Mia looked at her reflection in the mirror. She was overwhelmed with emotions looking at herself.

The makeup was simple and yet she seemed so different. She touched her chin, nose and then pinched her hand. She wanted to make sure she was awake. She was busily looking at herself when she heard giggles behind her.

She faced the two who were trying to stifle their laughter. She was not mad, rather she felt heartfelt appreciation. Her eyes started to tear up from her emotion.

The two people looking behind her actions laughed at Mia, thinking it was interesting but when she started to tear up they quiet down and gave her compliments.

"This reaction is more than enough as a thank you," Hana said with a smile on her face.

The emotion Mia was showing was unexpectedly beautiful in her eyes. Although her eyes started to well up, her look made her more endearing. She took the box of tissue at the end of the table and gave it to Mia.

"Although your makeup is waterproof let's try not to smudge it, okay?" Passing the box of tissue Hana motioned Mia to take the tissue.

Mia thankfully accepted the tissue and started wiping away the tears that were about to fall.

Stephanie could not take it anymore and hugged Mia tightly. "You look great." She said as she pulled away from Mia and removed the glasses she was currently wearing, "But this will make you perfect."

Reaching for the bag at the side of the table she reached for a case. Once she opened the case, a new pair of glasses was withdrawn from the package. She gently placed the glasses on Mia's ears.

Mia looked at herself at the mirror once more. The fit was perfect. She could not say anything more as she started to sniffle.

"Good job Steph," Hana said with thumbs up. "Is this what you were doing while you were gone?"

Mia also had the same question and thought to herself. "How did she get the right prescription that was for her eyesight?"

"Yes, I took her old glasses while you were shampooing and cutting her hair," Steph said while looking at the elegant looking glasses that accentuated the shape of Mia's face, unlike her old ones which made her look like a cold and angry school principal.

Sfx *click click click flash*

Two people both looked at the person taking pictures with such delight. Stephanie was hovering around Mia while taking pictures with different angles.

"What are you doing?" Mia asked while Hana was looking curiously.

"Documenting stuff. Don't mind me. I'll send a copy to Aunty too." Stephanie replied while taking pictures of Mia.

"Too? Who are you sending them to?" Mia asked while trying to grab Stephanie's phone to look at the said "documents".

"Don't think too much about it. Let's go as it's already late." Stephanie pretended not to hear as she looked at her watch and walked away while grabbing the bag of cosmetics.

Mia stood up and gave a polite bow at Hana. "Thank you very much for your help."

"No problem. Come visit me anytime if you need anything." Hana gave Mia a wink before they parted.

Mia caught up with Steph and asked, "Are we going to get the items at the shop?"

"Don't worry about it. The items are all loaded in my car while you were in the salon." Steph linked her arm at Mia while appreciating Mia's new look.

Though it was already late, there are still some people inside the mall. They followed with their eyes as they looked at the two beautiful women walking their way while linking arms.

One looked demure and gentle with her simple dress and elegant demeanor. She looked like an angel with every smile she made while talking with the other woman. The other woman did not lose to the other girl's appearance. She might be wearing boyish clothes with her shirt, jeans and sneakers but that added more to her charm. Her soft facial structure adding the glasses that accentuated her soft long locks of hair as it waved with every move she made.

It was a sight to see two contrasting individuals with different beauty types walking side by side together while happily chatting.

Couples who are walking together could not help looking at the two. The girls were filled with envy while the guys were filled with lust. Once the women find the lusting gaze of their boyfriend's, they would hit or pinch them to get them out from their reverie and wild fantasies.

The reactions they left after their wake was something both did not realize as they enjoyed each other's company. They headed for the parking space. Stephanie did not let Mia ride the bus by herself this late at night.

Stephanie looked at Mia's profile and thought to herself, " with the way she looks right now, she would surely be in danger."
