This was a pretty disappointing read. Now you might be thinking that I shouldn't say that, after all I didn't read the whole novel- I barely got through the first 10 free chapters (I am not willing to spend my money on a novel of this quality). But I don't need to read the whole novel to grasp the quality it has. This novel might suit people that just started reading novels in English or people who like novels that are filled with fluff and no real stakes. And that's all right. It just wasn't for me.
This was a pleasant surprise. When I first selected it, it was primarily because it was already completed and I wanted a fairly short romance to check out. Who knew that this was a manwha Wendy the florist which I'm currently enjoying. Its the same here, I like the no nonsense FL and the interesting ML with some funny side characters. The only issue with this is that its expensive.
This novel has one of the best combinations of fantastical elements, acknowledgement of trauma, and steadily-blossoming romance. The character development is the main focus, and the magical powers and medieval fantasy aspects are carefully woven in to allow the romance to shine while driving the story forward with interesting conflicts. I wholeheartedly recommend this novel to anyone looking for a wholesome and satisfying fantasy romance story with a strong (yet not overpowered) female protagonist.
