2 Reincarnating

I opened my eyes to see empty darkness and thought to myself

"Am I dead?"

A voice answered in a gentle tone

"No, child for your merits I shall allow you to reincarnate in another world "

The voice continued in a calm and domineering tone this time

" The world you shall reincarnate into is Soul Land. Child, which era would you like me to reincarnate you into? "

I was unsure of what I should say because the amount of pressure and danger this was being exerted was far greater than the amount of pressure and danger that the God++ rank beast caused me to feel during the battle.

I gathered up the courage and asked the being in a very polite tone so as not to offend it

" Could you give the details of the world and the timelines in which I can reincarnate into? "

The voice chuckled and said

" I seem to have forgotten that you aren't from the original universe and don't fear me child although I am very powerful I won't harm you. "

All of a sudden I got a splitting headache and passed out. I wake up later not knowing the amount of time has passed since I passed out and look around to see the same empty darkness thinking that maybe I am dead.

" Child, I am impressed by your mental resilience, " said the voice in a glad tone

What does this entity mean by that I wonder still feeling uncomfortable due to the place I'm in and fearful and wary due to the amount of pressure and danger that I feel due to the unknown voice I am interacting with.

" I mean that most children who experienced that ended up going insane and I had to repair their mind however you didn't go insane which is quite the feat. Oh, and it seems that you have quite a keen sense of being able to pick up my power even though I am hiding it. I will change the scenery and appear physically so that we can chat for a while I haven't had someone to chat with for quite a while, " said the voice

I hear a click and the empty darkness becomes an open lush green environment with the fresh smell of flowers and other plants. The new landscape was very refreshing and soon after the change in the world occurred there was a beautiful young girl who looked to be in her late teens just like me but her aura and appearance were so captivating that it was almost intoxicating. She had long black hair and was only wearing some casual clothing but she had an imposing and majestic aura, her skin tone was a peach colour close to white and her eyes were golden emphasizing her majestic aura while being a contrast to her black hair.

" I'm glad that you like my appearance and the new scenery so why don't we have a chat and don't worry about formalities or offending me. " said the voice however this time I could tell that it was a female voice and the voice was very pleasant

" If you don't mind then could you possibly stop reading my mind and stop calling me child? " I asked in a more casual tone

" Sure, It seems that I forgot that humans like their privacy " she responded

" What is your name? " I implored politely

" I don't think I have one the humans who come here usually just refer to me as Goddess so refer to me as whatever you would like to," she said

" Goddess would you mind if I gave you a name " I queried in a modest tone

" Sure, but make sure it is a good name," she said with a bit of sternness

" How about the name Astrea, it means starry night since you have black hair like a pitch black night and golden eyes that shine like stars," I asked her

" Sure, I quite like the name Astrea," she replied

" Could you answer one of my questions?" I asked her

" It depends on what the question is " she answered

" I want to know why dungeons and monsters appeared in my once peaceful world," I asked her

" The cause of that was the doing of the other gods I cannot delve into specifics but I'll give you a few gifts for keeping me company and giving me a name. Also, I'll send you to another world before Soul Land and give you a mission there for you to obtain a useful ally. Well then goodbye child I'll see you when you become much stronger " Astrea responded, her tone turning serious and quiet.

"Before you send me off, I've decided that I want you to reincarnate me into Soul Land 2," I informed her before my departure.
