7 NEW YEAR'S SPECIAL

Thirty-minutes until this year ends, wow it's been a very long year with its good and bad sides.

Noelle, Maya, Amaya, Mikaela, and Liam were going to the town's square to see the fireworks and welcome the new year.

"Why am I the only male among us? Man the next time I see Jason I'm gonna kill him. What in the world does he do to miss times like these?" Noah asked no one in particular.

"How should we know? You're his best friend," Mikaela answered.

"Yeah, you're his buddy we're just third wheels," Maya added.

"Ok shut it everyone we're entering a new year no need for fighting, and anywhere that Jason is I'm sure he'll be watching the fireworks too," Noelle chipped in.

"Alright, alright, alright we'll stop arguing, but could you not nag us, I feel like you're my mom," Liam said.

"What did you say?" Noelle asked with anger written all over her face. "I feel like your mom, boy how old do you think I am?"

"Uh, 30?"Liam teased.

Noelle snapped and attacked Liam right on the spot. Luckily Mikaela held Noelle back and she couldn't wriggle out of Mikaela's grasp.

"If you ever say that again, I'll kill you right on the spot without any hesitation" Noelle threatened.

Liam hid behind Amaya cowering in fear. They all knew that Noelle could be scary if she was angry.

"Could you not hid behind me like the man-baby you are, you pissed her off in the first place, so now it's your responsibility to apologize," Amaya yelled.

"Alright, alright, alright I'll go apologize, geez," Liam said.

"Noelle I'm really sorry, please forgive me," Liam said.

"Ok, but don't piss me off again or else I might kill you for real, now let's focus on what we came here to do,"

The countdown had just started and Noelle and the rest joined in.

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Happy new year," They all yelled.

Right after, the fireworks started and they all turned their heads towards the sky to look at the amazing sight.

"Happy new year everyone," Noelle said while hugging them all one by one

"Now that we are in the new year let's start it with your amazing food Noelle. What do you think?" Liam said while hugging Noelle back.

"I thought you might say that, so Maya and I prepared food in advance, now let's go eat," Noelle said.

They made their way back to the college and entered Noelle and Maya's dorm.

They all removed their coats and settled down.

"Instead of the usual cornbread, green peas, etc., we changed it up a bit," Noelle said.

"We decided to make kimchi fried rice if you don't know what that means..... go search it up online," Noelle said.

"Well if it's your food I guarantee it will be delicious," Liam said.

Noelle served their food and they started to gobble the food down.

"Well I told ya any food made by our dearest Noelle.. and Maya is simply savory," Liam said.

"Mhm, make your own food idiot," Amaya retorted.

"Rude much," Liam said.

"Let's just watch a movie and we can all go back to our dorms," Mikaela said.

They settled down on the couch, some on the floor, and watched a movie.

After what seemed like an eternity, the movie was finally over, and Mikaela, Liam, and Amaya had to go in order not to overstay their visit.

"See you tomorrow," Maya said waving at them as they exited the door.

"Bye Maya, love you," Liam said.

"Uh I believe she was talking to all of us," Amaya said. "Attention seeker,"

"Can we just go without fighting," Mikaela said holding them both by their ears.

"Well friends argue," Liam said.

"I know that but this is way too much just shut your damn mouth and let's go. Anyways bye Noelle, bye Maya," Mikaela said.

Noelle and Maya watched them as they returned back to their dorms, disappearing out of sight.
