I edited the third chapter a bit as I was a bit unsatisfied by the time it came to a closure, so please reread it as I have added a bit more details.

Demian was utterly helpless; although he was the strongest of the younger generation, he was no match for his father who was a seasoned warrior; he just bitterly accepted what was about to happen and closed his eyes.

*BOOM* *ZAP*

'Well, that seems odd. How come I did not even experience even a bit of the collisions force.' Demian thought. He slowly opened his eyes and saw that he was inside a pillar of scarlet flames, a hand gently grabbed his shoulder as a voice said 'Don't worry, as long as I am alive no one will harm you, not even your own father.' Demian knew who it was, he turned around and said 'Mother, you have to stop, if you continue your actions you will be labeled a traitor not just by the Family but by the whole world, you will be executed.' Demian tried his best to persuade Martha to stop, but it was all in vain, Martha kept Defending Demian from the Onslaught of attacks targeted at him.

'MARTHA!!!! Heed your actions right this instant' shouted Kussnar, as he released a stream of lightning aimed at Demian and Martha. The stream of lightning and the pillar of fire collided, resulting in an explosion and flying debris.

Everyone looked at the point where Demian and Martha were supposed to be, most of them felt that it was over, Kussnar was their strongest Ancestor, even the chief would not be able to defeat him. However, those who knew about Kussnar's opponent were standing with their guard up because they knew she wouldn't go down this easily.

'Not bad, not bad at all.' Martha's voice echoed in the area.

'Come out here and fight me if you have the guts to do so.' said Kussnar. The shock in his voice was clear; he knew Martha was strong but, he had no idea she was this strong.

'Ohh, be patient, you mustn't force a lady' Martha Giggled.

'Why you!!??!!' Kussnar gritted his teeth.

'Martha, stop! I am already loosing one member of my family today, I don't want to lose another.' said Haedan while trying to persuade Martha.

'Ohh can it. You didn't even hesitate before killing your son in the name of the greater good, how can you talk about family and feelings.' refuted Martha furiously.

'So be it.' said Kussnar.

'Qirin!!!' shouted Kussnar as he unsheathed a Katana and threw it into the air. Suddenly a thunderbolt fell on Katana as dark clouds appeared in the sky.

*ROOOOOOOOOAAAARRR*

A dragon's roar came from the Katana that shook both the sky and the ground. The Katana started emitting a blue glow, as cracks beganstarted appearing in the nearby space. These cracks formed a portal right above the Katana. A dragon claw came out, as it moved around making the portal bigger and bigger, another dragon claw came out, and both these claws continued to devour the nearby space making the portal bigger and bigger.

*ROOOOOOOOOAAAARRR*

Another roar came from inside the portal, as dragon's head came out of it. The Dragon gripped the nearby space with its claws as it applied more force and finally came out of the portal. The Dragon was hundreds of meter long and its girth was a bit more than ten meters. As it flew around in the sky, the number of thunderclouds kept on increasing; many weak disciples felt as if a god has descended upon their world and could end it on a whim. It had white scales and red eyes, its teeth and claws were razor sharp, all in all, the dragon looked very intimidating.

'Good showmanship but, is that all you have?' taunted Martha.

'Patience little girl, patience.' said Kussnar. He raised his hand, just as he raised his hand, numerous sparks of lightning started appearing on the skin of Qirin, it opened its jaw, and the sparks started accumulating in front of its mouth. Kussnar lowered his hand, and Qirin released all the accumulated energy while targeting Martha.

Demian was standing behind Martha with his eyes wide open; he never imagined that Kussnar could be this strong if this attack so much as even touches him and Martha, they will be vaporized.

A smile appeared on Martha's face as she whistled loudly as if calling a dog. Demian was stupefied, and he looked at his mother in disbelief.

*HOWWWWWWWWWLLLLL* *BARK* *BARK*

Suddenly, the sounds of barking and howling occupied the atmosphere, the ground in front of

Martha started crumbling and falling as flames started erupting from the hole formed, the whole kept getting bigger and bigger, it was like a gateway to hell. However, the lightning attack was just a few feet away from them, Demian had given up all hope, he just looked at his mother in disbelief as she was completely relaxed, not even showing a hint of unease or fear.

Suddenly a black shadow jumped out from the flaming hole and collided with the lightning head on. The lightning disappeared, and the black shadow was clearly visible. It was a dog with three heads, it was five meters long and three meters tall, its muscles were clearly visible, it also had large and sharp canines, and flames were erupting from all three of its mouths.

'This, this i-is, Cerberus one of the Heralds of Ahina, The Ruler of Underworld.' someone from the crowd recognized this creature.

Martha walked up to Cerberus and patted one of its head 'Just in time.' She said while smiling kindly, Cerberus saw Martha and Licked her face, however just as the second head was about to do the same Martha stopped it and said 'Ughhh!!!! How many times do I have to tell you not to do this, the smell does not go away for like days.' Hearing this Cerberus Stopped and lowered the head that was about to lick her. 'Hey, I was not scolding you, it's just that my son and I are kind of in a tight spot right now, so first help us get through this mess, then we can celebrate us meeting after so long.' Hearing this Cerberus was ecstatic, it barked in response and then looked at the Qirin in the sky ferociously, Cerberus opened its mouth and started inhaling a huge quantity of air. It then closed its mouth, and steam started coming out of its nostrils. It then opened all three of its mouths and launched three beams of scarlet flames that combined into one forming a colossal beam of fire and traveled rapidly, its speed rivaled the speed of the Lightning attack released by the Qirin. The Qirin also Fired a Lightning beam towards the beam of fire, although the lightning element was the strongest of all the elements due to its speed and destructiveness. However, when it came to pure destructive power, the fire element was the one on top of the chain, and when combined with the speed provided to it by wind, Fire element became an unstoppable force.

Both the beams collided with one another, which resulted in a massive explosion that blew away everything and everyone, the family mansion was in ruins, the nearby forests and mountains were all destroyed, trees uprooted, rocks crushed, many of the weaker disciples were severely injured, and some even lost their lives.

'Hurry up Cerberus, we need to get away from here before they find out.' said Martha. Using the Debris flying around as a cover, she and Demian, slipped away while using Cerberus as a mount.

Cerberus barked and speeded up. Demian was sitting behind Martha, he could not believe that his mother was this strong, she was probably even stronger than his father.

*ROOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRR*

A dragon's roar reverberated in the area.

'Do you think I am this naive? Did you really believe you could get away so easily?' Kussnar was fuming with anger, it would bring great shame to his name if he would let Martha get away. There was only one option for her, and that was death.

A frown appeared on Martha's face, she was confident enough that she could stall Kussnar for an extended period of time, but she knew that she could not defeat him, and the battle between her and Kussnar would give away their Location which would result in a catastrophe for both her and Demian.

She turned around and looked at Demian 'Demian, I don't care about what the rest of the world thinks, I know you are many things, but evil is not one of them. From today onwards, the whole world is going to consider you as an enemy, remember to trust, but also be careful at the same time.' She then removed a necklace she was wearing, it resembled a crucifix. She placed the necklace on Demian's palm and said 'Take care of Cerberus, he is yours now.' She then looked at Cerberus and said 'Don't be too hard on him. He has a lot to learn. Take care of him for me.' she caressed Cerberus head, Cerberus whined as he understood that was probably the last time he was seeing Martha. Martha then placed her hand on Demian's head and caressed his hair 'No matter what happens, I will always be proud of you.' She then stood up, Demian Looked at her and said 'Mother, don't, you don't have to do this, I will just give myself up. If someone has to die, let it be me, it is my fault that all of this is even happening.' Martha looked at Demian and said ' I have lived a long and plentiful life, you are still too young to die, and the guilt of not being able to avenge her still haunts me so, please let me just save one of my children.' Said Martha in a heavy voice.

She then jumped down and tapped the ground saying 'Nar Khatifa.' A hole appeared in front of Cerberus, he jumped down the hole and then the hole completely vanished, there was not even a single trace of it left.

Martha stood there, looking at the horizon 'I am sorry, I wish I could tell you the truth.' She then turned around and ran in a different direction.
