9 Change

Jiang Xia woke up from the sound of loud screeching scream but she had a smile in her lips because she knew what exactly what it was. She took her time to wash up and adjust her facial expression before opening the door of her room and went down the stairs slowly.

When she reached the living room. She her fathers expression filled with anger and shame. Her step mother crying in one corner and her sister still screaming and complaining.

"Ahhh! father you must call the police. Who did this? I must see that persons face and kill him myself. My dress is ruined, now what will i wear to the party. Its my birthday but my day is starting like this. Why? Dad you must do something. Why are you just sitting there like a statue. Mom, say something to dad. Look he is just sitting" bla bla bla

Jiang yu didn't saw her dad's expression changing with the every word coming out of her mouth but her mother did so she hurriedly interrupted her daughter from complaining further.

"My daughter stop, don't talk anymore. Its not that your father is doing nothing. He is devasted seeing the house. Look around the thief has taken everything valuable and thrashed other things besides he has already sent people to get cctv footage. *sigh* Jiang Xia has just come yesterday and this has happened. Now what will she think about us. She must think we are unlucky people and cannot takecare of her mother's house."

Huang ya finished of her sentence by bring Jiang Xia to the conversation hinting her to be the unlucky and reminding her father that everything he has now was given by his ex wife. And sure enough her words worked like a magic as Mr Jiang's expression change to more of shame.

Jiang Xia saw through Huang ya's plan at a glace so she stopped her from saying anything further.

"Father let's call the police. Everything is thrashed and stolen. We can't just stand here all day besides today is sister's birthday. I just heard her dress is destroyed and tonight is the party. Everyone is already invited. How will we clean the whole house, replace everything inside to new and decorate it. We won't have enough time." Her words were like a wakeup call to every one in the room.

Thinking of the party tonight they started panicking.

At this time the servent that went to get cctv footage came witha grave expression.

"Sir the cctv didn't record anything. It seems it was turned off."

Hearing this Mr Jiang's expression became more worst. And finally he spoke

"Someone must be targeting me. It must be business rival.

They must want to show me in a bad light to harm my business since all my business partner and potential business partner are invited to the party. Ha do they think i will go down just like this. No I will just change the party location to the hotel with the help of my friends."

Hearing this Jiang Xia was quite surprised. She didn't think her father had this much of brain and if he had then why is he so stupid. Any way if she could cause trouble once then she could do it again so leave it.

"But father what about my birthdays dress. Where would I find one this fast." Before she could talk more her mother quickly interrupted her as she didn't want to anger her husband more lest he takes his anger on them.

"Honey we will do something about it. Don't worry i will help but first we need to decide something for this place. May be call a cleaner or something or find out who did this."

Hearing this her husband said

" no are you stupid. We can't call the police otherwise what will happen to my reputation. I won't even be able to show my face to the world. Its shamefull but call the cleaner and replace everything in the house in the name of change and renovation. Be careful words shouldnot go out or i will hold you accountable. Meanwhile I will make arrangement for tonight."

" yes my dear i will handle here. Go do whatever needs to be done."

With that Mr Jiang went out of the house to make arrangements and Huang ya started ordering the servent around ignoring jiang xia.

Even jiang yu started calling her friends to inform the change of location and complain.

Seeing everyone ignoring her jiang xia didn't say anything and just went out with her small bag.
