1 Maris You Brat!

It had always been unfortunate that Iris had been born a twin more painful was the fact that it was with someone like Maris.

Maris was a brat for sure, somehow she always got what she wanted, was the lucky one and of course the princess of mischief.

She always made trouble and Iris suffered it because no one could tell them apart, not even their own parents! Apart from looks, they were completely different in character. Maris was the older of the twin but she behaved like a little kid,always causing mischief and that outspoken and outgoing type.

Iris was a shy girl,an introvert. She was pretty cute and had beautiful dimples. She was intelligent and always kept to herself.

While in high school, Maris had offended a classmate using Iris's name and Iris had been ganged up against, insulted, bullied and almost beaten up instead of Maris cause no one could tell them apart . That had caused quite a ruckus between both sisters. Iris had demanded that Maris stopped using her name to cause trouble.

Another day,Maris had insulted the lunch lady and messed with the lunch she prepared. "I'm going to report you to the principal, you won't get away with this and that's a promise." The lunch lady had threatened hoping she would apologize but she didn't.

"I'm Iris Roberts, I get away with everything." Maris had said with a dimpled smile and ran off. The principal came into the class during the chemistry lesson. "Iris Roberts, you are to report to my office right this instant." The principal, Mrs Chelsea said.

Iris knew she was in for some sort of trouble, Maris the cause as always. She gathered her books into her bag and left for the principal's office.

"Iris I didn't expect such behavior from you." Mrs Chelsea started. "Ma'am I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're talking about." Iris said, she was truly confused. "Don't act ignorant with me young lady,you ought to apologize to the lunch lady right this minute for your bad behavior." Mrs Chelsea said.

"I'm sorry ma'am but I didn't do anything, I have no idea what you're talking about. I know this is Maris' doing doing, she's trying to implicate me. She's been doing this since we were little and I'm so tired of it." Iris voiced out.

Mrs Chelsea called in Maris and she denied even seeing the lunch lady much more talking to her. So,Iris was punished through detention for not owning up and apologizing for a mistake she didn't make. That was how it had always been.
