10 chapter 10- Growth and Embarkments

I was checking again and again, making sure to pack every little and necessary thing left.

The previous night had been heavy, I brought down my luggage which had been in the store room for ages it seemed, and got rid of all the dust, spider webs and what not.

'Laptop, pen drive ,hard drive, check!'

Charger, check!

Turned off all of the lights and checked all accessories, incense sticks anything that would possibly burn my coats and my Louis Vuitton pants. I used to be pretty obsessed with pants, coats blazers, thought they made me look more , somewhat man like , fidgeted with my wrist watch a couple of minutes and set out.

The train was expectedly late, I hopped on and searched for my seat.

In no time I found myself at the station.

I searched for a cab and finally got one , it drove past through those aisles hastily and I recollected the lost memories , pictured a younger version of me with Reema , chasing herds of cows that drove through the corn field  , for a moment I experienced kalposia, everything seemed sweet as honey , memories were playing in my mind and finally I reached my destination.

The figures of the three Hindu deities had torn down, almost to mud , the bright contrasting colors all worn out , and the entrance was still the same , the gate made the same old crunching noise, I went upstairs to her room , and witnessed that she was arguing with her maid over

the fact that she hated citric fruits , and their juices mashed into.

Her attitude did not change at first , she won her argument and her maid left her room , she looked at her fruit basket and asked me

'So you've finally got to know the heavy word, promise?' she said with a rather awkward timbre .

' yeah, I guess so' I replied.

'You hung up pretty soon the other day, I thought u might never want to catch another glimpse of me again' I said looking all around her room that had changed so much within these few years.

'Ummm, actually I want to talk to you about it' she said hastily sitting up.

' Listening!' I replied.

' He called me up to ask me if he could come back home, home to me ..' she said distinctively , with a gloomier voice.

'I'm sorry, who's coming? I didn't quite catch you!'  I said fidgeting with her almirah.

'My husband, Nischit , Tarun wants to come back.'
