10 Butterflies

CHAPTER 9

"Doctor Ford, go to my office."

"Y-Yes, doc." my eyes hit Mj, he have no emotion and seems just waiting for my reaction

I smiled at him to say I would be okay even if my overthinking eaten me up.

I took a deep breath and followed doc Dam.

I felt someone following me but I didn't turn it around because of nervousness and thinking of what to say to doc dam.

What if he scold Mj too because he didn't stop me from doing that? I hope doc Dam won't scold him just because of me.

I knocked on the door first before entering. "I apologize for what I did, I know that I'm just an intern but if we still waited for you he might die." I said.

"But you are just an intern! What what would you do if you made a mistake in what you did huh?!" He come close to me but the door in my back open.

"Doc, im apologizing for what she did. It is my fault, not my intern's, doc." Mj said straight to his face.

"Mj- No, I mean doc I'm sorry I interfered your patient." i said while looking down.

"No, Anatasia. This is my fault not yours. I am your senior." he just nodded to me and looked at doc Dam whos looking at us confused.

"You can go out now, doc Ford." I breathed a sigh of relief when I heard that, when Im at outside Mj would have come out as well but suddenly doc Dam called him and said he had something more to say to him.

"h-huh?"

"Go, wait me at cafeteria." he said.

"Oh my god, what if he would scold you? just because of me—"

"He will not. Go. Order for me." he whispered to me then chuckled and closed the door.

I smiled. I am vegeterian but why my stomach is full of butterflies?

I ordered foods, cafeteria is full so i guess i'll just deliver this to his office. I didn't order 'cause i still have something to do.

"I just probably left notes." after i write, the door opened and doc Rhys popped up. We both shocked.

"Miss intern? what are you doing on Mj's desk?" he said while smirking.

"Oh! I'll just leave this food that I ordered for him. He told me to buy him something but i still have something to do so i can't keep up with him."

"Aww that's sad. Gonna say that to him when he returns, don't yah worry, my lady." he said.

I just awkwardly smiled at him and then left. He's weird.

I go to clinic and then find my patient.

"Oh! Hi Ms.— ahmm..." i looked at the chart to see her name. "... Clark. Ms. Clark."

"I think i...." she hiccups. "...have acid reflux, doc..." i massage lightly her stomach with my hand.

"And the hiccups..." she hiccups again. "...come and go." after i massage her i call nurse.

"Nurse Jay! Chlorpromazine please."

"What... is that?" she hiccups. "Am i crazy?" hiccups again.

"No..." i chuckled. "It's used as an anti-psychotic."

"Oh.." she hiccups.

"But it's helpful with hiccups. Don't worry after i inject you with this, you won't go crazy." i smiled to her. She chuckled to me and the hiccups again.

I go to her back and then inject the drug. She slightly flinch so i question her if she's okay but she said "i'm okay."

"Nice! Thanks doc no hiccups haha." she smiled to me. Omg, she smiled to me!

"You're so gorg Ms. Clark."

"Oh thank you! so you are. But sadly i'm already taken." she said jokily.

I let her to tell me a story 'cause after this im going home.
