8 A strange meeting.

Demian rolled his eyes on such a reply, he gave Abaddon a light glare and said 'What's with all this mysteriousness and puzzles, why can't you for just once give me a straight answer.' Demian started ranting as he walked towards the door in front of him, 'I am getting tired of you always trying to look so cool.' He continued ranting as he grabbed the doorknob and abruptly by pulled the door, acting as if he was outraged. During all this Abaddon was just standing still and smiling.

Just as Demian flung open the door, a light gleamed as a katana suddenly appeared right before him, aiming at his jugular notch, before Demian could react in any way the katana was already touching his flesh and a small thin red line appeared on his neck, even a slight thrust would penetrate his flesh and would result in a grave injury. Demian was horrified, as he was not able to sense any intent or bloodthirst while opening the door or even before the attack was launched, this level of skill was even higher than Kussnars', and for him, Kussnar was the epitome of human strength. Thus, right now, he was terrified and completely out of his senses, his eyes were wide open in fear, a film of sweat appeared on his forehead, as his mouth kept mumbling.

Demian took hold of himself and traced his eyesight towards the hilt of the katana and looked the person standing in front of him. It was a pale looking girl; she had long, emerald hair with a pale rose and off-white tint. She had reddish brown eyes with purple colored rings around her cornea. She was thin and quite average when it came to height, she was wearing a quartz colored sailor uniform, it was a bit oversized for her, she also wore thigh high matching stockings.

'Clotilda, calm down, he's with us.' said Abaddon. The girl abruptly looked at Abaddon as the purple colored rings in her eyes disappeared, she then withdrew her katana and stepped back.

Demian was still frozen solid in one place; all his senses always kept screaming danger. *Patt* Abaddon lightly patted Demian's shoulder, 'It's alright.' Abaddon's said in an assuring voice. Demian suddenly jolted back to his senses. His face was drenched in sweat, he hurriedly wiped off the sweat and looked at the girl standing only a couple of feet away, he gulped as he slowly turned towards Abaddon.

'Why didn't you stop me?' Demian asked in a wimpy voice.

'Well... it seemed fun.' Abaddon slightly grinned.

'Are you for real???!!!!' Demian was shocked. Abaddon just Grinned.

'This wuss is supposed to be his descendant?' a voice came from the dark of the room.

'Oh my, what a letdown.' another voice followed.

'Come on, don't step on him like that, he's the youngest one of us.'

'Yeah, yeah.'

Suddenly, several powerful auras wildly lashed out in the room as various figures walked out of the shadows.

Nine people were standing in front of Demian; they were emitting powerful auras, Demian noticed that three of the auras were on par with Anyos'; he was stupefied.

The nine people stood in front of him, they were relatively young, and two of them were nearly his age but were far stronger than him. A spatial crack appeared in front Demian as an Old man walked out of it. Demian was not able to sense any aura from him. The man had long silver hair which ended just above his shoulder. He had sea green colored eyes and had slight wrinkles under his eyes. He wore a Beige yukata under a black mantle with white borders. He held a wooden cane in one of his hands. He appeared a bit muscular and was taller than average.

*Wham* The man slammed the ferrule of his cane on the ground. Suddenly, Demian lost control of his body as he felt a force pulling him towards the man in front of him. His feet and ground slowly separated as he flew towards the man in front of him.

*SWOOOSSSSSHH*

Demian arrived right before the group in front of him, 'A bit underwhelming, but well within expectations.' said the main as he was looking Demian straight in his eyes, Demian felt as if his whole being was being looked through like he was nothing. He started sweating profusely, as his heart rate and breathing elevated.

'Calm down. No one will harm you.' said the man to Demian in a calm voice.

'Yeah? Tell that to the guy who didn't have a blade at his neck the moment he walked in and now isn't floating in front of you.' said Demian. Hearing this, the man frowned and gravely looked at Demian. Demian felt a chill down his spine, he was terrified, but he chose not to show it and looked back with a stern expression on his face.

'What?' Demian asked in a soft voice, trying to maintain a stern expression.

*Pfttt* 'Ahahaahahaahahahaha!!!! Fiesty one aren't you. I like him.'

*THUD* Demian fell down, he stumbled as he tried to maintain his balance.

'Nice meeting ya' kid, I am Madelhari.' the man in front him smiled as he grabbed Demians' shoulder to help him gain balance.

'Abaddon, let's show him around, time is short, and he has a lot to learn.' Madelhari said as he looked at Abaddon.

'Show me around?' Demian was confused.

Both Abaddon and Madelhari looked and Demian and gave him a slight grin.

Demian shivered. 'Oh, boy, I am going to regret this, right?' Clotilda, who was standing a bit away from the group, walked over and stood next to Madelhari, 'Finally decided to join the party, huh?' Madelhari looked at Clotilda and gave a goofy smile, Clotilda glared at Madelhari, he abruptly looked away as if he was scared.

*ahem* *ahem* 'Now that everyone is here, let's go.' said Madelhari. He raised his cane, and again slammed the ferrule of his cane on the ground twice. A large golden halo appeared behind his back as his body was covered by a thin white membrane, golden white light started pulsing from his body.

'Oh, boy, it's gonna be fun.'

'Yeah.'

'Hurry up, Madelhari.'

The people standing behind Madelhari started getting rowdy.

The pulsing light started forming a pillar of light, enclosing everyone. The intensity of light grew so intense that Demian had to close his eyes.

*BOOM*
