31 31. Should I believe you?

Raya just showing sad smile while keep staring Duncan. Her eyes almost blur by tears that keep increase to force fall to her small and cute face. Comparing with seductive face that belong Dora, her face looks like childish when without make up.

Her brain feel likes stop working, she even doesn't know what she was thinking at the moment. Duncan's word make her dumbfounded enough. In the past, Duncan never bother to coax or even care about whatever she feels. Slowly Raya turn her gaze avoiding him and pull her body away.

"You better back to rest and I''ll be here" Raya's silence and indifferent attitude scare him enough. Duncan try to hold whatever he feels and try to persuade her back to sleep and tuck her blanket covering her body gently. Deep down in his heart, Duncan knows that what had he done before left big scar in Raya's heart. He just hope everything will be better and Raya will open her heart for him once again as before.

Meanwhile Raya feels tired and have no energy, slowly close her eyes while mumbling to herself, "Should I believe you". Even though her voice so small and almost can't hear at all, unfortunately Duncan hearing is sharp enough to any voice. His body freeze a second and his hand that will pet her back hanging for awhile before touch her after hearing what she said.

He knows very well how he destroy her trust for him completely. He smiled bitterly staring Raya's sleeping face that little bit looks pale. His hand slowly move to her face and stroke her face gently. Duncan slowly get closer and closer until there is almost no space between his and her face. He kiss her forehead gently while whispering softly and passionately close her ear. "Please believe me again. No matter what happen in the future, I will always by your side and will always keep your trust and love dearest. Lose you..." Duncan pause his word for awhile staring Raya's face sleep. In second, the memory of past life when he saw her close her eyes forever with the bloody body flashed in his head. "Lose you.....is just like hell for me."

Lose her in the past life also become his deepest regret and miserably life all those years. Duncan slowly lay down beside her while keep hugging and kiss her gently. He hug tightly enough as if Raya will fly away from his embrace and his side in second.
