Samuel managed to piece it together from that. Marcus intentionally destroyed his own soul in order to awaken the body of Gargion and take revenge on Samuel.

But this also prevented the body of Gargion properly resurrecting.

Samuel wanted to ask Auna, who was reborn, about whether she knew anything about it. But when he did get into contact with her he was disappointed.

She was too weak when she was older, even with the benefits of being Reborn she knew very little.

So Samuel just had to guess. But based on the normal growth path of a protagonist, Marcus should've awakened Gargion unintentionally and then fought against him for a thousand rounds.

He was incredibly handsome, but more noticeably all the black robed figures acting as guards seemed to have seen a god.

They knelt down before returning to their position.

Rebecca realised quickly that even if this man isn't the leader, he is definitely an important person.

''Ah Rebecca is it? I have an offer for you.'' Samuel picked up a seat opposite.

''Be my woman, I can give you more resources than you have ever imagined. I promise that you can have 200 Warriors follow you around at any point. They will do anything that you want.''

''The only requirement is that you belong to me, completely.'' Samuel laid out his conditions.

When Rebecca heard this she was stunned. She didn't expect that the cause of all this was that he wanted her as his woman.
