tree with green leaves.

Yu Long knew that the spirit beast was called Blood Snake thanks to the library inside his mind that held vast amount of information.

Yu Long can now be called YUWIKI.

Looking at the blood snake length, and color it seems it's a 1,200 years old.

The blood snake was known for it's tough scales and it's highly concentrated venom that can form on it's razor sharp tail.

"This spirit beast should be suitable for Xiao Yi," Yu Long said toward Fatty and Xiao Yi.

The three of them summoned their spirit at the same time.

Yu Long took out his iron spear from his pendant and held it firmly with his two hand.

Boom!

His feet planted on the ground as he charged toward the blood snake like a thunderbolt.

Yu Long raised his spear head at his eyes level.

Siiii!

The snake slit eyes narrowed tightly as it's head leaped toward Yu Long with it's mouth opened revealing it's sharp teeth.

Clang!

Yu Long quickly blocked it's sharp Fang with his iron spear and then quickly retreated.

Crack..!

His eyes narrowed as his iron spear showed signs of breaking apart.

<1st Spirit Ring: Star Dragon Thrust>

Xiao Yi suddenly appeared near the blood snake as a faint image of a ethereal crimson dragon rushed out from her spear.

Roar!

Xiao Yi thrust her spear toward the blood snake forehead, but the blood snake dodge narrowly using it's flexible body.

Sii!!!

The blood snake released it's blood-red tongue from it's mouth and hissed furiously.

It's slender, but razor sharp tail glowed in pitch-black.

Swoosh!

The blood snake used is tail like a whip and sent it flying toward Xiao Yi.

<2nd Spirit Ring: Black Turtle Shield>

Two black shield blocked the large tail before it hit Xiao Yi.

Fang Lin had managed to blocked the blood snake tail.

Sizzle..!

But his eyes dilated as the black shield showed some signs of melting his shield.

<1st Spirit Ring: Star Sovereign Transformation>

Yu Long star spirit power flowed and covered his spear entirely.

Flash Kill was much more easy to use and consumed less energy than meteor strike and only needed his star spirit power.

Yu Long used his spirit ring and a weaker spear art since Meteor strike was too consuming to use.

Putch!

Yu Long spear stabed the blood snake in a flash.

Hiss!!!

The blood snake body went berserk as pain assaulted it's whole body.

Crack!

The iron spear cracked spread even more wider.

"Xiao Yi!" Yu Long quickly shouted toward Xiao Yi as his face showed tiredness.

His spirit power was drained as he wasn't able to refill it before due to him in a hurry.

<1st Spirit Ring: Star Dragon Thrust>

Xiao Yi raised her spear and thrusted it toward the blood snake eyes.

The blood red eyes trembled in terror seeing the spear going near it's eyes.

Roar!

Xiao Yi spear glowed intensely as an ethereal crimson eastern dragon devoured the blood snake.

"Latom."

The blood snake took it's last breath and then fell on the ground completely lifeless.

Above the blood snake lifeless body, a large purple ring appeared.

Xiao Yi and Yu Long quickly sat on the ground with their face facing each other.

Yu Long didn't immediately refilled his spirit power since he was gonna help Xiao Yi.

"Xiao Yi, I will place my palm on your belly, okay?" Yu Long said slowly while looking at Xiao Yi's face.

Xiao Yi felt light-headed as she heard what Yu Long said.

"That is so immoral... We ca-can't.." Xiao Yi stuttered while speaking.

"If I don't put my palm on your belly, I will not able to send my spirit power properly."

Xiao Yi then agreed seeing there was no other option in sight.

Yu Long lips slowly curled up as he saw Xiao Yi's red face.

"Having someone you on your belly is certainly embarrassing."

But was that truly the reason that made Xiao Yi's turn bright red?

Xiao Yi quickly absorbed the purple ring of the blood snake causing her to feel her whole body burning intensely.

She felt every inch of her body slowly breaking apart not being able to cope with the berserk energy rampaging inside her body.

Roar!

Xiao Yi then heard a loud roar resounding inside of her. It was her Star Dragon Spear spirit causing the berserk purple ring to somehow be scared, but it was not enough to calm it's berserk energy.

Roar!

Xiao Yi heard another roar inside her as a warm milky liquid entered her body.

The blood snake purple ring slowly turned obedient as it was absolutely suppresed.

Xiao Yi then fully absorbed the purple ring after a minutes had passed.

Hisss...

It was the sound a snake hissing.

Xiao Yi was confused hearing the snake, but remembered the spirit ring with a living will that Yu Long had talked about.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked toward Yu Long infront of him.

Xiao Yi noticed Yu Long face was pale and showed tiredness.

"Are you fine?" Xiao Yi asked worriedly.

"I'm okay!" Yu Long quickly showed a bright smile to somehow hide his pale face.

Xiao Yi lowered her head as she bit her red lips after hearing Yu Long lying.

Xiao Yi knew Yu Long didn't not take a single rest after using his spirit ability for many times and also his spear arts.

"Xiao Yi, what ability did you gain?" Fang Lin asked curiously.

Hearing Fang Lin question, Xiao Yi quickly said her new spirit ability, "It's called Star Dragon Fang."

Xiao Yi unleashed her new 2nd Spirit Ring causing a bright purple ring to hover behind her back.

The crimson spear she was holding released an intense burning heat and the spear head resembled a sharp fang.

Xiao Yi slashed her spear toward a tall tree.

Sizzle!

The tree was cleanly cut in two and was melting under Xiao Yi's burning spear.

Clap! Clap!

Yu Long quickly clap his hand in amazement as he said loudly, "Your 2nd spirit is so good!"

Xiao Yi felt her chest warming up after hearing those words.

"I also gained the spirit ring that have a will," Xiao Yi said as she remembered her spirit ring.

Yu Long knitted his brows hearing that and pondered deeply inside his mind, "Fatty didn't gained a spirit ring with a will, but Xiao Yi obtained one.."

"My first hypothesis might be right! Maybe we can only get one spirit ring with a will?" Yu Long felt enlightened.

"Yu Long you should get a rest first..." Xiao Yi suddenly said toward Yu Long.
