Monsters are divided into 12 ranks: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, Legendary, Mythical, and God. Ranks are divided into lowest, low, mid, high, and highest. Example: F-, F, F+. We also divide monsters into two categories which are normal monsters and boss monsters. There is a substantial power difference between a normal monster and a boss monster. It would take a well-coordinated group of 6 or more hunters of the same rank to kill a boss monster of their rank whereas a hunter of the same rank as a normal monster can kill 4-5 by himself.

Karna was someone who was born and lived in a world of hunters and when a child turned 6 they would take an awakening test to awaken their superpower, Karna awakened with the superpower Luck, the lowest possible rank, F-. Disappointed, he cherished it nonetheless, grateful that he had a superpower, unlike some unlucky individuals.

Even though he had awakened the lowest rank superpower he strived towards his goal of becoming the strongest hunter as well as his wish to kill every monster and beast. With his patience, perseverance and resolve he finally managed to become the strongest and only God-rank hunter by the young age of 18 even though his innate superpower wasn't very helpful his talent as a hunter was extraordinary. However, he had no idea that this achievement would lead to a disastrous consequence.

Upon reaching the God rank, a voice announced the impending arrival of a God+ rank boss. Panic ensued as the top hunters were called to confront it. Everyone was in a panic before this announcement monster and beasts were always inside the portal and could only cause damage to the actual world if the portal wasn't raided for a very long time but now it could cause very heavy damage to the actual world and there was only one God rank hunter and he wasn't even of the same rank as the boss.

The boss posed a unique challenge, unlike the monsters confined to portals before. Underestimating the boss, Karna and the other hunters faced severe consequences. Most were wiped out, leaving only a few survivors, including Karna. Of the remaining people most of us were severely injured and couldn't fight. However, it chased us relentlessly so we hid and couldn't do anything while it laid waste to our world. By the time we had completely recovered there were almost no humans left in the process of slowly killing the boss by attacking it and retreating to recover caused everywhere they went to become a but he was left alone in the world even his friends who were Myth rank hunters perished in the raid.

After he completed the raid he was in a very injured state even a normal person could kill him but alas there was no one left alive. In the aftermath, a sense of danger gripped Karna. His instincts, honed through countless dungeon raids, warned him. Looking up, he saw a meteorite hurtling toward him, triggering a rare feeling of hopelessness and helplessness.

After understanding the situation he thought that the injuries from the raid were too grave for him to survive much longer anyway so the appearance of the meteor didn't make much of a difference. With injuries grave and survival uncertain, Karna turned to his inventory. Among various items, he found a 'Nameless Stone.' Unfamiliar with it, he decided to use his innate talent and break the stone, hoping for a chance at survival before losing consciousness.
