"Shit," Carson shouted out from the unexpected impact dropping his phone to the ground. Unable to react properly he reached out to grab the person that ran into him forgetting the soda within his grasp.

The freshly cracked can fizzed and splashed out covering the two with its contents. Though it was already all over them he move the can out and away from their bodies while it bubbled out over his hand dripping to the floor.

Once the can stopped after it got so low he shook his head and tossed the half empty can into the trash behind him, "Just not my day" he hissed out. Feeling the liquid run down his chest underneath his clothes he was becoming all the more frustrated with how the night was turning out for him. Leaning down he picked up his phone from the ground shaking the soda from it looking to see if it was damaged before paying any mind to the person who ran into him.

Raven too had the sugary liquid soaking through his clothes running down his shoulder to his back but he didn't care about it at that moment. The heat burning from within was only getting stronger and taking away Raven's motivation to run. Even with the person in front of him clearly still distracted it was like Raven could no longer gather his strength to move. Gripping at the shirt over his chest pulling at the fabric trying to breath while he stared down at the floor. The man before him spoke up again causing him to flinch thinking this was where he would be caught.

"Ugh my clothes are soaked," Carson growled shoving his phone into his pocket and pulled the sticky shirt from his chest while looking to the cause of his new troubles, "What the hell du...?" he growled about to scold the person who ran into him but froze.

For a moment he thought he was looking down at Raven and became concerned almost reaching out to her to see what was wrong but he held back. Thrown off by the similarity in appearances he was rendered speechless and it took him a moment of looking her over to correct his initial thoughts.

"Someone's girlfriend?" he finally questioned after registering that what he was looking down at was not Raven but a scared trembling girl. The only conclusion he could come to for her presence was that she had been snuck in by her boyfriend then left in fear of being caught. Hiding a girlfriend was a common thing within the school and even just helping the girl could result in a lot of trouble. Though he was reluctant to just leave her be he didn't want to get into trouble by helping her either.

Knowing if he got caught up in this kind of mess it would only worsen his day. Hating it he sucked on his teeth looking away from her, "Get out of here before you get caught" he stated about to leave.

Raven became relieved, he knew this familiar voice and though he knew the possible danger he felt safe like he didn't need to run anymore. Seeing Carson's feet begin to move from him after hearing his words the panic of being left exposed and alone struck him again.

"Carson..." Raven called out still clenching his chest he reached out to grab Carson's shirt and dared to look up at his best friend, "Help me" he pleads as their eyes met.

There was silence for a moment but not because Carson was changing like the others. Carson stared down at him with a confused expression like he were trying to figure out who Raven was. Raven became dazed as well while they stared at each other, confused that he wasn't changing like he was unaffected by Raven's gaze.

As the horde closed in catching up to him faster than before now that Raven was no longer running their voices and running footsteps could be heard. Their words were loud and clear to understand, speaking about catching Raven before he got away from them.

Carson broke his attention on the girl before him looking away towards the commotion coming down the halls. Now understanding why he was ran into he knew this girl was only going to be trouble if he stayed by her any longer, "Are they after you?" Carson asked lightly looking back to Raven.

Raven could only let go of Carson and jerk back to himself as they got closer unable to answer Carson's question though it was easily suggested through his actions. Carson let a sigh escape him looking her over he knew he wasn't going to be able to just walk away from her now. He wasn't in the mood to deal with this but instead of walking away leaving Raven to be victim to the horde that was to come he grabs Raven by the arm.

"In here" He grumbled pulling Raven towards the laundry room.

Raven winced feeling the pain from Carson's touch and goes to resist for a moment fearing the thoughts of being trapped in a room with him. Even with this hesitation it was already too late. In his weakened state he didn't even have the will to stop himself from being moved by Carson's pull. He was already in the room and against the very door that separated them from the wrestling team just on the other side.

"Relax, I won't do anything to you" Carson whispered lightly while placing his hands just above Raven's head on the space between the door and the wall. Since there were no locks he leaned in close hovering over Raven supporting himself on the wall. Raven knew he was only doing this to use his body weight to hold the door shut so no one could open and check while they were passing by but it quickly became uncomfortable.

As the wrestling team passed Raven's legs buckled from under him feeling the weight from before get to him now that he was no longer moving. Sliding down the door he sat there on the floor glancing up to Carson. Being cautious and curious at the same time he wondered what it was that made Carson appear normal not being affected like the others were.

Staring up at Carson thinking about it a little harder he realized this wasn't the first time Carson seemed to ignore Raven's unusual attraction. Usually everyone he spent too much time with ended up changing the way they felt about him even before he was a girl. Carson had always been different from the others though he teased he never had any real interest in Raven. With how playful Carson was it wouldn't surprise him if he was immune by default having such a personality that acquired so much experience he wouldn't be so easily wavered from what he liked at all.

Raven unconsciously smiled knowing that he wouldn't be Carson's type no matter what supernatural power was pulling him. He liked tall, rich, blonde woman none of which described Raven in the slightest even with his female body. This thought made Raven more at ease to focus on other problems at hand.

The burning had yet to stop and though Carson wasn't like them his body having been so close only made things worse. Raven's arms still burned where he was grabbed and dragged into the room. Placing his hand over his arm he brought it closer to his body and leaned over trying to make it all go away.

Once the horde passed Carson looked down at Raven who was crunched over with staggered breathing still trembling. He felt bad for this girl knowing she was clearly scared but this also frustrated him more that she was put in such a situation. Carson let out a slight hiss kneeling down he snapped his fingers in front of Raven's face to get his attention.

"Where's your boyfriend's room?" he asked once Raven looked up to him to make sure he was heard.

"Boyfriend?" Raven mutters out in a confused manner.

"Yeah boyfriend," Carson reached out tugging at the collar of Raven's shirt implying this was where he got the theory from, "The one who takes his girl into a locker room then runs like a coward when about to be caught" he explains.

This only baffles Raven on exactly how Carson's mind works but before correcting him he realized he had no other reason for being in the school or why he was wearing the school uniform. It was unusual how Carson had got that theory but Raven couldn't deny it so he left it be hoping Carson would continue to fill in the gaps for him. He remained silent looking up at Carson like he weren't going to tell him who the boyfriend was though he really couldn't think of an escape goat so refusing to talk was the next best choice.

Carson huffed seeing he wasn't going to get an answer irritated with how this girl was being but they weren't going to get anywhere if he didn't know who it was, "Yeah I get it the penalty for bringing a chick in here is bad but still leaving you stranded to get caught was a dick move and needs to be kicked out anyways, I am just going to get you back to him" Carson continues in a frustrated tone.

Looking her over waiting for a response Carson couldn't help but compare Raven's features to hers. They were almost the same in the small details: same height, similar frame, the freckles that scattered across her nose in the same spots, eye and hair color were exactly the same. Instead of wondering if that's why he was helping he knew this was why he was helping her and hated it.

For a moment Raven thought it sounded like Carson was protecting him like usual and it made him laugh a little, "You sound as if you're going to beat him up for my sake."

The irony of the situation made him forget about the burning in his chest. He always protected Raven and the fact that he didn't even know it was Raven he was willing to protect only amused him.

Raven looked up at him and for a second, though he knew this was just like him to appear like some gentleman, he truly thought Carson was a good man even if he was the biggest womanizer Raven knew.

"Hmm," Carson's eyebrow arched as he watched Raven start to laugh at him for what appeared to be no reason, "What's so funny about that?" he snarled catching Raven's attention.

Raven stopped laughing as he noticed the change in Carson's mood, "Huh?"

Looking over Carson's expression he couldn't tell what happened. Carson seemed irritated by Raven laughing but that wasn't something that would usually bother him. With his brow arched and a lingering curl of his lip he was glaring down at Raven agitated which was really startling for Raven to see. He had never seen such an annoyed expression, man or woman he always wore the charming appearance unless it was with Raven Carson never broke his facade.

Carson's eyes glanced Raven over for a moment before a smug grin crept across his face, "Even with a boyfriend, I doubt he'd mind giving the circumstance."

Raven looked at him a little frightened by this change in attitude but he still didn't show any of the signs that the other's did which left him puzzled. Scared to ask he needed to know what it was Carson was talking about, "Mind wha... ah!"

A moan of pain broke off his question as the heat hit him again this time more intense than ever. He couldn't move nor speak his body trembled from the ever growing pain just under his skin like a fire was about to combust from within.

Before Raven could relax his muscles to try and calm this pain again his question was answered. Yet again he was surprised by the touch of something thin, soft, and moist pressed against his lips. Raven's eyes widened with the shock knowing this was the exact thing his father warned him not to do and something he never wanted to happen.

Raven was about to pull away when he felt the heat slowly flowing from his body through his lips from the kiss. This relief made him no longer want to move from Carson if it meant the pain was going to leave him he didn't care for the consequences at that very moment.

Carson's kiss didn't seem to end and it overwhelmed Raven quickly as he gasped for air and reached up to Carson. He felt like he was going to be devoured at this rate, what only made it worse was he could feel the venturing of Carson's hands moving up his stomach making his skin crawl. Pushing against his shoulders it was no use, Carson didn't give way making Raven panic now that the pain had gone away.

"Get off!" He managed to shout out pulling away from him for a moment closing his eyes embracing himself to be attacked again.

There was a moment of silence and Raven felt the rough callused skin of Carson's thumb graze over his lips. Carson had suddenly stopped causing Raven to open his eyes only to find Carson had a dull and confused expression looking him in the eyes.

"Raven?..." Carson questions just before his body goes limp losing consciousness falling onto Raven's lap.
