She then found a job as a flower shop worker and with the help of the handsome flower shop owner, she got to live in a rich condo. Jiang Lin, being the innocent girl that she was, didn't notice how she had gotten to live in the condo and was just happy with her current life. But in fact, the flower shop owner was one of the biggest business owners in the capital. He had noticed her tearful innocent eyes when she was kicked out of the orphanage by the new orphanage director and fell in love with her. He spied on the places she went to and noticed that she was looking for a job and a home. Shu Mo, the disguised flower shop owner decided to get close to her by being her boss and providing a home. Jiang Lin, being happy with her new life, often went back to the orphanage and volunteered as a caretaker. But the new orphanage director, Li Bai, didn't want her around. Li Bai insulted her and slapped her as Jiang Lin tried to come back to see her siblings. Shu Mo, noticing this, contacted some people to find out more about Li Bai and found out some stuff. Li Bai was a rare intersexual who could get pregnant. So Shu Mo hired some thugs to rape Li Bai. Li Bai committed suicide after he found out that he became pregnant. Jiang Lin found out about it and confronted Shu Mo since she still trusted that he was a good person. Shu Mo eventually admitted that he had been hiding his identity and that he had done that to Li Bai because he loved her. Jiang Lin had also confessed her love to him after she heard his confessions. Jiang Lin and Shu Mo soon married, lived happily ever after and became one of the top businessmen in the world.]

Lu Feng frowned.

"Let me guess, I'm the new orphanage director?"

[427: Wow host is so smart!]

"Smart my ass! The cannon fodder being replace by a transmigrator is such an obvious guess!" he angrily retorted.

Li Bai Age: 21 Male

An indoor person who is soft at heart but acts mean on the outside. A tsundere. His real identity is the son of a famous CEO who is planning to collaborate with Shu Mo. He has two little sisters who are twins and loves kids. He has tried to live normally and no one knows his true identity because he hasn't attended any of the parties that he was invited to. Li Bai's mother died of brain cancer when he was 7. He didn't talk much to his father after his mother died, so their relationship is not very close. But his father still cared for him very much and was devastated when his son killed himself. Li Bai moved out of the family mansion and only contacted his sisters when he turned 18. Going to college, and eventually finding the job he wanted to keep forever - an orphanage director -, he was very satisfied before he found out something horrible about Jiang Lin.

His personality is similar to yours, so you won't have OOC moments I presume.]

"Jiang Lin seems to be not the innocent girl that's described in the plot."

[427: I cannot answer that question. But please do your best! Call for me whenever my service is needed. The Overseer gave me a vacation, so I might not be able to answer immediately though. Well, bye for now, dear host!]

"Ah, wait!" Lu Feng anxiously shouted but he couldn't hear the familiar system's voice anymore.

Lu Feng looked around his environment.

It was a small but clean room with grey walls. The interior design was simple but modern and it suited him very well.

'I should be in my own room in the orphanage. There are so many plot holes and no description of my current situation... Sigh, fuck you, Overseer!'

"Hey! I'm doing my best here! Stop cursing at me! Anyways, you're in your room/office. It's 6 o'clock and you're supposed to be waking the 40 kids up and cooking breakfast. If it was anybody else, they'd still cry over their points, but Lu Feng, having never been proficient in cooking thought it was fine to actually gain some skills.

He bought it instantly and foreign memories came into his mind.

"I'll actually be able to cook now!" he happily exclaimed. Lu Feng had always felt bad that he made Meng Wei do everything for him, so he was very happy to be able to do something that Meng Wei could do.

"I'm supposed to wake up the children right? And there seems to be 40 of them? Well, it seems to be a huge orphanage..." muttered Lu Feng as he looked at the records for all 40 of the children. He found Lai Jing's new body's information as well. He memorized all the insurance records, medical records, and files that each child had so that nothing would be out of place. Lu Feng also looked into the notes that the old director had written for each child, about their preferences and dislikes. He memorized it and found out that Jiang Lin was not very liked by the children in the old director's notes. She was said to be avoided at all costs by the children.

'Something strange is going on here...'

"Whatever, I'll go wake those kids up," hyped Lu Feng.

He walked out of his room and slowly wandered the halls

Lu Feng slowly gained the memories of Li Bai and remembered that he used to knock on the doors of every child.

Unlike his previous time of gaining memories, it felt like he gained something back that he had lost before. It definitely wasn't painful but more like satisfying.

Lu Feng knocked on each child's door. This truly was a big orphanage. It was one of the richest orphanages in the country since many people donated. This was the reason why it was so modern and every child could have their own room.

Lu Feng knocked at every door and each child groaned as they came out of their room. When Lu Feng was about to knock Xu Ye's door, the kid, who was now a 16 year old smiled brightly with a knowing look and winked at Lu Feng when he went out of his room. Lu Feng merely chuckled at that, making the children wide-eyed. Their new director was nice and a little strict at times but he never smiled or laughed like that. They questioningly looked at Xu Ye who was unusually peppy today.

The next room was the room of a problem child, Jing Mu. This kid was a boy who was 18 and about to move out. He had a mysterious background and was well cared for, as his donations were the highest. But he was introverted and seemed to have a high passion for music. Lu Feng was quite curious about the child since Jing Mu was mentioned as a sweet kid in the old director's notes. Was it puberty that had turned him into an emo kid?

Lu Feng knocked and heard nothing from the room.

"Jing Mu? Are you awake?" he asked from outside the room.

The door opened quickly and Jing Mu came out.

He was half naked with only his briefs on.

"I was showering" was his bland reply.

Lu Feng could only reply with an "oh" just before the door closed again.

'Strange kid.'

Lu Feng proceeded to wake all the other kids up and didn't notice the slightly opened door of Jing Mu.

Jing Mu peeked out and spied at his new director.

'He only knocked before and never asked if I was awake. And he even looked surprised when I came out of the shower. What happened to him?'

After waking everyone up, even Jiang Lin, Lu Feng hurried to the kitchen to try out his newly found skills.

After making 40 meals of fried rice, rice noodles, wontons, dumplings, congee, scallion pancakes, and side dishes, Lu Feng was very satisfied with his cooking skills.

'I can actually cook for once!' he exclaimed in his heart joyfully.

The kids were even more weirded out now.

They just usually had youtiao and soy milk. What was with this feast in the morning?!
