20 Chapter Twenty

"Menay," Raven shouts calling out his cat's name as he opened the door rushing into his dorm room. "I need your... help" he went to explain but before he even got a chance to close the door he stopped and fell silent.

He was caught off guard by the sight just a few feet from him. There was a teenage guy and girl both of which he had never seen before in his room, on his bed, and this time it wasn't Carson's doing. He was baffled by the sight of them unable to process what he was looking at.

Raven even looked back at the number on the door to make certain he was in the correct room. Once Raven confirmed that he was in the correct room his attention went back to the strangers pointing his finger to each of them as he shouts and they became aware of his presence, "Who are you?"

The girl quickly gets up embarrassed with the unexpected company in the room grabbing the sheets from Raven's bed covering herself up. Though all she had off was her shirt and this was practically nothing to Raven anyway having Carson as a roommate. He understood why she did this but that wasn't his concern at the moment he wouldn't have cared how nude she were he just wanted her out of his room.

"You have a girlfriend?" She asked in an accusing manner looking down to the young man who was sitting up from the bed while laughing.

"It seems I do" He says still chuckling while he looked Raven over. His cat ears flicked out from under his shaggy dirty blonde hair at the top of his head laying down like he were in trouble.

Raven's eyes widened with a gasped covering his mouth quickly preventing himself from speaking. He knew this was Menay for sure though this young man was much older and the voice didn't match the kid nor the cat, the ears were practically a dead giveaway.

Raven was just blown away by how obvious Menay was being with his ears while he had a girl with him. Looking him over Raven glanced back to the girl trying to figure out how she wasn't questioning this at all. That was when his train of thought was interrupted by the sound of a slap.

The girl had dropped the sheet and slapped Menay before she gathered her shirt and bag rushing towards the door to get away from it all. Putting on her shirt while running out she collided with Raven only a bit but enough to move Raven from his balance. He looked over to her giving an agitated expression as she gave a rushed brief apology leaving the room slamming the door behind her.

Looking back Raven narrowed his brow glaring at Menay. Menay glanced away from Raven rubbing his face where it was now red and sore causing Raven to scoff, "That's what you get for turning my room into a motel six" he scolded.

Maney looked over to Raven for a brief moment before dropping his hand from his face giving a grunt in response to Raven's comment. This lack of response bothered Raven making him storm over grabbing Menay by a cat ear he pulled his head down towards him, "What are you doing inviting girls in here looking like this anyway, what if Carson was the one who returned first, stupid cat?"

Menay hissed out of reaction reaching up he grabbed at Raven's wrist, "Ay, you're going to rip it off, you don't pull on them" He yelled jerking Raven's hand off finding instant relief from the pain.

"Jeez you're not a cute girl at all treating me like this" He grumbled out now rubbing his ear having both his cheek and ear sore from his actions. Though his words only aggravated Raven further being called a girl now of all times.

"Like I'd care about that you perverted cat, what the hell were you thinking?" Raven barked motioning his hand gesturing to Menay's body demanding a reason for what he walked in on and why Menay was in the body he had now.

Menay waved up his hand for Raven to calm down, "Chill okay, humans almost instantly forget they see them." He explains gesturing to his ears, "It's like a charm, besides I'm too far from my master I was only merely self feeding" He adds.

Raven paused hearing this as he had forgotten Menay wasn't a human nor cat. He never imagined Menay would need to do the same thing as him, "You feed?" he slightly inquired a bit about Menay's kind.

Menay cracked a half smile to Raven's question, "Why do you think I attached myself to your mother?" he states with sarcasm.

Looking over he saw Raven's face only become more confused by his statement and dropped the sarcasm recalling he was talking to some who was ignorant about everything supernatural.

He sighed looking to the floor, "It's not exactly the same manner as you, my kind are like leeches it's easier to attach ourselves to something strong and feed from that connection but all I have to do is touch someone to feed, though what I get from touch is very little and without being attached to something strong it's almost impossible to maintain my human form." he explains so that Raven can understand his situation better.

Raven nodded listening to him explain having not realized Menay was feeding off his mother this whole time. He never imagined his house cat would be so complex, he even became curious on how Menay had fed before Raven left for the dorms since he wasn't near his master then either. Thinking about the girl just now he wondered if any of the times Menay had touched him had been him feeding since he didn't need fluids to feed. But then this made him questioned the manner of how he just now found him and the young girl together, "So why was she undressed if all you need is to touch?"

Menay looked up to Raven giving a guilty grin, "That's just a bonus"

"Tsk" Raven hissed in disgust at Menay's actions while he began to lose his faith in the world with all these filthy perverted demons wandering around. He shook his head trying not to care as he was getting to a point that he no longer wanted to know about what Menay was doing. All he was concerned with now was just the answers to what he needed to do now that he was a woman again.

"Whatever," he grumbled passing the event from his mind, "I need you to do your job right now and explain to me why I'm like this but no one has showed signs of attacking me like before" he asked while forcefully tapping Menay's legs to move them over so he could sit on his bed next to him.

"Hmm..." Menay looked over to Raven and gave a small snicker. "It won't happen only because you are a girl, you can be attacked when you are a boy too." he points out. Raven huffed to his snickering not finding this as amusing as Menay apparently did becoming only more concerned to know he could be attacked as a guy.

Menay cleared his throat moving on as he went to explain, "It's clearly because you still have enough energy this time left over from the change, you just have more girl energy than boy energy now. Once you feed with a guy you should be fine" He answers gesturing lightly to Raven's body implying that he'll go back to being a guy once he does.

Though he was happy to know he wouldn't be attacked by anybody it still didn't satisfy him to know he had to kiss a guy again. He really didn't want to kiss anyone at this point especially a guy just for the sake of turning back into a male himself. Though he knew he needed the male energy from somewhere letting out a huff glancing to Menay and realized, Menay was a guy and one that had just fed. Looking him over as he wonder if it would be weird to use him and if he even had enough energy to spare Raven spaced in his own thoughts.

Menay caught him thinking and looking him over and cracked a smile. Like he were reading Raven's mind he figured out what he was thinking because of the way Raven stared at his lips.

"Don't look at me that way it won't work, you can't feed off me since I'm not human nor do I carry my own energy source" He smirked giving a light wink leaning on Raven for a brief moment.

Raven's face flushed red looking away with embarrassment having the idea not only spoke aloud but denied at the same time making Raven stumble on his words, "I... no, like I'd want to" He finally snapped denying he even accepted the idea of kissing him.

This caused Menay to chuckle a bit more at Raven's expense. Raven folded his arms over one another in front of his chest huffing once more getting annoyed by being Menay's entertainment.

Yet another sigh escapes Raven as he thinks about his option and the situation he was in. He knew this was pointless as the options were little to none but at least the news of his energy still being high meant he was safe for the moment which caused him some relief.

Menay arched a brow looking Raven over as he leaned back in a stretch, "You sound like an old lady with all that sighing, you were too careless with your energy today you should have stored it better, you might not have turned back to a girl" he said in a taunting manner.

Raven grunted in response giving a slight glaring glance, knowing that was the sort of information that should have been said before. Thinking about Menay he was becoming more confused on why he was even there with every turning moment he was only getting on Raven's nerves. "Oh yeah..." Raven looked him over for a moment, "Menay why do you look like that?"

"Ugh..." He looked at himself as if he had forgotten he was in a teen body there for a moment then looked back to Raven as he went to explain, "You still don't get it even when I told you, I can pick my age, I'm about 16 in this body... I figured you'd talk with me easier in this form " he said with a shrug.

Raven smirked arching a suspicious brow "And the fact that teenage girls came to school tonight had no influence of it?"

Menay shook his head playfully no while holding up his thumb and index finger close together to represent a little bit, "No, that was definitely an afterthought."

Raven scoffed finding this a little amusing even if it wasn't intentional his playful characteristic made Raven feel a little better. This kind of behavior reminded him of when Menay would do something silly or playful to distract him from when the world became too much back when he was just a normal cat. Now that he was thinking about it Menay turning into a teen just to help, Raven felt like that was the kind of thing he would do, making him smile softly to himself for a moment.

"Also I can walk around this building easier this way without people trying to find my mother or call the cops" he adds throwing Raven's peaceful sentimental thoughts out of the options.

Reaching to his side Raven grabbed his pillow pulling it over him and gently whacked Menay in the face with it, "Creepy bastard" he grumbled.

"That was uncalled for" Menay protested in a muffled manner from behind the pillow making Raven chuckle softly as he let the pillow go. After pulling the pillow from his face Menay looked up at Raven and smiled seeing Raven still able to chuckle even now causing him to chuckle with him.

"So I know you don't want me to ask this but what do you plan on doing?" Menay asked while leaning back up on the bed sitting straight beside him.

Raven huffed throwing up his hands falling back to the bed giving up, "Nothing."

He grunted having not planned on staying in this body but still didn't know how, it wasn't like he could feed off Carson again. He knew he needed to go somewhere other than his room now more than ever especially dressed like the manager Carson would find out.

He looked up to Menay who looked down at him like he needed more of an answered causing Raven to shrug leaning back up, "I don't know, I haven't thought this far out yet"

Menay leaned on Raven for a moment, "Hey don't think too hard, we'll go home and figure it out okay it's the weekend after all we still have time"

Raven looked up as he gave a soft smile. Menay had a good point that let Raven feel more at ease, "Okay" He accepted this idea thinking this was a better option than anything else at the moment.

Menay placed his hand on Raven's knee before he could stand making him look at him, "It's going to be alright I'll be here the whole time, no one's going to hurt you."

Raven listened to Menay's word looking him over he didn't think he could actually guarantee that having seen what happened the last time he needed to feed. But while he was looking at Menay now being serious he felt like Menay could keep him safe.

"Hey you in there?" Carson's voice echoed through the room from behind the door looking for Raven.

Carson's voice broke through Raven and Menay's moment of looking at one another as he continued to call out behind the door. "Raven, I can't find my card key in my bag, can you just come and unlock the door?"
