Four warriors floated in the air, including the blue armoured general who ran previously. These are Daniels Middle Rank 2 Warriors.
Samuel is definitely lacking in top combat power. He only has one Middle Rank 2 Warrior here, Serpentine Samuel.
So Samuel would definitely need one of his Eternal guards to fight the rest of the Middle Rank 2 Warriors.
There are only a few Low Rank 2 Warriors, SS1, SS2, SS3 and A1001. But on Daniel's side there are at least ten!
Samuels special summons could take two but A1001 might struggle to beat one, especially if they have artifacts.
So Samuel helplessly had to have Serpentine Samuel take on the rest of the Low Rank 2s warriors.
The battle began with the top combat power. They flew into the air and ran into the distance to begin fighting.
Samuel took on Daniel himself, while EG1 took on the attendant.
EG2 took on all four Middle Rank 2 Warriors while the rest of the warriors found their opponents.
The battle burst out instantly. The Four Middle Rank 2 Warriors immediately found themselves losing.
Quickly the Blue Armoured General pulled out his Fire Orb Artifact, while the other three pulled out their unique Artifacts.
Soon EG2 was being bombarded by a strange summoned ghoul brought by a a bone flute, and a large cage that tried to trap him.
And a strange sickly figure pulled a giant coffin behind him, when he slammed it against the ground a creepy corpse crawled out.
Samuel saw it and felt it was a pity. Although he can afford some basic artifacts, combat artifacts are exponentially more expensive, especially if they have better effects.
However he was also relieved that these were all Low Mortal Artifact. Even with the four artifacts, the best they could do was keep EG2 at bay.
Relieved that EG2 wouldn't lose, Samuel was able to focus on his opponent.
Daniel was definitely a tough competitor. Samuel hadn't even attacked him yet, but already he could see a golden crown on his head glowing with a gold light.
The light spread out covering his body, forming a thin translucent film.
''So unconfident?'' Samuel sneered.
''Haha when you have enough money to spend on Artifacts, then you can come fight me.'' Daniel mocked.
This reassured him even more that Samuel in front of him was just some Branch member of a family, when he first started he invested all his profits in training his army.
But when he realised it didn't protect him at all, he spent all his money on purchasing artifacts from his family.
As he spoke a black bone ring lit up, slowly it expanded forming a giant black shield. At the same time Samuel saw the attendant behind Daniel also holding the same black ring.
''As expected of an Ancient Family. Even their branch members has a mass produced artifact.'' Samuel was slightly jealous.
But he wasn't worried. Although Artifacts are powerful, they take a lot of energy to maintain. And Samuel was confident in his own combat power.
Within an instant a spear appeared in Samuels hand. Similar rings of light began to appear around the spear.
At the same time, Samuels body glowed faintly grey! This was the Iron Body Skill that he collected a while ago.
Instantly his body burst out with record speed.
Daniel panicked, raising his black ring shield in front of him. But it wasn't enough to stop the force from Samuels hit.
His arm twisted painfully as the shield was knocked back. The spear continued towards Daniel's body, but as the tip of the spear reached a centimetre away from Daniel it was stopped by the golden light.
''Pah, I didn't expect you to have warrior skills but you can't underestimate me.'' Daniel spat out some blood as he pulled out a Pseudo-Artifact sword.
At least he didn't have an Artifact weapon.
But what came next caused Samuels eyes to open and prepare his defence immediately.
A stream of light began to appear around the sword. Samuel could clearly see a wisp of golden light spinning around the sword.
Then it flew out. The golden stream formed into a giant elephant over ten metres tall.
Samuel saw the giant elephant fly towards him, he immediately urged his Spiritual Lake. The previously calm Lily Pads vanished and reappeared like a green wall in front of Samuel.
But just this little movement caused Samuel to sweat slightly. However the seemingly flimsy Lily Pad wall was struck desperately by the large elephant.
Samuel watched as the Lilypad wall bent inwards, but slowly they returned to their ordinary shape.
He learnt he could still use these Lily pads as a defence. They came off of the Tree that was in his abdomen, and each of them held power comparable to half of the tree's strength!
Such growable Artifacts are incredible, half of a High Rank 2 Warriors strength is still much higher than a Middle Rank 2 Warrior.
Unfortunately they can only be used for Defence.
''You actually blocked it? I underestimated you.'' Daniel was sweating after that move. But he pulled out some blue pills from his pocket and swallowed them.
Surprisingly Samuel saw that the previously exhausted Daniel recovered rapidly.
But it gave Samuel enough time to charge up. The duo exchanged hundreds of attacks in less than five minutes.
EG1 and the Attendant saw their masters fighting. Then they looked at each other.
EG1 had an artifact himself so he wasn't afraid. He pulled out his blood sword and showed a savage look towards the Attendant.
No words were shared between the servants. They both burst out with their strongest attacks immediately.
The Attendant's weapon of choice was surprisingly a Fan, unfortunately he doesn't have any Artifacts other than the Shield.
In fact, the Attendant is very poor for a High Rank 2 Warrior. Such a man should be wealthy but he was forced to serve a rich man for no benefits.
Although EG1 is also serving Samuel, Samuel definitely isn't stingy with his rewards. Whenever someone finds a valuable resource they get first choice.
Not to mention the Trial Tower provides a lot of Pseudo-Artifacts for Warriors to choose from.
But the Attendant was still loyal. He brandished his fan and the fights in the air began.
Meanwhile the Rank 1 Warriors also began to fight. The Simpson warriors climbed down from their walls to make full use of their formations.
But this also allowed Samuels soldiers to make use of their numbers. They leapt two to one against each of the soldiers.
Slowly but surely the wounds on all of the Simpson warriors started to stack up. Even if it is shared between thousands of people, constant spears to the head and the heart stacked up.
And the downside of the Formation appeared here. Once the injuries start to stack up, the wounds affect all of the warriors.
Blood poured down all their bodies, their actions were limited. But they were still well trained.
Even with all of the injuries, they still mowed down countless Dogs of War. The biggest losses appeared on the most recently summoned warriors.
Samuel felt heartache when he watched the battle below. All of these where his precious Dogs of War.
