6 The show has just begun

Ella woke up with a scream, clutching her face, drenched with sweat. The nurse ran towards her as to see what happened and she was quite shocked to see Ella staring at her hands while her eyes sank into such horror. The nurse couldn't help but feel bad for the poor girl.

"It's okay now!" she comforted her as she sat next to her in order to calm her down. Ella was now in a hospital gown, and her injuries were now healed with not a single wound on her body left. But the damage to her psyche was done.

"Your friends brought you here, make sure to thank them later! If not for them you might have been left with some scars, and a girl as pretty as you wouldn't want that." The nurse smiled upon Ella while pouring her a glass of water. She knew exactly what had happened and this wasn't a new thing for her.

Students such as her went through even more painful things and that was the sad reality of this place. "Rest for as long as you like, your friends said they'd visit you soon." She told her before walking away into her office.

Ella sat on the bed with a deep frown on her face all the while looking out of the window. "Friends…" she said with a sigh remembering how the last friend she made turned out to be a person who used and threw her aside, stating she was trash. Thinking about this, Ella's frown went deeper. Now that she was all healed she wanted to leave the place, never to show her face around. Ever. These were her thoughts until the door to the nurse's office opened.

"But your ability is way too handy!" said a man with a heavy voice, reacting to which Ella quickly covered herself with the blanket. "It's not good to use them every time!" replied another man. This voice was softer, a lot softer than the other gruff voice. She could hear the steps moving towards her and as she slowly removed the blanket to see who it was, she met with a sight that changed her life.

"Oh she woke up!" said Robert, suddenly seeing a bulky seven feet tall man scared Ella and she hid behind the blanket again. "Quit scaring her! You look like a demon, you idiot!" Eric mockingly said as he pushed Robert away from the bed's edge.

Ella was now met with the sight of a silver-haired boy, he had a gentle look to his eyes and Ella knew who he was. Who wouldn't, it was Eric Sterling. Eric Sterling, famous for being the worst of the worst. He was the outcast that showed no remorse for being one, he was on bad terms with every high-grade student and is hated by almost the whole of Divine Gate Academy.

What did he even do? Before she could even finish thinking, Eric extended his hands towards Ella and said "Nice to meet you, I am Eric Sterling and that big bastard is Robert Leonard. We were the ones that brought you here". Ella took a few seconds, but still couldn't understand what was happening, but deciding otherwise, she grabbed Eric's hand and shook it. "Now that makes us friends!" shouted Robert as he walked towards the two of them.

Ella told them everything that happened and how today she was just having the worst day of her life. This was the moment Ella suddenly remembered something and shouted with shock. This took Robert and Eric by surprise making them almost jump up."A-Aren't you senior Robert Leonard!?" she asked in her bewilderment.

"That would be me" replied Robert, "I thought we already did the introductions?" replied Eric mockingly. "Why are you here!? You are the next heir to The Order Of The True Sky! Why is Eric Sterling around you!?" Ella couldn't believe what she was seeing. The next heir to one of the most prominent sects in the federation and it's next head was hanging around her. Thinking that she drew the short stick today Ella prepared for the worst.

"Allow me to fix your misconceptions, I am not the one who is hanging around him. This muscle brain wanted to hang around me." Said Eric. "Oi!? Who are you calling a muscle brain? I am the one to lead The Order Of The True Sky to greatness!" replied Robert.

"Looking at how you are the next heir, I am pretty sure the sect is going to come to an end," Eric said mocking Robert. "What do you mean to say!? Huh!? At least I am not an insect that crawls out of holes!" said Robert as he caught Eric by his collar.

"Oh, I think you are too dumb to understand anyway and who are you calling an insect? You hog!" replied Eric catching Robert by his collar and looking him back dead in his eyes. Their fight was suddenly stopped by Ella laughing out loud. Looking at the girl cheering up, both of them were happy and they waited for her to speak.

After talking for a few more hours that seemed like minutes, the trio was already a group of best friends. "I can't believe Senior Robert is such a nice guy. To even allow Senior Eric to-" Ella wanted to speak something but she was cut off with Eric clicking his tongue in irritation.

"As I said before Ella, I am not the one who hangs around him. It's the other way around" To which Robert just shrugged off and mocked Eric. To this Ella started laughing again, it was a scene that she thought she'd never see. A man such as Robert talking among people such as herself.

After thanking the nurse, the three of them left off together. "Eric, you can totally drop us off! Come on!" said Robert. "Shut up Robert! I am not using my powers for that." Replied Eric annoyed of Robert asking him the same again and again. As they approached the gate, Ella suddenly stopped. Looking back with confusion, Eric and Robert look at Ella.

"What's the matter?" Eric asked furrowing his brows. "Senior please continue without me, I forgot something…" she said with a frown as she grabbed her right arm with her left hand. "No we can't j-" Robert spoke but was cut off by Eric who spoke in a louder voice while keeping his hand on Robert's shoulder. "Alright! We will see you later Ella. Take care!" he said with a smile as a portal opened right beneath them. "Wait! Nooooo!" Robert's screams were drowned out as the portal closed.

"You dirty b-" Aimee shouted but she was cut off by Anna who slowly walked from the shadows to where Ella was. "So I see that you are hanging around that lowlife Eric Sterling. I wouldn't be surprised" she said as she flicked Ella's hairs. "Why were you around young master Robert? Did you tried to seduce him with your body?" she said as she began running her hands down her neck before walking in front of her.

"Tell me, Ella. How did trash such as yourself come to be on the good side of a man as great as young master Robert?" she said as three girls came behind her and started laughing on her. "TELL ME YOU LITTLE SL*T! OR I'LL KILL YOU" Anna shouted as she grabbed Ella by her hairs. "She is asking something. Why don't you answer? You know how bad Anna can get when she is angry." Said another girl who stood behind her. "He saved me earlier when I was injured" answered Ella in a broken tone.

As soon as she said this, all the girls surrounding Ella started laughing. When suddenly Anna clapped and said "That's the young master for you! Saving even people such as you, but too bad we can't have you get too close to young master". Slowly walking towards Ella, Anna slowly brought her hand towards her forehead and a formation glowed with a dark blue hue on her hand.

At this instant, a blackish hole suddenly came out in front of the girl and before she could even react, a blur came out of the hole before and every girl except Ella and Anna were now flying away from the centre of the field where they were standing. Before Anna could react, from above with great force, Robert fell down with his hands folded causing Anna to fall backwards

Anna was now on the ground and in front of her stood Robert with his arms folded, amidst the crater he created upon falling on the ground. Next to whom on the ground was Ella, with teary eyes and a smile on her face and a lot of admiration, looking at Robert.

In the next moment, a little black circle opened next to Robert, out of which Eric jumped down. "That worked!" said Robert without shifting his glance from the girl or breaking his posture. "Of course it would" replied Eric as he stood up leisurely playing with a knife. Anna knew that knife, it belonged- her thoughts were cut off by Eric's evil smile as he said "Bingo! But the show has just begun!"
