3 Did someone say trouble?
Year 2012
In the east side of the Saharan desert, only the endless ocean of sand can be seen streching as far as the eyes can see. It is completely barren except for the occasional cactus and scorpions. In this vast desert 4 people can be seen walking in search of something.
The 1st person is a tall, muscular, handsome caucasian male with short black hair and blue eyes. The weird thing is that he is walking in the desert while only wearing blue jeans and a short sleeved black T-shirt with a big red 'S' symbol in the middle as if the heat has no effect on him.
The 2nd person is also a tall, muscular, caucasian male with short black hair and blue eyes but those eyes were hidden behind a black domino mask. Unlike the 1st person, this guy is wearing a black unitard, black shoulder pads, boots and gloves. The chest area of his uniform is imprinted with a blue bird with its wings expanded and his abdomen area is colored in a lighter gray.
The 3rd person is short, has a pale green complexion with green eyes and messy dark green hair. He is wearing a red and white single piece uniform.
The last person is a curvaceous woman with medium length wavy black hair and bright cyan colored eyes with a slender build. She is wearing a white single-breasted shirt with a bow tie, a black jacket and a black skirt. These 4 people are well known superheroes called Suberboy, Nightwing, Beast boy, and Zatanna respectively.
"Are you sure there's an evil satanic cult hidden somewhere around here Zatanna?This is an open desert, where could they possibly be hiding. This heat is killing me, I could really use some water or pizza right now." Complained Beast Boy.
"Don't worry Beast Boy we're almost there, I can feel slight traces of illusion magic over there near that sand hill." replied Zatanna as she pointed to a sand hill a few meters away from them.
As soon as they reached the sand hill Zatanna said "noisulli lepsid" (dispel illusion) and suddenly at lower part of the hill, a rocky cave entrance is revealed.
"Okay before we enter, Zatanna will stand in front so she can detect and dispell any magic traps, I will cover the backside incase someone tries to sneak up on us. Beast boy and Super boy will be in the middle to support each side depending on the situation." Nightwing, the team's leader instructed them.
The 3 nodded in agreement with Nightwing's team setup and slowly entered. Though once they entered they felt like they passed a transparent film.
"That was a silence boundary, they hid it really well. I didn't expect an illusion on top of an illusion to hide it." Informed Zatanna.
As they slowly entered deeper into the cave they started to hear noises from the deeper end of the cave.
"Shit, they might be starting a ritual. Let's hurry to stop it." Nightwing urgently told them.
Meanwhile inside the deepest part of the cave, 3 people stood each infront of 3 different pillars which are covered in complicated runes and symbols. While 2 more stood outside said circle of pillars. All of 5 of them wore blood-red hooded robes. One however stood out with the golden symbols on his robe and the white wooden horns attached to the hood. This guy was obviously the leader of these four. He looked at them and said.
"My brothers, it's time to start the ritual. Although the rest of our cult has been killed or captured, they bought us enough time finish our purpose. To bring the red death upon this cursed world. Now let us proceed."
Together the 5 cultists started to loudly chant
"By three they come
By three thy way opens
By the blood of the willing
Hail the destroyer
Hail the embodiment of evil
From the abyss of hell we seek thy salvation
By three they come
By three thy way opens
By the blood of the willing
We call thee home
Hail lord of destruction
Harbinger of the end
Blessed lord Trigon save us"
As they finished their chant, the 3 men standing infront the pillars floated and were inverted upside down as they stuck onto the pillars.Blood slowly leaked from their foreheads as a giant triangle with a pentagram in the middle slowly formed. As the triangle was almost complete, 3 batarangs landed on the pillars and blew up, destroying the pillars.
"NOOOOOOOO, WHO'S THE BASTARD THAT DID THAT?!?" The leader raged as he looked around to see 4 people standing near the exit.
Superboy immediately flew and punched the cultist that's next to the leader sending straight to the wall rendering him unconscious. Meanwhile Zatanna was using her magic to prevent the 3 men on the pillars from dying. Beast boy turned into a gorilla and lunged towards the leader with Nightwing supporting him from behind. They easily managed to subdue them since they were just normal humans with barely any magic. However due to destroying the pillars, the ritual is now unstable as the pentagram started crackling with red lighting and became a sphere that was growing to almost half the room.
"Guys, are we in trouble for randomly destroying a demon summoning ritual?" Beast boy questioned.
Right after saying that the ball of energy dispersed revealing a handsome and beautiful duo posing weirdly, yet that pose had a certain allure to it. One of them then asked. (Image)
