A Snakes Betrayal

"Hmph as always, wizards physically weak and prone to fear. Typical trash. 3rd rate garbage will never survive in our new world. Hopefully, Saludron will prove to be an exception," The entity ridiculed his palm now facing the two wizards. The entity staring at the mother of Salazar ripped her heart out and crushed it in his hand.

The garden once blushing with life burned the roses and tulips turning dark and ashen. The life now within the forest degraded at an astronomical rate the sky starting to darken faster and faster.

"Mother! I'll kill you, four bastards!" Salazar screeched his wand out ready to strike the dark entities down. Godric also arming his weapon got into position his sword and wand positioned to face the four figures.

The entity now revealing himself showed to be a middle-aged man his eye seemly peering into the dark dimension. Wearing dark ebony armour he held a sword emitting a twilight shade on his right with his left hand holding his helmet it's design similar to that of a templar.

Though the helmet seemed to be warped with horns poking from the top and side. With a jawline so sharp it could cut steel he commanded his companions to reveal themselves. With pitch-black eyes, they sneered at the two wizards scoffing at the size of their wands. Wearing Violet armoured robes they brandished their sceptres. The sceptres stood at 100cm with the handle made of dark oak wood wrapped in gold holding a dark crystal on top of it.

"You'll pay for what you did! I'll kill you then I'll slaughter your master myself!" Salazar screeched.

"A young wizard really dares to go against the Dark Lord himself? And a trash one at that. How foolish. Comrades, remove the one in yellow, we'll need to capture Saldurons' son. Dormammu commands it," The sorcerer smiled. His hands flaring with dark mystical energy. Seeing the swirling energy, Godric struck first.

"Sliperumous!" Godric stated causing one of the dark sorcerer to slip and bang his head on the ground. The dark caster attempting to get up slipped again and again. The others blasting their spells towards the two were blocked by Salazar who was pushed back by every blast. Though Godric unwavering blocked their blasts with his Ward the force only being a slight nuisance.

"Such trickery! RELEASE ME FROM THIS CURSE!" The Dark sorcerer replied frustrated with his every step causing him to immediately fall on his back.

"You bastards I'll slaughter you! Avada Kedavra!" Salazar replied blasting the spell towards the fallen sorcerer only for the spell to be blocked by the Eldritch Knight who shook his head at the stressed sorcerer.

"It seems I've underestimated you two," The eldritch Knight muttered.

"Salazar we must retreat these monstrosities are powerful. My curse will only last for so long," Godric replied the sorcerers now more cautious to the two.

"No! We must kill these Murders! If you're too scared to fight back then I'll slaughter them myself!" Salazar spat his wand sending spells to the four sorcerers who block his spell with trouble.

"Bah! Even fools know when to back down from a fight. We must leave at once!" Godric replied pulling Salazar and ripping a portal in space. Jumping through with the unwilling Slytherin they ran away.

"Should we chase after them?" A dark sorcerer asked towards the Eldritch Knight.

"No... We have to move, now is not the time. The sorcerer supreme must be on his way now. It's better we regroup. My energy supplies are also withering for me to keep up this domain barrier. Besides, you should remember any high tier casts will alert the old man. Soon Avalon will return to its rightful ruler," The Eldritch Knight asserted his hands raised to the sky as he forced Gosrick and Salduron to appear. Gosrick on his knee stood mortally wounded his arms and back covered in burn marks. Salduron on the other hand was exhausted to the point of passing out.

"Hmph as expected... Finish him Salduron," The Eldritch Knight mocked Gosrick being held down by the other three.

"Do it," The Eldritch Knight asserted his glare piercing through Saldurons soul.

Salduron staring at his old comrade paused his hand hovering over the dagger that was still indebted in Gosricks arm.

"You don't have to do this old friend... There is still a way..." Gosrick muttered his voice ever so diminishing. His eyes now wavering his vision started to let him go.

"You betrayed my trust many moons ago when you fell in love with that muggle Gosrick. Today you face retribution!" Salduron raged his dagger slashing the throat of Gosrick. Gurgling blood his body was dropped to the ground spasming before slowly stopping. Gosrick finally embracing death stared at the man he once trusted. Salazar picking up Gosricks wand held onto it keeping it as a trophy.

"You've done well but your son still remains, once you have slain him you will be blessed by Dormanuu himself but for now... You will follow us. The construction of Dormammu's pillars still need to be created," The eldritch Knight revealed before opening a large portal. The other seeing it followed suite leaving Salduron staring at the corpse of his wife.

"Second thoughts?" The Eldritch knight asked his hand still on his blade.

"No," Salduron replied his eyes turning to face the portal head straight.

The duo teleporting outside of the Slytherins castle tumbled down the hill. Crashing down near a tree they slowly regained their senses. Looking up they saw the sky was back to normal the Manor though fogged in a dark mist.

"Why did you bring me Godric! I would have slaughtered them all!" Salazar spat his body attempting to get up but was quickly pushed down due to the disorientating trip.

"Are you a fool? Would you have rather died?" Godric argued his legs struggling to get a footing but was halted due to the stinging pain in his head.

"I would have killed them all!" Salazar proclaimed his hand clenched as he punched the tree furiously. Blood trickling down his hands as he pulled himself up from the ground his feet still unsteady.

"You seek revenge without the means to do so. We would have died there. Didn't you notice? That Knight was merely watching. The other dark sorcerers were also holding back I know it. Though I don't know why..." Godric explained before turning to face the manor.

"I hope my father made it out..." He muttered worried his stomach swelling as he clenched his jaw. Seeing Salazar walk up towards the manor he was pulled back by Godric his grip pulling him down.

"Stop it you fool. Don't let your rage blind you," Godric exploded.

"Let me go!" Salazar screamed.

"You leave me no choice," Godric sighed his wand now poking behind Salazar.

"What are you-" Salazar asked only to stop.

"Stupify!" Godric exclaimed the spell knocking him out cold. Salazar closing his eyes fell down motionless his body being held up by Godric who slowed his descent.

"Damn if only you listened you damn donkey. Always stubborn," Godric sighed picking up the unconscious Salazar and carrying his body away before hearing a strange sound.

*ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!"

Hearing the roar he felt a shiver go down his spine as his hands started to shake suddenly. Cold sweat running down his face he turned to look into the sky and he was rewarded with the strangest sight he had ever seen. Over him was a man clad in green armour with a strange weapon in hand. Mounting a strange beast its roar sending shockwaves through the air, its trail leaving a fluro red in its midst. Reaching the manor the strange knight was also followed by numerous strange metallic orb its number ranging from one hundred to two hundred.

Turning to face forward he was met with another strange figure his body fitted with an armoured robe its design similar to the Dark sorcerer the only difference the design being fully white its metal being something entirely.

"Now, now young one I only seek a few answers how you comply will affect how this standoff ends," the caster clarified his hands in the air as he made his way closer.

"Halt! Not one step." Godric stated his wand now out as he stepped back his hands still clutching on Salazar. The unknown caster

"Who are you?" Godric asked.

"Me? I'm nothing really special. My name is Merlvian the Sorcerer supreme and protecter of earth. Now answer my question why is your body laced with Eldritch energy? Speak." Merlvian replied his hands now by his side.

"Sorcerer Supreme? Hmph, what protector? I never heard of you," Godric sneered. What protector? His father had never told him that there was a protector on earth and if there was where was he when the muggles were hunting his people. Where was his protection?

"I protect the earth from external threats and the one I'm trying to deal with has currently laced you with his magic now answer this. What happened in that Manor?" Merlvian questioned once more his hands slowly generating mana.

"If I tell you... Will you help us?" Godric asked.

"Hmmm, it depends on your answer," Merlvian replied.

"I need your word," Godric instilled.

"You run a hard bargain child," Merlvian grumbled.

"Please..." Godric muttered.

"Fine but your answer better be good." Merlvian sighed.

"We were attacked by my friend here's father. He had apparently sold his soul to an unknown being named Dormammu. It's power strange demonic in nature yet it felt as if it wanted to swallow everything in its grasp. His companions killed his wife and attempted to kill us. I was lucky enough to make it out here. For some reason, they were holding back. I could feel it," Godric answered.

"Were they accompanied by a man clad in ebony armour?" Merlvian asked his hands by his chin now as he slowly went into deep thought.

"Indeed he held a strange blade. Though he did nothing but stand there as he watched his companions attempt to kill us," Godric answered.

"This is bad news..." Merlvian noted his hands clasped together.

"Why? He's already bad news as it is. What more is there to it?" Godric asked.

"It means he's still alive..." Merlvian revealed.

"Still alive? Did he die?" Godric asked confused his eyebrow raised as he focused on what Merlvian had to say.

"Of course... I killed him," Merlvian revealed his eyes looking to the floor as if ashamed. Clicking his tongue he turned his head to face his right.

"A few decades ago he was but a mere child. A child filled with a strong will and a kind heart. So I blessed him with gifts of strength and prosperity. Yet he was unfortunately seduced by the forces of darkness his once kind heart now replaced with a cold and evil heart. Yet his will remained. So I had as the protector of the earth I had to put him in his place. Tell me what year is it?" Merlvian asked.

"It is but the year one hundred. Why?" Godric asked confused. Surely the man or so-called protector would know the date.

"Hmph, so it's already been five hundred years..." Merlvian muttered.

"Say what did they do to your friend here?" Merlvian asked Godric.

"Ah... He was filled with rage when he saw his mother killed. So when I pulled him into the portal with me he was still ready to lay his life down for revenge. I had to put him down so that he wouldn't die," Godric admitted.

"Smart, if he had gone serious he would have tortured your mind. I'll refrain from waking him up. Go through this portal it will send you to my estate. When you reach there tell the woman you meet that I sent you. She'll help you from there," Merlvian replied a portal opening in front of Godric. Stepping in he was met with a marvelling scene.

"Hmph, it seems that there's someone richer than you Salazar..." Godric chuckled.
