Chapter 8: His Majesty the Emperor and Lowly Eunuch

"Wow, it turns out that your standards are that shockingly high. Who do you think you are? The son of heavens? Should I kowtow now to His Majesty, the Emperor?" Calix barked back sarcastically making the drama even more intense and exciting

"Yes, I am. This Emperor wants you, a lowly Eunuch to kowtow. Are you going to do it or not?"

Calix's eyes widened a bit from that. Although he already knows that the guy in front of him is a Little Devil, he was still taken aback and he also becomes... angrier

"Who the fuck are you calling a Eunuch?!" Calix asked in a shouting manner and Klein raises his brows at him

"How dare a lowly slave shout and curse at this Emperor, the Son of Heavens?" Klein retorted with an aura of overbearingness as if he really is an Emperor

Calix didn't expect that his own words would be used against him like this. This is too much of a backfire!

"Pa! Stop acting, just admit that you are so desperate for me! Not only did you stalk me, you even injured me twice!"

"Lowly slave, just admit it if you want to be this Emperor's Consort. Sadly, not to mention a Consort, you don't even have the qualification to become one of this Emperor's Concubine!"

Just from these few exchanges alone, it can be seen who is winning and who is losing

Klein might be the person that has the most venomous tongue the people around knows. This even caused them to take a mental note

If they became friends with Klein, that's good. This guy is kind to his friend. But they should never ever make Klein their enemy

If not, they might cough out fresh blood from the venomous tongue this guy has

"You are the Concubine! Your whole family is a concubine!" Calix said angrily

He too needs to admit that in a battle of words, he was completely defeated

"How dare a mere eunuch slave insult the Imperial Family?! Guards, take this bastard away and sentence the nine generations of his family with death!"

Calix's eyes almost rolled at the back of his head

Defeat... he was utterly defeated. He can feel all of his blood flowing towards his head and before he can speak, his nose once again starts bleeding

The overbearing aura around Klein immediately vanishes and it was instead replaced with worries

"Oh shit, you stupid guy, why do you need to fight with me?" Klein absentmindedly said before using his own shirt to wipe the blood from Calix's nose again. Completely disregarding the fact that he is also at fault for their 'Imperial Court Roleplay' earlier

Too bad that Calix doesn't have any energy to argue anymore. Due to his agitated mood thanks to a certain someone, his injury worsened and he can feel his vision blurring

"Aish, why is your bleeding not stopping? Are you a blood faucet?" Klein grumbled but due to the loss of blood, Calix's head is already dizzy

Since this is partly Klein's fault, he knows that he needs to take responsibility. Thus, he wrapped Calix's arm into his shoulder and lead the guy towards the infirmary

If Calix's mind still works perfectly, he would definitely feel the soft and moist flesh underneath his arm. Too bad that he currently can't enjoy such a wonderful feeling

Klein ignored all the stares he was receiving since he's already used to it. He just focuses on reaching the infirmary with the heavy guy in his shoulder, not minding the way people look at them

"Wow, they quarreled as if they are each other's greatest enemy yet they act so sweet in the next second" Shane muttered to herself and the still not dispersing audience nodded their heads in agreement

"If you want, we can act sweetly to each other too" a flirty voice entered Shane's ears and when she looked at the source, she saw Cain grinning at him

"You're the guy that has the power to automatically make people wrap their arms on you, right?" Shane flirted back and Cain's eyes glowed with interest

"You remembered me, I'm flattered" Cain replied while putting his hand into his chest

Thus, while Klein leads Calix to the infirmary, their two good friends decided to flirt with each other. As for the other two, Liam and Tristan, the former stared at Shane contemptuously while the latter just continued keeping his silence while listening to music through his AirPods

In the infirmary, Calix can be seen sitting on a bed with cotton and a bandage on his nose

To his side was his friend he badly wants to beat up

Instead of being worried for his friend, Cain was currently enjoying Calix's current appearance

In fact, Cain even took several photos to make as a 'memento'

"Head Eunuch, how are you feeling now?" Cain teased with a smirk and Calix immediately grabs the pillow on his side and threw it at him. Cain just dodged the flying pillow though

"Can't you stop being an asshole?" Calix asked with a glare but Cain would not be Cain if he stops immediately with this little bit of threat

"How dare a slave call His Majesty's Imperial Consort an asshole? Don't you know that insulting a Royal is a crime punishable with death?"

Calix felt like his headache was returning because of this good-for-nothing friend of his. It's just too bad that he doesn't have any pillow to throw anymore

"Stop that roleplay or I swear, I'll kill you!" Calix threatened but Cain deeply enjoyed the former's reactions

It's not every day that someone can reduce the Male God into this kind of state! How can the mischievous Cain not fan the flames and tease his friend?

Thus, Cain continued and he even gasps in shock. "Y-you... you dare threaten this Imperial Consort?! Guards, hang this lowly slave's head in public! Make the people know what fate they would have for insulting the Royal Family!"

Of course, no Imperial Guards came but Calix's anger is Cain's satisfaction. The angrier Calix becomes, the more enjoyable it was for Cain

In fact, Cain even has an urge to become Klein's student. Not everyone has such a glib tongue like that that can think of a stinging comeback for everything on the spot!

"Cain, I swear to God that if you don't stop, you would see your body floating in the rivers next morning!" Calix said through gritted teeth causing Cain to chuckle

"Swear to God your face! You're an agnostic, infinitely close to atheist even!"

"Yeah, but if there is a God that can help me kill you, I'll worship that God my whole life!" Calix snapped and Cain knew when to stop

Who knows, this friend of his might really join a cult just to make sure that his soul would be removed from his physical body

Cain can only continue the rare times he can bully Calix into his mind

"Just go, buy foods and drinks for me. Losing this much blood makes me hungry" Calix ordered in a shooing manner as if Cain was his maid

Cain still has some sense though and he stood up from his seat to buy what Calix requested with one last teasing

"Tsk tsk, who would have thought that this Imperial Consort will one day be forced by a slave into running an errand?" Cain muttered quietly while shaking his head but Calix still heard it

"Scram!"

With that, Cain stops with a chuckle and exited the infirmary to buy foods and drinks for his pitiful friend

"Your Majesty, this lowly slave will give up his spot for you" one of Klein's classmates that watched the show earlier said and let Klein cut in the line for food in the cafeteria

That causes Klein's cheeks to turn red from embarrassment. He doesn't normally argue with anyone except for people he finds disdainful (AKA Calix)

The number of times Klein's venomous tongue showed their might were few since the instances of people angering him is rare

Thus, Klein can't really stand all of these teasings. It's not only his classmates that teases him, even the other students that watched the show personally or in the videos that start circulating on the net does the same

"Y-you... stop teasing me" Klein said in a manner that he didn't know whether to laugh or cry

However, that classmate of his was still bowing while standing in the side of the line. He really intended to let Klein cut the line

This makes Klein scratch the back of his head and he doesn't have a choice but to surrender

But as soon as Klein stands in line, the person in front of him immediately bowed her head

"Your Majesty" the girl greeted while walking to the side clearly intending to have Klein cut in the line again

This happened until Klein reaches the staff in the canteen. Since these old people don't know much about technologies, they haven't watch Klein's video

Thus, they thought that rich kids are really weird. Why are they acting like a slave in front of an Emperor?

Is there a movie they are currently filming without the canteen staff knowing?

Klein can feel the weird gaze coming from the staffs and with a red face, ordered some bread and a bottled drink before immediately escaping from such an embarrassing place

However, the more second that passed, the more people sees Klein's videos. Thus, along the way, people started greeting him as "His Majesty" which makes him even more embarrass

Finally, after some time, Klein sees a familiar face. He thought that with Shane here, he would finally have some breather. What he forgot was the personality this friend of his has

"Move! His Majesty the Emperor has arrived, how dare you lowly slaves block his Majesty's path?" Shane shouted loudly and a lot of people heard her

The people that already watched the video chuckled before moving to the side with their backs slightly stretched into a bow

As for those that don't know what is happening they either unconsciously did the same or they were forced to do the same by those that know the reason for this scene

"You guys... please stop teasing me" Klein said helplessly earning him a burst of laughter from the people around

However, the good friend of his still doesn't want to let him off that easily. Shane stared at the students around before shouting again

"Impudent! How can you lowly slaves laugh in His Majesty's presence?!"

Shane's words make the students start roleplaying again and they bowed their heads deeper than usual

That causes Klein's golden eyes to darken. While Shane was still immersed in her role, Klein already walks towards her and pulled her ear while walking

"A-aw! Y-Your Majesty! Mercy! Mercy! Please forgive this lowly slave!" Shane pitifully wailed. She feels as if her ear would be cut off from her body

But only when some of Klein's anger evaporated did he set the woman's ears free

"Shane, are you even my friend? How can you collude with other people to tease me like that?" Klein asked with a glare while the two of them walks back towards the infirmary

"Your Ma—" Shane wants to continue the act but Klein already gave her a deadly stare and she can only stop

"Hmph, yeah, are we really friends? Why didn't you tell me that you have something going on with the Male God? You sneaky brat getting a love life before I can have one!"

"What are you talking about? What Male God?" Klein asked with a frown and he saw Shane sneering at him

"Tsk tsk still acting innocent? Of course, it's the Male God Calix Blythe Strousse! Who in this university doesn't know him? Heck, even his social media that he rarely uses has tons of followers!"

Now that Shane said that, Klein remembered the conceited guy causing his mood to turn even more sour

"Well, I don't really care about him so what are you making a fuss about?"
