18 chapter eighteen

Ivanna laid down, recalling the words of her sister and if only she went to school, it wouldn't have hurt her the way it does now.

"You okay" Mrs. Torres altered standing at the entrance of her room.

"May I come in?" she asked, but Ivanna didn't say a word as she turns in the opposite direction away from her.

"I'll take that as a Yes" she muttered, thus walked in and sat next to her.

"My motherly instinct tells me something is wrong" Mrs. Torres let out but Ivanna was still engulfed by the harsh words of her younger sister.

"Tell me what's going on" Mrs. Torres ordered her, as she dragged Ivanna up from the bed

"It's nothing mom" she muttered to her but her expression was so dull, which gave her mom the impression that she was lieing.

"If you don't want to talk to me not a problem," Mrs. Torres said, as she walks off but was halted by Ivanna's sudden question.

"Am I dumb Mom" Ivanna raised a question, as she hugged her mom from behind.

"Who told you that" she uttered, as she whirls to face Ivanna in tears.

" It's just that, I didn't agree to further my studies and it feels like am good for nothing" she let out, with tears rolling from her eyes.

" Your not" Mrs. Torres altered, as she dragged her to the mirror, glaring at both reflections.

" Look at us, I gave birth to the most beautiful girl, that why I named you Ivanna, your birth brought a lot of joy same goes with your sister"

" Although you didn't like going to school, no one's blames you for it but remember going to school doesn't define who we are," Mrs. Torres said, igniting fireworks through her, as Ivanna glared at her reflection in the mirror.

"You're better than this" she muttered, as she pinned a kiss on Ivanna's cheeks, thus she walks off from there.

" Mom is right, going to school doesn't define who you are" Ivanna mumbled to herself, pining a weak smile on her face.

Thus the next morning, Juliana got up early for work, as she came down for breakfast.

"You quite early this day's" Mrs. Torres altered, as Ivanna glared at her sister.

" Yes, mom this day's, working as become more interesting" Juliana replied back to her, with a devious smile on.

Mrs. Torres noticed the distance between her daughter's, but couldn't place her fingers to where the problem laid. Hence none of them was willing to talk, she decided to pay close scrutiny to her daughters.

If I was Mrs. Torres and I get to find out that my prides were fighting for a man, I'll literally kill Darick and toss his body at the bottom of the lagoon.

What? Don't judge me, everyone, as their way of dealing with problems that was mine but I wonder what Mrs. Torres would do when she finally Knows the Truth behind the sudden bad blood between her daughter's.
