7 chapter seven

she reluctantly got up from the bed  into the bathroom to take her bath and after finishing up, Ivanna left to the store

She sat down behind the counter, as she attends to customers with a weary face.

"Urgh!! God seems to be out punishing me, seeing today doesn't want to come to an end" Ivanna grumbles, laying her head, tiredly on the counter.

After a long day at the store, she runs home in hopes of getting rest and while going home, Ivanna was ambushed by a man who tried snatching her purse,  threatening her with a pocket knife.

Ivanna feared for her life, as she tries to clam the thief down, but she was adamant, not to make a mistake.

" Give me your purse" the thief glamoured, holding a knife at Ivanna, as she moves back to a avoid getting hurt.

When suddenly, Darick came to her rescue,  as he drives the thief away.

" Are you okay?" he said, peeking anxiously

I am fine, thanks to you", Ivanna replied back, with a hug.

"What you doing here"

" at this time," she asked gazing at him.

" Nothing much"

" Just wanted to take a stroll around town" he replied back to her.

"Which am glad you did" Ivanna replied crossing her arm over his, while they walk.

" I didn't get your name, the last time I came to the store," Darick said.

" Oh yes"

"My name is Ivanna Torres" she replied back to him.

"Wow, a beautiful name for a beautiful lady" he mumbled, thus turning her face red, as he also tells her his name, which of cause she already knows.

"Pleasure meeting you" Ivanna altered, pulling her hand for a shake, as they continued walking.

Darick decided to walk her home in fear of her safety, thus bringing her back in save hands.

Home sweet home princess" he said glaring at her with a smirk on his face.

Thank you" she replied, waving him, as she walks off inside the house.

Ivanna closed the door behind her and rested on it, reminiscing her walk with Darick, In Ivanna's head, she thought it was a sign from God, thus he sent Darick to her rescue.

Maybe it was just a coincidence, Darick happened to be there, Ivanna didn't think of that possible Option.

After dinner she goes off to her room, as she sits on the couch, smiling non-stop.

"How do I make Darick notice me" Ivanna mumbled thinking of a way to entice him, stroking her chin.

"Hmm, this one your thinking hope all is okay" Juliana altered behind her, holding a box of pizza with her.

"It's nothing, Ivanna said giggling, as she stands up from the couch, to where her sister stood.

"You bought pizza" she mumbled dragging it from her sister's hands, and hops on top of the bed.

"Hey, wait for me", Juliana said, rushing to her, thus both devour a whole pizza.
