Chapter 3: Hot Boss

Mr Nathan Thorne, the CEO of Thorne. Inc, the most popular company in the country. If one asks who the richest man is, they would say, "Nathan Thorne."

He has held the Morbes title of the World Richest Man for six years now and it seemed this year wasn't going to be any different.

This man was hot, smoking hot! He had black hair that fluttered in the wind, his beautiful phoenix eyes could stare into your soul and probably see all your secrets. He was tall, so damn tall, and the body that was hidden under his clothes were divine.

He was...

"Miss Neveah? Are you listening to me?" Nathan tilted his head and smirked, his canines perked out from his lips and Neveah's heart skipped a beat.

Why was he so hot? She should be screaming and crying after she just had a breakup but instead, she was here simping for a hot man who barely even knew her!

"Miss Neveah? Do I have something on my face?"

"Yes, handsomeness." Neveah mumbled out and promptly blushed. This was so cringe! How could she have said something like this?

"I... I'm sorry, I wasn't in my right senses! I was just so shocked that my handsome boss spoke to me... Uh, I mean my ugly! Oh, you're not ugly, I was just saying... Ugh, I should keep quiet now." Neveah groaned. She prayed for the ground to open up and swallow her because she was dying from this embarrassment.

Nathan chuckled, he seemed amused but just that action made me go into a daze once more. No one had never seen him laugh.

"Is that so? Anyways, please park you car correctly, I need to drive out, you're blocking my way."

She blushed in embarrassment, I remembered that I was in the middle of the parking lot. His cold voice brought me back to reality and I nodded frantically.

"I... I'm sorry!"

He nodded and moved away, allowing Neveah to park my car in another space. The moment Neveag did that, he drove outside without another word, leaving her alone in the huge parking lot.

Neveah pouted. Even though he is hot, he has the reputation of being the most arrogant man in all of history. Not only was he a jerk, but he also liked to make his employees slaves.

"All of us work out ass out just to make him satisfied and yet, we barely manage to pass the high bars he set for all of us! Arghh!" Neveah groaned into her hands, the issue about her breakup not forgotten but put at the back of her mind.

"I need to find a new house, I can't stay in that house anymore. No matter what, I can't get back together with him." Neveah murmured to herself.

She was pained, it wasn't something she ever expected. Her boyfriend and sister, they had been sleeping together for such a long time and she never knew about it.

Not just that, Lily was also being shameless about it. She didn't feel remorse, she only thought that she was doing Neveah a favour?

"Somehow, I'm thankful that I didn't get pregnant. Even though I might be infertile, it's still better than getting married to a jerk like him. Oh gosh, maybe God helped me! If I had gotten married to him..." Neveah shivered. She didn't want to think about it.

"Ah... It would be better to take my things from that house, even though I paid for it. Wait...I wonder how they'll be able to continue the payment for the house, it would be pretty funny to see the landlord come to collect rent and they wouldn't be able to pay up." Neveah laughed as she drove out of the parking lot.

She didn't notice the car that was parked just right behind. Nathan glanced at the car that drove out and then took another glance at his phone.

His eyes narrowed when he saw the message that had just entered. His lips pulled into a frown when he read through and a low groan burst out from his throat.

"You'd better find a woman to get married to within the next one month or else, you will never be able to inherit everything, your brother might just take it away from you. Look at what the rumors say about you!" In the message, there was a link included and Nathan clicked in it, another news headline about him being gay popped up and he almost laughed.

For so many years, these kinds of rumors had been flying around. Ever since he dated Top Actress Hayley and broke up with her, he had never dated anyone else.

People then began to spread rumors that he broke up with her just because he was gay and disliked women.

Nathan scoffed, turning his steering wheel sharply, "If only they know how much of an obsessive woman she is." He murmured to himself.
