Chapter 2

As I sat down on the chair something in the air changed, as if there was something that demanded attention. Without me even realizing it, there was a man sitting right in front of me. The chair, that almost looked like a throne, the one that was absolutely empty just seconds ago, was now being used by someone who looked so professional that I felt underdressed in my orange jumpsuit.

He looked like a movie star, he reminded me of Henry Cavil, the guy almost looked exactly like him. He seemed ready to attend a photo shoot. I straightened up and prepared for what I assumed was going to be the most important conversation I had ever had and probably will ever have in my life. Then the image I had for the being was broken when he spoke.

"Do you want some popcorn? How about the answers to your next test? Or how about I get rid of some of your childhood bullies? I know you might not remember them very well but I can make them disappear without an issue. If you do not want that maybe you would be interested in some money? Everyone wants to be rich. Some women? Every man wants women."

He almost sounded like a door salesman. He listed me so many offers so fast and pitched them all as if he was running out of time or something.

Was he even going to ask for my soul? I mean, there was probably something he could offer me that some people would deem it worth it. But most of what he was offering either was not worth even 5 dollars, or I could just get it with some hard work.

"How about a cell phone that doesn't exist yet? Or maybe you would like to de-age a couple of years? Some people are vain enough to want to look younger even if they are already young." Okay, maybe not 5 dollars.

"Can you please wait a moment?" I finally asked, and he shut up pretty fast. Though he kept staring at me in a way that made me very uncomfortable and aware of how much time I was wasting.

"Can you… can you make our conversation private?" Because I wanted some damn privacy, the guards hadn't even stopped looking at me like I was about to jump them with a pocket knife in the other room.

Even now he seemed to be glaring at me, at least until I asked for privacy, he started reaching out for a device strapped to his belt. And took a hold of what appeared to be a remote, but he didn't do anything.

The Henry expy though, looked a bit delighted. "Finally, someone asks for that, I thought everyone else wanted everyone to know what they wished for. Maybe they didn't know they could ask for that, I should probably tell people they can ask for private meetings with me."

He raised his hand, snapped his fingers, and suddenly, instead of being in a completely white room, with glaring white lights, and heavy looking black doors, we were instead in a really modern looking office. Something made for a CEO. The whole right wall of the room was a window that showed that we were either in a genjutsu, cuz we certainly weren't here before, or in a really, really tall building.

"Is this private enough for you?" The obviously very powerful thing said.

"Y-yeah, I think this is good." He was smiling at me in a 'I know something that you don't kinda way', I didn't like it. It was finally dawning on me that this was not a situation I was prepared for. I was so out of my comfort zone I felt like just digging a hole and staying in it for like a day or two.

"So, you either want something that the Foundation is not going to like, or you are really embarrassed for what you are about to ask. Which one is it?" There it was, the big question, what do I want? How can I achieve something humans only dreamt of doing.

"I… I want to be connected to the principle of domination." And suddenly he didn't look so happy to go lucky.

"You want me to… steal the principles of domination and give them to you? Are you mad? How would you even pay for that?" He definitely wasn't expecting that, I knew asking for that was a gamble, but really, shoot for the stars right? If he couldn't do it, or the price was so high I couldn't pay for it, he could just tell me to fuck off with my offer.

"I mean, if you can't do it…" Was trying to rile up a possible demon a good idea? Nope, not in the slightest, but the idea of dying a horrible death at the hands of some random anomaly in this godforsaken reality didn't appeal much to me.

"And who said I couldn't do it. I was just wondering how you even knew of principles and concepts, most humans don't really even think about those kinds of things."

"Well, I for one, am not originally from this multiverse. So I can't say that I think like most of the people from around here." His eyes appeared to shine for a second, and he looked almost giddy.

"This day has been so fun, I get to make 4 deals and meet a dimensional traveler, how exciting! So tell me, how would you pay me for what you want?" He began to lean forward as he spoke, almost falling off of his chair and onto the table.

"Well, how about you take a look at my memories? You can learn a lot of new things I'm very sure don't exist in this part of the multiverse." I mean, most of what I knew was rather useless information. But, for some reason, many of the things that were popular in my first life didn't exist here. I basically had a library of media in my head that was completely new to this reality.

It did make me nervous about the idea of him getting into my head, but really, I'm sure he could have done it already.

The maybe devil hmm'd and ah'd for a while. I was pretty sure that what I just offered was not enough, but we were here to make a deal, so negotiations were expected. So I just sat in what I was just realizing was a very comfy chair and thought of what other things I could offer to the man in the chair.

Though now that I had some time, I looked at the rest of the room, there were a bunch of books behind the man, and to the right a lot of miscellaneous stuff, like, a lot lot. Everything was stacked on shelves that seemed to go forever. Was there where he brought all the stuff he took from people? Hey! I can see the pink bunny.

Finally he spoke. "That is not going to be enough, I find this deal you are trying to make, too in your favor. So let me make a proposal." He looked me in the eye. He seemed very serious.

"I am going to make you an investment." And that was a surprise, was it racist of me to think that because he was possibly a devil he would want to collect what he's due as fast as possible?

"See, I do not see myself making a lot of more deals in the future if I am stuck in the facility. But you are aware of the multiverse, aware that there is more to existence than some two bit organization with thought of grandeur." He stood up, held his hands up high. He almost looked like that one meme that said: 'praise the sun!'.

"I propose that once you grow powerful enough, if you manage to survive, you grab me and deposit me in a place where I can make many more deals! Of course I want that one place to be outside of this reality cluster, since I do not wish to be contained in such a manner again. You see, I love making deals! They are the reason for my existence. If I cannot make any, I will get very bored. So, how about it? Some power with the potential to make you rival gods, for my freedom?"

I thought about that for a moment. Would this make me an enemy of the Foundation? Not necessarily, I was just going to… liberate one of their SCP. I technically would be getting rid of it for them, of course this would only happen once I'm powerful enough, but it gave me hope that maybe, just maybe, I could survive this universe. Now though, I had to concentrate on the deal. Leave the thoughts of a life without panic attacks for later.

"So to clarify, in exchange for your eventual freedom, and the ability to see what I remember of my old reality, you will give me the principles of domination? Yes?"

He had a very wide smile as he took out a paper from a drawer that was under his desk and started writing a contract. "To ensure you really do come for me, once you are able to jump out of this universe. I will contact you, incessantly if I must, and you will get me out of here."

I frowned a bit. "No, me being able to jump realities does not mean I can come and get you and then just jump. I would need to be able to first break you out without caring for the consequences, and have enough energy to transport us away from this hellhole."

He thought about that for a second, then nodded, and added that to the contract.

"Nothing else you want to add Gabriel?" This fucker was scary, I hadn't even said my name once since I woke up in the cell with the rest of the d-class personnel.

"No thank you, I'm not keen on growing my debt. I appreciate the offer though." I smiled. This was so much better than what I thought I was getting myself into.

"That is perfectly fine. Now please make sure to read everything, and sign at the end please." Said what I was beginning to remember was 'The Devil's Deal' SCP, as he passed me a parchment.

It was a beautiful thing, the letters were beautiful, the paper felt of amazing quality, even the pen he passed me next was beyond anything I had ever seen before. And so, after reading the paper at least 3 times, and just as the sun in the horizon was beginning to fall under the sea of clouds, I signed the deal.

See now I'm getting nervous about writting, and just butchering my story.

But the damn plot bunnies won't leave and I had to write something, so for as long as my imagination is able to not write complete trash, I hope y'all enjoy it.
