3 The Bride

"This is absurd, father! We just met yesterday and we're getting married tomorrow already! Rhan will not like this, I do not like this!" Lix shouted. He acts like how Rhan reacted earlier with the engagement. His father's sitting in his office at their home. "You've been engaged for three years already. I gave you time to get close to her but seems like you're enjoying your single life." His father didn't even look at him. He continues typing on his laptop.

"Father, please consider Rhan. She's shocked to know she's engaged. I don't know how she'll react if she found out she's going to get married tomorrow." Lix's voice grew exhausted as he begs. "No, Fredrick and I have talked. His daughter will get married to you tomorrow no matter what."

"Why is it too sudden?" Lix sits in one of the couches while facing his father. "Fredrick's production company needs to team-up with us. We can't give him a sudden huge share but if you're married to her, they can have a good share to help them."

Lix just sighs, his father is being too business minded again. Ever since he's young, his father never left his office. His mother pushes him in practices to become a star. He never really felt what a family feels like.

"Okay, just remember, if Rhan doesn't arrive for tomorrow, shame's on you." Lix stands up ready to leave but his father said another thing, "Remember, if she left you on the altar, shame's on her family."

Lix clenched his fist, his father is really good in manipulating people and twisting events. They have no choice but to get married. Lix loves Rhan but he doesn't want to force her to get married. He wants to make Rhan fall in love for him normally. "I hope you'll attend my wedding," Lix said before closing the door. Since his father's always busy he never attended any ceremonies that Lix celebrates not even his birthdays.

Lix spends his whole day in the entertainment company, attending shows and interviews. Shane arrived late because of the talk about Rhian's movie. Rhan, in her home, finished her comic due that day without knowing how tomorrow will greet her.

"NO! I DON'T WANT TO!" Rhan was once again 'kidnapped' by her sister, Rhian. The butlers are holding her down while she aggressively punches anyone who puts the bridal gown in her. Rhian just smiles as she arranges Rhan's things. But with Rhan's horrid voice, she stops. "I DON'T WANT TO GET MARRIED! I WANT TO SING SINGLE LADIES FOREVER!" Rhan shouted while trying to get away from the butlers. Rhian went to her, Rhan thought her sister pitied her and will help her to get away but Rhian, while Rhan's being held by the butlers, punched her stomach. Strong enough to make Rhan fall on her knees.

"Don't make it more difficult for me, Rhan. No one wanted you to get married to a wealthy man's son because our great father begged for help. If you want to save your pride, just behave and get married." Rhian looks down on Rhan, she feels hurt for her little sister but they have no other choice. Rhan slowly looks up to Rhian, with tears streaming down her face, "But I haven't completed the 25 things to do before you get married yet Rhian!"

Rhian looks at Rhan shocked then she laughs, "My book? Really?" 25 things to do before you get married is a book written by Rhian when she broke up with Cameron. She didn't think that her little sister is reading that.

"Rhian..." Rhan stands up and clings to Rhian's shoulders while crying. "I don't want to be a Missus. What if his last name is *beep*? That will make me Mrs. *beep*." Rhan's words shocked everyone in the room. Even the butlers shivered with the ugly word she just said. If words stink, that word will definitely suffocate the whole world.

"What if it's *beep*, Rhian! You don't want to have a sister with such last name, right? I don't want to introduce myself as Mrs. *beep*," Rhan cries. Rhian tries to suppress her laugh while watching her sister be worried about something that is not even a problem. "Don't worry, Lix's last name isn't that bad." Rhian's hugs Rhan and pats her back.

"I don't even know when is his birthday, his blood type, his zodiac sign, his foot size..." Rhian pulls Rhan away from her, "What?" Rhian asks unbelievably. "What if I don't enjoy my marriage life?" Rhan cries even more.

Rhian just sighs as the butlers pretend that they didn't hear anything. The maids are blushing and giggling. "Rhan, stop worrying. Lix is a great guy but if he ever hurts you, I'll reduce his foot size by half." Rhan smiles at Rhian while the butlers and made whispers, "These sisters are very weird and dangerous."

Rhan wore the cathedral train lace bridal gown. Her hair's tied up, with a tiara clipping the veil on her head. "Wow," Rhan exclaimed as she stares at herself in the mirror. "I know, I choose that gown, I was only teasing you when I say you got fat, you still have the same measurements before." Rhian kisses Rhan's cheeks.

"I bet Lix will fall even harder for you when he will see you later." Their mother appeared with a wide smile. "But look this way for a while, I'll take a photo." She's holding a camera, she's wearing a simple peach dress same with Rhian's. A butler offered to take a photo of the three ladies after and the other maids went to join before they leave.

"I am nervous!" Rhan shakes her hand. They are on their way on the church, Rhian's taking photos of Rhan practicing how to smile. Their mother's in the front seat while Philip's driving them. "You seemed to accept this wedding, Rhan?" Their mother asks, "Is it because you like Mr. Lix?"

Rhan rolled her eyes, "No, mother. I don't have a choice. I will just keep in my mind that divorce is available in this country." She really can't do anything, even if she takes her guts out, her parents won't let her go. She will get married no matter what.

"Don't be like that, give Lix a chance." Rhian smiles, "He's a great guy, I promise. He's your type." Rhan looked at her, "What? He's like Rick the second?"

"Now, girls, we're almost there, Rhan, smile." Their mother retouches her make up. The church is almost seen. You can see the decorations and the media crowding around. Of course, a rich man's son and a well-known company's president daughter get married, why won't the media let it go? Rhan heard how the maids describe their wedding, "Vow of the heaven," they call it.

Rhan doesn't know how they describe it. But somehow, it seemed like a comic title that it makes her feel like she's living a comic life, but she's getting forced to get married to someone she barely knows.

They stopped in front of the church. A helicopter is throwing confetti while she gets out of the car. The cameras went flashing the moment her shoes touched the ground. 'Will Rick see this?' she thought. "Look here, Miss Rhan!" The cameramen shouted. "Smile," Rhian reminded her as she helps Rhan get out of the car. The maids fixed her gown's trail as she slowly walks. Rhan saw Shane run inside the church while some family friends take photos as well.

Her father is waiting at the entrance. He approached her and held her hand, "I am sorry, Rhan. But I wish for your happiness," he said. Rhan just awkwardly smiles. She's not used to be close with her father. 'How can you wish for my happiness when you've already destroyed it?' she thought.

"Let's go," her father started walking inside. She saw that the church is full of people, they are all standing up, looking at her. These are well-known artists, company presidents and a lot of important people. She blushed but her smile didn't fade. The music made her shiver. This is supposed to be her best day. This is supposed to be with someone she really loves. But when her eyes landed on Lix, even though her veil's covering her face, her heart suddenly pounded hard.

His genuine sweet beautiful smile, he even seemed to be tearing up, but Rhan brushed it off. Lix is forced to get married, he wouldn't be crying because of joy. Her veil might be causing her to see things. She avoided his eyes and looked around. It's a very extravagant wedding if she judge from the decorations. They even hired an orchestra to play the wedding march. 'This really look like a Vow of the Heaven,' she thought as she looks up and saw the transparent tents, with lights and silver / gold streamers.

Since the sun is almost setting and it's a bit dark which she thinks is intended for the design, she felt as if she's in a heavenly place. 'If only this is my real wedding...' she sighs.
