16 The Storm After the Rainbow

The US government did not allow the citizens in the government bunkers to come out because they were worried that the danger had not yet passed.

They hurriedly built the bunker before the meteorite could pass by Earth. They wanted every citizen to be sheltered safely.

The big metal suitcase was going to be in the underground bunker regardless, so the protection was good enough.

He packed and sat in front of his TV while still scrolling on his phone for the latest information. His laptop was already moved to the bunker.

The TV stations were still broadcasting live from NASA and the rescue operation. Although it was still a global broadcast, the news content now showed broadcasters in their respective studios. Unlike previously when they only showed visuals from NASA and the spacecraft.

Meanwhile, the Russians had arrived at their destination, they were ready to face this meteorite.
