5 Chapter 4: We Meet Again

Kristine's POV

" Uhmm Ma'am KC okay lang po ba kayo? Para po kasi kayong nakakita ng multo " agad naman akong bumalik sa sarili at tumingin sa sekretarya..

" I'm okay, thank you " huminga muna ako ng malalim bago pinihit ang door knob.

Pagkabukas ko nakita ko siya, kaharap niya si manager. Ngumiti ako at tinignan siya na parang ngayon lang kami nagkakilala.

" Oh you're here ! Come. " napatingin naman ako sa manager ko.

Naglakad ako papunta sa kanya. Tinignan ko siya sa mata, I tried not to break an eye contact with him " Oh ! So you are the president of LeXin Company ! By the way I am Kristine Courtney but you can call me KC. " I smiled as I offered my hand to him and he gladly accepted it.

" Yes I am Alexander Hernandez, the president of this company. " then he smiled. He's pretending too, good job at least tinupad niya ang hiling ko dati." Why do I have the feeling that we've met before Ms. KC?? Hmmmmmm. " he asked while smirking and I froze, no one knows that I'm divorced even my manager and I know him, he's playing around.

" I'm pretty sure we haven't met before Mr Henderson. " I said flatly to him " And by the way it's nice to meet you Mr. Henderson, pwede ko na bang kunin ang kamay ko? " para naman siyang napaso, hahaha pagkasabi ko kasi sa kanya non binawi niya agad ang kamay niya at kunwaring kinamot ang ulo niya. Ganyan din siya noon, I guess old habbits die hard.

" Sorry. Take a seat. " he said, umupo naman ako sa tabi ni manager " Thank you for signing the cotract. I can't wait to work with you Ms. KC. " he playfully smiled at me " And to you too Ms. Joyce " he added

" Our pleasure Mr. Henderson " sabi ni manager Joyce " But there is something we need to say."

"What is it Ms. Joyce? " bakit parang pakiramdam ko ang sexy ng pagkakasabi niya non. Tsss sabagay FLIRT na siya dati pa. Pero pati ba naman ang manager ko lalandiin niya, at sa harapan ko pa?? Ano naman ngayon kung maglandian sila Kristine?? Aissshh ano ba to kinakausap ko na ang sarili ko !!

" Uhmmm it's about the contract we signed. Can we renew it? I mean we thought it will take a month only. "

" Oh about that ? My apology Ms. Joyce, my secretary made a mistake about the contract. It was supposed to be a 1-year contract. I am so sorry to say this but we can't renew it. " he said as he gaze at me. " But I guess it will not take a year if we will immidiately finish all our modeling schedules. Is it okay to you Ms. KC ?? " iniwas ko ang tingin ko mula sakanya, kung makatitig naman kasi eh. I still don't know kung bakit niya ginagawa to. Di ba siya nga ang nagpalayo sa akin dati mula sa kanya??

" It's ok Mr. Henderson. So can I start tomorrow?? " tanong ko.

" Yes of course " he said. Mas maganda ng simulan bukas para matapos na to agad.
