Chapter 16 — Class Battle (1)

Inside his sea of consciousness that was filled with countless image of stars.

In the center of the world, a silver deer with large anthler was looking around confused.

Yu Long appeared and quickly caught the appearance of the Lunar Deer.

He slowly approach the deer without revealing any kind of bad intension.

Soon the Lunar Deer sense Yu Long presence.

The deer released a deep growl at him. Her body was slightly shaking as it's green eyes showed fear and anger.

Yu Long realised this and bite his lips. He felt guilty inside of him.

But that's how the world works..

He took a step forward, "I mean't no harm to you this time," A gentle smile was plastered on his face.

The Lunar Deer did not listen to Yu Long words. She continued to stare at him madly.

Yu Long continued to walk toward the deer, he extended his arm forward.

"I'm sorry," Yu Long said, his eyes showed guilt.

The Lunar Deer was shaken and stared blankly toward Yu Long.

Yu Long was finally close to the Lunar Deer, he extended his finger toward her forehead.

"I'm sorry."

Shingg!!

A silver and crimson light exploded out from the Lunar deers body.

Yu Long was quite surprised but he sensed the light did not bring any harm to her.

Minutes passed inside the Sea of consciousness.

The silver and crimson light covering the Lunar deers body slowly dispersed.

"Wao..." Yu Long was dumbfounded.

He stared infront of him mesmerized.

A beautiful girl appeared before him.

The girl had a flowing silver and crimson hair with a black antlers growing out.

She had an thin black brows, a bright green eyes that was captivating to see. A thin green dress was covering her body.

She was like those fairy from the books he had read.

The girl blankly stared at Yu Long.

"Master..." A soft voice escaped from her mouth.

Yu Long frowned at this word, "What master..?"

He was confused at this sudden development.

The girl slowly fell on Yu Long's arm. She was asleep.

Seeing the weird girl sleeping quietly, Yu Long decided to leave his sea of consciousness.

Yu Long opened his eyes to see Fatty infront of him.

"Oh, you're back," Fatty said surprised while eating meat.

Yu Long nodded and suddenly told Fatty what happened inside his mind.

"A girl somehow appeared inside my mind..." Yu Long awkwardly said.

"Cough!"

Fatty who heard that, choked on the food he eating.

"A girl inside your mind? Then why do I have a fat rhino!?" Fatty gritted his teeth as he said that.

The world was unfair.

"That's not what I want as an answer, but I think because I'm handsome," Yu Long said with a light smile.

"You-!" Fatty roared with his face red.

Yu Long quickly decided to change the topic they were talking about.

"Our spirit rings have souls inside of them. What do we do about it?" Yu Long asked as he crossed his arm.

"I don't know. It did not bring us any harm... so I think it has no problem." Fatty answered after thinking for a while.

"I guess... But it's not a normal spirit ring. What should we call our ring?"

"Hmm... How about Soul rings?" Fatty said after wracking his head for ideas.

Yu Long smiled wryly after hearing that, but in the end he agreed with it.

Yu Long looked at the sky and saw the bright moon.

"It's already night. We should return back to the academy," Yu Long said toward Fatty.

"Okay." Fatty nodded his head as he packed his belongings.

The two of them immediately took the path out of the forest.

Yu Long's eyes moved as he slowly opened them.

The light coming from the small window blinded him for a moment.

Removing the thin blanket covering his body, he sat on his bed as he yawned.

"A battle..." Yu Long quietly muttered. His eyes shined In excitement.

It has been exactly one month since Yu Long and Fatty arrive at the academy.

These weeks were kinda dull and repetitive.

The two of them will wake up and then attend the morning class which teach the elementary knowledge.

To Yu Long who has read a vast amount of books, he already knew about the stuff being taught.

In the afternoon they will clean the garden and classroom and afterward that Yu Long head toward the library to read some books.

When it turn night, Yu Long train on his cultivation, martial arts, and sculpting technique.

As for Fatty, he just cultivate and practice to improve his culinary skills. He had also came to library to read some books about cooking.

Yu Long was currently at Rank 14, he was closed to reaching Rank 15.

Fatty had just advanced to rank 14.

Today was quite special than normal because a joint-class battle will be held later.

Their class will be battling class "D-1"

"Wake up, Fang Li," Yu Long loudly said as he repeatedly tap on Fatty's shoulder.

"Two more minutes..." Fatty grumbled quietly as he turned around.

"This.." Yu Long frowned until a gentle voice sounded inside his mind.

"Master, slap his fat cheeks to effortlessly wake him up!"

"That plan sounds good." Yu Long smiled hearing that plan, "Thank you Luna, but I told you to not call me master."

"But master is master.." Luna pouted cutely

Luna was the Lunar Deer that turned into a cute girl.

Yu Long had to worked hard to make Luna more friendlier these past month and the final result satisfied him.

Slap...!

Yu Long swiftly slap Fatty cheeks although he made it so it will not that hurt too much.

"W-Who!?" Fatty jolted up from his bed and looked around to see who slap him.

"You!? Why did you slap me?" Fatty raised his eyebrow as he looked at Yu Long annoyed.

"Because you won't wake up," Yu Long chucked a little.

"Hurry up or we will be late at class."

"Late?" Fatty looked at the clock on the wall.

His face quickly turned white as he quickly changed into his uniform.

The two of them soon left the dorm and went toward the arena.
