Introduction To The World

During ancient times, scholars found a way to bring out the divine energy of our realm and use it to bring forth supernatural phenomena. Soon, it was widespread and now everyone knew how to use the art to bring forth the power of their realm, as the scholars called it.

By the repeated use of power, the divine energy settled onto the third generation that came. They were born with abilities, unique to each bloodline and themselves. They could naturally bring out the energy from the next three realms and as generations passed by, people no longer were bounded by three realms, but could further go up-to-the tenth realm. Each realm was special in itself and gave special abilities to its user.

Each realm as said before was special, for each of it gave special, unique powers to its user, apart from the one that is given through a bloodline. The realm which one can connect to depends upon the users' bloodline, as the divine energy that flows in their veins depended upon the one which their ancestors practised but as times passed, different realms emerged onto different people and then people who could control more than one realm started to emerge. With this, people were no longer divided by the realm they could use, but rather from the unique ability that they were bestowed upon due to the interlinking of the realm.

While bloodlines still existed, they were mostly known for the special abilities they passed down the generations, which didn't go through much deviation as time passed, mostly because of major nobles choosing their partner in such a way that their coming generation would have abilities that would be stronger than their elders.

With the emergence of abilities, the society was no longer ruled by those who belonged to a bloodline and was broken into countless sects, until the first world war broke out. Sects joined hands and decided to take over others, in their hunger for land and power. To fight against these sects, other sects joined their forces into a larger sect, such large sects joined together to form the Allied Forces to fend off the invasion from the joined alliance of the sects, which later called themselves the Empire.

This Empire was lead by the Empress Of True Blood, a fearsome master of tactics. Later the alliance of the Allied Forces dissolved due to a civil war that broke out between the two major sects of the alliance. This was when the Federation was formed. Federation is a body of five great sects that joined hands together to create one of the most thriving society out of all the others. The Allies distributed their powers into three great sects and were taken as an example throughout the world for their perfect balance of powers while the empire was broken into countless sects, with a single one taking command of them.

In the ancient era, people who could bring forth the powers of the realm were honed as masters and were the ones in command of everything. As time passed, in the coming generations, more and more people were born with abilities, they created the major bloodlines of the world.

These bloodlines were extremely respected, and as the time came this became a ritual. Almost an unsaid rule, to never offend one of a bloodline. As time went by to modern society, everyone was born with abilities but segregation ran deep into this society. People of bloodlines were honed as 'superior' to those who weren't but there was another unspoken rule in this world. Survival of the fittest. The strong were followed by the weak and respected by the masses, no matter what bloodline they belonged too.

Countless wars took place all around the world for various things like resources, territory or ideals. So, the countries needed warriors who can fight for them. To hone such warriors, special academies were created for bright students. Out of them, the most prestigious was the Divine Gate Academy.

A high school in the land owned by The Order Of The True Sky where people from all over the five clans came to study. Its popularity was due to several facts. The first being the teachers that taught there were experience war heroes, famous for their deeds in the wars. The second was their reach into the world and their resources which were technically unlimited for talented youngsters and the third being that this place gave them direct contact with all of the five clans.

This high school is where our protagonist, Eric Sterling goes to, thanks to his luck. Here he takes on a lot of problems, he is always looked down on by the teachers and the students and never does well with his studies or grades and skips out on school quite regularly. He is not only hated for being a pathetic commoner in a school filled with the noble, but also for being weak and pathetic when it comes to academics. Here, he finds the way to his true destiny….

The Federation:

The Federation is a body of the five clans of the north which control the five divine sources. They are a big body know for their fine talents and the ones to be known for the origins of the realms. They are at a war with the Allies of the south for several years.

The Allies:

The Allies are a body of the three sects of the south which control three divine sources. They are a body known for their technological advancements and their use of divine energy. They are also very popular for the distribution of powers amongst the three clans in a way that there is no imbalance between them. They are at war with the Federation from several years for reason not known to the common man.

The Empire:

The empire of the west is the body made up of more than 300 sects which all work under the command of the Empress. The empire is known for its excellent leadership and soldiers. They only control a single divine source and their soldiers lack behind every other when it comes to talent but are known to be ferocious. They take up for their low talent by their diversity. The Empress is also known to be an excellent strategist and has fended off attacks by the Federation and the Allies several time in the past.
