History

'Huh! Why do I sense a pull from him? What exactly is this sensation?' Jun Mey pondered, leaning back in her seat. 'That blue eyes seem infinite, like never-ending water.'

While stealing a glance at Nuan Mei, Jun Mey adjusted her posture.

The jolly Nuan Mei hasn't noticed the things Jun Mey had observed. She was busy flailing her arms.

'I feel like he stared at me strangely,' Jun Mey reasoned.

While Jun Mey battled with her thoughts, Bingwen Deli was absorbed in his ruse. He didn't find the new guy pleasing.

'I don't like the thought of this person sitting next to my beloved Mey,' Deli mused, frowning. 'I'll hate it if he destroys this atmosphere I've barely created for my ruse.'

Xia Wuya's thoughts raced when he observed Bingwen Deli's look. 'I can cause some trouble if I create evidence of Mey having affairs and sex with the new guy,' Xia Wuya mused, her hands clenched.

Xia Wuya wanted to increase the friction between Bingwen Deli and Jun Mey so she could effectively replace her in the relationship. She could also harm her in the process. After all, every student loved and admired Jun Mey.

The lecture was long and tedious, especially Chung Dong's panting voice. The students found most of his speech confusing too.

People rushed out of the class immediately after Chung Dong ended his lectures. They felt pumped to ride on the activities provided by the school administrators. Because, like every other school, there's liveliness on the campus.

'What can't she do? She's like a ferret: very mischievous,' Jun Mey wondered, maintaining a calm expression.

Nuan Mei was busy using her left elbow to prod Chi An, who tried to angle away from her. But she was like a cankerworm: she won't budge.

'She'll bother the new guy to death,' Jun Mey wondered, unaware of the reason for her excitement.

After some thought, Jun Mey rose, ready to leave.

"Mey, where are you going?" Nuan Mei asked, reluctantly leaving Chi An to breathe. She leaped and jumped towards Jun Mey, but she evaded her.

"I'd want to investigate something that has been bothering me for some time," Jun Mey said, not elaborating.

"Like what?" Nuan Mei crossed her right arm on Jun Mey's shoulders, oblivious to any worry.

"I'll return after I've finished it," Jun Mey said, trying to shake her off. She had learned to condone Nuan Mei because she might look innocent, but she was supportive. However, she decided against telling Nuan Mei her plan at that point.

"But...," Nuan Mei said, suddenly stopping her dancing.

But Jun Mey interrupted her, "you can go home without me if I don't return on time."

However, when she approached the exit, she came to a halt.

"Mei, I am aware of your excellent networking skills. Therefore, I would like you to...," Jun Mey said, steadying her eyes on the doorpost like it was alive.

"I know what you mean. Don't worry yourself," Nuan Mei suddenly interrupted Jun Mey.

"Woohoo! I'm setting someone on fire," Nuan Mei jumped. 'That guy had annoyed my Mey,' Nuan Mei mused, sticking out her tongue at Bingwen Deli.

"Who knows what disaster this girl will cause," Jun Mey mumbled, shaking her head controllably.

{The library.}

After discussing a few topics with Nuan Mei, Jun Mey went to the library.

As Jun Mey strolled along the path by the library, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong with her body. "I feel strange," she mused, "as if something menacing has been staring at me."

When Jun Mey started at Ma Liu University, she had a tough time because strange entities stalked her. The situation worsened, and she eventually reported it to her foster parents. To her surprise, they solved this problem using an unusual oil and a necklace not found anywhere else. Jun Mey now found herself haunted again by these things, and she calmly contemplated her options.

Going to the front of the library was a breathtaking experience. The enormous and imposing structure never failed to give Jun Mey an incredible feeling, even though she had visited before. She felt that it deserved a standing ovation for its sheer beauty.

As Jun Mey stood in a trance, admiring the building, someone collided with her. The creature seemed to be attracted to her scent, which it savored. Judging from the creature's obvious pleasure, Jun Mey realized it was unlikely to forget her fragrance anytime soon.

As that person looked back and feigned an apology, he surreptitiously captured Jun Mey's profile. It became apparent that his primary intention was to photograph Jun Mey's face rather than to offer an apology.

Stealing a glimpse from the man, Jun Mey discovered the person's eyes gleamed chartreuse (golden green) and his voice gruff.

Even though the sight seemed unsettling, Jun Mey didn't worry because it was a public place, and even a beast had to be courteous. However, she could sense his eagerness.
