16 The Fallen Pt. 1

Raynare stood there pensively, her eyes staring sightlessly at the ground and her arms crossed under her stacked chest as she pressed her lips together, deep in thought. Around her stood her comrades, peers, and subordinates in the form of the three other Fallen Angels ostensibly under her command. They were quite viciously discussing her failure at the moment though, so she wasn't sure how much longer her 'command' would last.

"So not only did Raynare fail to so much as approach Issei Hyoudou, Asia Argento, the wielder of Twilight Healing is now MISSING? Oh, I wonder what our Lord Azazel will have to say to that."

That was Kalawarner, a wicked smile across her face and a hand pressed to her cheek as she spoke in a mocking tone. Raynare flinched at the rebuke, though not entirely because of the reasons Kalawarner would probably assume. After all, none of the others knew that her plan to kill the human before his Sacred Gear could awaken hadn't come from Azazel at all. She'd decided to do it of her own initiative, only to end up running off with her tail tucked between her legs before she could even approach him in her schoolgirl disguise.

"Hah! We all know exactly why Raynare couldn't approach the human boy! Apparently, rather than lusting after our superiors, as is appropriate, our dear sister is now aroused by young school children! She came home with her tail between her legs, locked herself in her room, and didn't come out for hours later! Oh, but Raynare has never been quiet… we all know what you were doing in there!"

Raynare blushed scarlet and didn't dare look any of her fellow Fallen in the eye. After all, cute yet vicious and cruel Mittelt was right in every sense of the word. If only she'd been able to control her urges, Raynare could have passed off her inability to approach Issei Hyoudou as a refusal rather than her fleeing from the young man. None of her comrades need have known that as soon as she got close to him, her panties had soaked right through and she'd nearly fallen right to her knees in supplication then and there.

Unfortunately, while she'd managed to flee before involuntarily begging the human for his cock, Raynare was left feeling more arousal than she had in quite some time as she returned to the abandoned church that they now stood within. And given the rotted dilapidated walls of the slowly decaying building, even shutting the door to her room had done nothing to prevent her vocal enjoyment of the fingering she'd given herself from reaching everyone there, Fallen and Exorcists alike.

In the end it wasn't like she'd actually told any of them the truth. They'd simply come to their own conclusions about what had happened. It was just supremely unfortunate for Raynare that Mittelt's theory was basically spot-on. How could she possibly deny it when just hearing the words sent her into a spiral of shame and embarrassment?

"Issei Hyoudou is not to be underestimated. I also approached the young man with the intent to kill him once he became a devil. As you all know, I was nearly overwhelmed by his mere presence. I did not feel any lust or arousal for Hyoudou, but there is something to him, something more than just his good looks and his new status as a reincarnated devil. There is a monster within that boy, lurking right beneath the surface. Raynare's retreat may have been inadvertently wise."

That got a shudder from the female Fallen as Dohnaseek spoke up next. Trust in the only male of their group to defend her and backhand her with his words in the same breath. Even he was not fully willing to side with her after her failure… though she could imagine what the male Fallen Angel wanted in return for his renewed loyalty.

Raynare was even prepared to give it to him later, away from the eyes of Kalawarner and Mittelt. She finally looked up to see him staring at her piercingly. When their eyes met, Raynare tensed but then gave a slightly imperceptible nod, conveying an entire unspoken agreement in that one movement. The corners of Dohnaseek's mouth turned up ever so slightly and then he continued on as if nothing had happened, neither of the other two Fallen Angels in the Church with them noticing the byplay.

"While we must be careful to stay clear of Issei Hyoudou, it is Asia Argento that needs to be our priority right now. She was supposed to arrive here earlier in the day. Has she been taken by an enemy? Did she get taken by an enemy? Perhaps our biggest oversight was not having someone to meet her upon arrival in the city. Leaving a precious treasure like Twilight Healing to wander around like that… was not the smartest move."

And there went the small amount of confidence and hope that had slowly been building up within Raynare. Because once again, that was on her. As leader, she hadn't assigned anyone to guide the girl to the Church. That was more negligence on her part rather than maliciousness, but it was still her failure. Letting out a low breath as all three of her fellow Fallen turned their eyes on her, Raynare finally opened her mouth to speak, even though she still didn't know what the hell she was going to say.

"I know where she is."

That wasn't her voice or her words. Raynare, mouth still agape, looked past the three equally surprised Fallen arrayed before her to the entrance of the Church where a familiar young man with thick brown hair stood casually, his hands in his pocket. And all of the sudden, she felt it again. The urge to kneel, the urge to touch herself. It began to steadily rise in strength, far beyond what she'd felt that day as Yuuma, even as Issei stepped forward.

Kalawarner, Mittelt, and Dohnaseek all turned around and finally saw who was in their midst as well, but Dohnaseek was the only one to react as the other two female Fallen froze up in the same way Raynare did. Meanwhile their sole male peer reacted with fear instead of lust, a light spear immediately forming in his grasp. Yet he did not throw it, instead taking a step back and shuddering.

"You…"

Issei Hyoudou smiled casually, though there was a cruel glint in his eyes as he pulled one hand out of his pocket and raised it up, giving a short wave.

"Yo."

Finally, the actual words Issei had first spoken managed to register for Raynare. She grabbed onto them like a lifeline, focusing on Asia Argento rather than the overwhelming male presence in front of her.

"You know where the wielder of Twilight Healing is?"

The genial smile grows just a bit as Issei bobs his head up and down.

"Yep. I guess I accidentally intercepted her when she was on her way to you guys. She's with me now."

Raynare's mind immediately filled in the blanks on that, except the mental images that his statement evoked all had HER with Issei in them, laying beneath him, writhing in ecstasy… the black haired Fallen whimpers slightly, even as Dohnaseek speaks up.

"That's… that's fine. Keep her. We won't try to take her back."

His words and tone shock Raynare and judging by the looks on the flustered bright red faces of her female comrades, Kalawarner and Mittelt are equally shocked. Dohnaseek had always enjoyed a good fight. He had never once proven to be cowardly and in the end he was usually quite arrogant. This was so out of character for him that it was disturbing, even as they truly looked at their male peer and saw that his empty hand was shaking and his grip on his light spear was white knuckled.

Meanwhile, Issei reacted with a derisive snort, followed by a deep hearty chuckle. He threw his head back and laughed at them and Raynare fully believed that was what finally broke Dohnaseek. The Fallen Angel roared and launched himself forward with his light spear in hand and his black wings unfurled, aiming to slam it home right into Issei's chest.

Unfortunately, right at the apex of his leap, a long red draconic tail whipped out of seemingly nowhere and slammed Dohnaseek down into the church floor hard enough to embed him in it. It wrapped around his throat and began to choke him and within seconds the light spear faded away as the male Fallen Angel's concentration broke.

Issei stepped forward, the tail oddly seeming to both come from him and not, his clothing not even slightly ruffled as it reached out from behind him to strangle poor Dohnaseek. Issei rose up an arm and all three female Fallen Angels watched as it transformed into something far more draconic, as red as the tail that had their comrade by the throat.

Then, in one violent motion, the young man plunged his clawed hand down and Dohnaseek died with a gurgle as three beautiful monsters who had fallen from Heaven for their sick depravations and each fought in the Great War, looked away in disgust and horror. There was a squelching sound as Issei pulled his arm and tail back, leaving Dohnaseek's corpse to lie there, embedded in the middle of the Church floor.

His grisly task done, Issei straightened up and looked to the three Fallen Angels left before him. Raynare still couldn't find it within her to move. Even after what he'd just done to Dohnaseek, the beautiful buxom Fallen knew that if she tried to move, it would more than likely result in her falling to her knees and sticking three fingers into her cunt. Judging by the way Kalawarner and Mittelt were both still frozen as well, Raynare wasn't alone in this feeling.

Issei smiled kindly once more, though this time the expression was a bit off put by the very light spray of blood across his face and dripping off his draconic arm.

"Not to worry lovelies. I have no intention of killing any of you. I don't think I'll have to, will I?"
