As usual, was dark and stuff-

With purple mixed in.

My floating buddies were here too-

Oddly they still gave me the cold shoulder- "My buddies?" I stared-

But they just went away-

"Are you an idiot!" Mitjhal fumed. "They'll suck the life out of you the moment they get a chance!"

Since I'd used dimension walk- we had an invisible platform beneath our feet- 

So, not quite floating. 

Or was this floating too?

"Huh? They kept me company and I even rode one- well… kind of…"

"You- touched them?" She paled. "And still alive?"

"I think?" I said. "Why?"

"They look like empty dirty jizz rags…" Slack mumbled…

"Because- those beings of the Void- or rather the former denizens of the Null- turns anything they touch- into themselves," Aileen said, kind of amused. "Interesting…"

"Wait I shouldn't touch them?" Slack said- almost touching a floating buddy-
