9 CHAPTER 8

~Tuesday~

Noelle had woken up fully rested and energized. She had gotten a goodnight's sleep after the previous day's busyness. She got about with her daily routine and went to see if Maya had woken up. Unfortunately for her, she was not, so Noelle had to go through the trouble of waking her up. "Maya wake up, time for school," Noelle said as she was shaking her. She knew perfectly that wasn't going to work, so she did what she had done in previous situations.

Noelle, with all her might, pushed Maya out of her bed and took her blankets. "Hey, Noelle, why do you have to wake me up in such a horrendous way," Maya said from the floor. "If by horrendous you mean friendly, then yeah I do have to wake you up in a horrendous way because there's no other option!" Noelle said frustrated. "Ok ok, Jeez don't rub it in," Maya said getting up from the floor. "Ok, now go shower you're gonna be late," Noelle said chuckling. "Just a friendly reminder, I'm gonna be gone by the time you've finished showering, so I'll leave you breakfast," Noelle said.

"Thanks, Noelle you're the best," Maya said hugging Noelle from behind. " I know, I know now off you go," Noelle said pushing Maya towards the shower. Since they had pancakes the previous day, Noelle decided on waffles for the day's breakfast. After a while, the waffles were ready and Noelle added greek yogurt to go with hers. She left Maya three pieces and ate the other three.

After a while, Noelle had finished her breakfast. She went out and saw that Noah was just outside their dorm. Which was weird. "Noah, what are you doing here?" Noelle asked suspiciously. "I thought we could walk to class together since we have the same lessons in the mornings," Noah answered calmly. "Ok, that's weird," Noelle said chuckling. "Well for me it isn't," Noah said smiling.

They headed on to class, engaging in small talk. Two minutes later they had reached their destination and headed inside the class. As they entered whispers could be heard throughout the class. Probably because Noelle was quiet and an introvert, whereas Noah was an extrovert and the most sought-after boy in their class, so seeing them together was a rare sight.

They ignored the whispers and went to take a seat at the back of the class. "So what are we going to do about the project we've been given?" Noelle asked. "Seeing as we're to summarise what we've learned, we'll go to the library and take turns coming up with ideas to make it brief," Jason answered. 'I feel like Mikaela right now.' Noelle thought.

Not long after, the professor came in and they started learning business. Noelle's courses were Math, Science, Technology, Business, Social science, and Languages. Seeing as she wanted to own her own gaming company, these courses were essential. Noelle was again dozing off in class and Noah had to wake her up.

"Noelle, stop sleeping, you're gonna get us in trouble," Noah said whispering. "I'm sorry I'm just so tired," Noelle answered yawning. "Mr. Hill, Ms. White would you stop disturbing my class, or would you mind sharing with the whole class." The professor said, clearly annoyed. "Sorry Mr. Will, It won't happen again," Noah said.

"See what you got us into," Noah whispered. "Sorry," Noelle whispered back. The lessons continued without further interruption. And before they knew it the lessons were over. When the professor finally left, Noah broke into a lecture about how Noelle almost got them into trouble. "You see what you've caused." He said frustrated. "Sorry?." Noelle answered in a tone that seemed like a question more than an apology.

"Haa, Let's go to the library, and after classes, we can go to your dorm," Noah said facepalming. "Lighten up I said I'm sorry," Noelle said patting Noah on the head. "Ok let's go," Noah said as he led Noelle to the library. They walked to the library, earning whispers from passers-by. Not long after, they reached the library and took a seat. Noelle grabbed the books they needed and took the seat next to Noah.

So far, they had learned pre-calculus, linear algebra, and geometry. Noelle was in her second year of college, so she had two more years to go, and apart from that, she had to take the necessary courses to become the director of her own gaming company. She had a lot on her hands.

"Noelle have you gotten anything," Noah asked out of the blue. "Yeah, I got some highlights on algebra and pre-calculus," Noelle answered. "Ok, I got highlights on all of them so, after classes, we're heading to your place and adding them all together," Noah said. "Yes sir," Noelle teased. "Let's just go," Noah said frustrated.

When they got out of the library, they were left with two minutes before the break was over, so Noelle decided to get coffee to help her stay awake during class, and Noah got a sandwich. After they were done with their food they headed off to their next class. "Say Noah why do you have the same classes as me," Noelle asked out of the blue. "Well, my father wants me to take over the company, so I assume you want to be director yourself. So that's why we have the same classes," Noah said in a hurried tone.

"Woah slow down blues clues," Noelle said chuckling. "Now you know, so off we go," Noah teased. As they entered the class, the lecturer wasn't in yet so they went to the back of the class. They discussed random stuff and found out they had a lot in common. Not long after the teacher entered and they started the second lesson of the day. Business.

Luckily the coffee Noelle had took helped, so she was able to stay awake. 'I was initially going to get milk but Noah made me drink coffee, man he is really handy to have around.'
