2 Chapter 2: First fight and Awakening.
Kelvin slowly turned his head, and standing a step behind him is a 6 meter tall doll, wearing a blue one-piece-dress that has yellow-polka-dots, with a string ribboned below its neck, its head bigger than the body, on its head is a polar bear hat, bluish eyes and the paws dotted with yellow dots running down the doll's head side by side, the doll had curly brown hair on the middle and the sides, eyelids are shadowed black, large golden eyes, small nose, razor-sharp teeth, gloves white and black, and pure white boots.

Phantasm is an enhanced version of chi, an energy source tied into its user's life form and will. Through proper training (e.g. Qi Gong Chi Manipulation) a person is capable of putting it to practical use. Although this power is not magic, it can give the user various superhuman abilities, most notably enhanced strength, speed, endurance, and healing.
"Seems like I can buy some abilities that allow me to build a sturdy platform floating in the air or start from the beginning and build my way up" Looking at those abilities whose price reached millions, Kelvin can only dream of the day him buying all of those abilities. Checking out others options, Kelvin can buy alien items which are pretty cool, the downside is, it is not a sci-fi one but the alienated weapons where tissues of creatures are used as materials.
It might sound overpowered but the items were just like the evil sect's artifact where they used fetus, woman, blood, sacrifice to anything they use.

Kelvin decided that for a cultivator to join the sect, they had to go through the test to awaken their phantasm. As they don't have the system, he has to summon a dolly mosquito to sting the cultivator in order to force the soul energy out of their body for the phantasm to manifest. Only 1 out of 10,000 people can survive by having their soul energy brought out. Most of the cases, the soul completely vanished causing the body to disintegrate like Thanos snapping his finger.
Once awakened, a person will be able to tap into an enhanced version of chi that the user is able to control, project out of their bodies, or use to enhance their natural physical abilities. To properly use this ability it typically requires an understanding the power and training.
To be an Arhat they have to eat the dolly mosquito and live resisting the sentient life form trying to take over their body or else succumb and become a cockroach demon that will slaughter everything. In a sense, he can only recruit strong-willed cultivators or a person so pure you'll think you're the evilest person in the world even though you help a grandma cross a street.
Remembering all the information he received, Kelvin decided to find a human civilization and start from there, and also gather for information of this world. He read a lot of Manhua/Manhwa but he could not recall reading a manga called 'A Will Eternal'.
"ROAR!"
Kelvin was about to decide which direction to walk, when a wild White Striped Tiger suddenly appears.
"Sh*t! " Kelvin could guess why a tiger would suddenly appear as he smells the blood lingering on his body.
Kelvin had no choice but to stand and fight. Running was out of the option, he is not faster than the tiger even with his improved physique that comes from the bloodline. Thinking quickly, Kelvin decided not to summon Marie as he wants to experience the fight alone, in the worst case, he'll call for her when he is close to death.
The tiger is already one step closer towards him, pouncing towards Kelvin, its paws aiming for his head. Kelvin sidestepped to the right as he kicks the tiger with his left making the tiger slid back as the force hit it, but with his meager strength, it only made a minor injury.
*ROAR!*
Rumbling roar loud as thunder, the tiger quickly charges back swiping its claws, hitting Kelvin.
*ripsss*
Howling in pain, a chunk of flesh drop down the forest floor. Quickly stepping back, Kelvin checks his wound on his chest as it already began to heal. Clashing back and forth, Kelvin's flesh keeps decreasing, the bone can already be traced on his skin, while the tiger only received bruises here and there. Feeling hopeless Kelvin could only summon Marie for help.
"MAR---"
The tiger swiped its paws and ripped Kelvin's jaws apart, the pain interrupting his thoughts. Death gets closer as the tiger keeps attacking him. Not giving him time to recover, the tiger quickly pounces toward Kelvin to finish him off. Anger flooded Kelvin's mind towards his careless attitude while knowing this is a dangerous world he was in.
"I'M TAKING YOU DOWN TO HELL WITH ME, YOU DAMN OVERSIZED CAT!" Roaring with reckless abandon, not noticing the sudden ding inside his head. Kelvin lifted one foot forward, uppercuts the tiger's chin, causing the tiger who's in mid-flight to rotate 90 degrees upwards, the tiger whimpered in pain. Kelvin quickly threw another fist towards its exposed stomach. The White Striped Tiger quickly recovers and used the inertia of the punch to rotate, and bit the incoming fist, ripping it off from his arm.
Rushing forwards, not even bothering in picking up his arm, he ducked and tackled the tiger as it claws pass over his head, bringing it down on its back. Kelvin raised his broken arm, where a sharp bone sticking out and crashed it down again, and again while roaring hysterically.

Breathing roughly, Kelvin came back to his senses as he heard the noise in his mind. Turning his head to look down, the tiger's head was full of holes.
Checking the condition of his body, bits of pieces of its flesh stuck on his clothes. Kelvin's entire right arm was turned into a mess, the damage reaching his elbow from attacking the tiger's head. His body can be said as skin and bones, regenerating those wounds means exchanging it for the remaining flesh he had, flesh that moves the body. Abandoning his mobility just for a quick fix would not be favorable in that situation or else, Kelvin will be a sitting duck at that point.
*Gulp*
Scooping a handful of flesh from the tiger, Kelvin swallowed it whole. Arhats can regenerate their body by eating raw flesh from a corpse that had just died, cooked meat and rotten flesh won't do as the cells and atoms inside are dead, making it useless for the Insects to replace Kelvin's flesh.
"The mc on the manga makes it easy, but this is freaking disgusting" Resisting the urge to vomit, Kelvin resumed shoving flesh into his mouth. Feeling his body recovering, he finally has time to look at the notification.
"So I awakened my phantasm in the middle of the fight? No wonder I can overwhelm that cat" Kelvin can't believe that he killed a 1st Qi Condensation Beast, he does not know what the stage means but he knows the difference between a mortal and a cultivator is like heaven and earth. Arhat only gives the user the ability to regenerate and a minor boost in strength. A White Striped Tiger can kill 10 or more mortal at the same time, judging by its strength. Kelvin killing it is surreal even with the help of Arhat bloodline.
Kelvin can't start cultivating even after knowing this is a cultivation world. He doesn't even know what kind of principles this world follows. Do they cultivate their body first before cultivating their dantian? Or, do they cultivate their souls to achieve immortality? Kelvin can gather Qi and cultivate blindly as his body can regenerate from the backlash, but where will he put the qi? The Dantian on the head or stomach? Maybe Soul? , but after that? There's a limit on how much a reader can comprehend.
Kelvin is lucky this time as he didn't encounter a higher staged beast, if he did, there's no way he would survive, let alone kill it. After said and done he decided to quickly stay away from the area as the battle might have attracted a higher stage beast.

A Thunderous voice suddenly echoed around the place accompanied by clapping sounds whose intention, unknown.
