12 Team Sunshine
"Before moving on to the topic, I want to know everyone's current level of strength. My strength is around 250 Kg." Gin said.
Both Hammer and Yirene are surprised by Gin's words, as they know their friend's strength is not this high a few days before.
'What happened to Gin in these few days?' Both of them thought but was also happy Gin's strength improved.
"350 Kg," Hammer said.
"450 Kg!" Yirene said.
"210 Kg," Astro answered, ashamed that he's the weakest of them all.
"Good! With our current level of strength, it won't be a problem for us to complete some ordinary missions." Gin proclaimed and rubbed his communication bracelet.
As soon as he touched the communication bracelet, a holographic portrait manifested before them.
With just one look, everyone could tell it's the website of the Ranker Division. Once Gin clicked the 'mission' section, various missions came into their view.
"All missions displayed before you guys are the ones we can choose with our current level of authorization."
"I separated the missions into different kinds for our convenience - Escort type, Protection Type, Bounty Hunting, and Beast Hunting." Gin explained.
"In our case, we are young and inexperienced so we should go for Escort or Beast Hunting type of missions as the other two types may pose unknown dangers." Gin suggested.
"What're your opinion guys?"
"Why do you say the other two types of missions hold unknown dangers?" Hammer sought.
"Let's take protection type missions for example, in that you may be requested to protect the person from other's harm."
"Your strength is around the 6-star level of strength, but you can't be certain that the attacker will be below Advanced Ranker."
"Likewise, in bounty hunting mission we have to hunt someone wanted by Ranker division. He may be a killer, assassin, robber, with immense experience in combat; To escape, they won't hesitate in the slightest to kill us." Gin explained.
After some discussion, four of them decided on picking an escort type mission which poses a minimum risk.
After half an hour of search, they chose the mission which is best suited for them.
Mission No. 12765A
Mission Description: The Ranker team needs to travel with researchers into the outskirts of Silver Mist forest and guard them against wild beasts which may hinder their work.
Required Strength: At least one 6-star Ranker has to be present in the Ranker team.
Time: 1 week
"Ok then, everything is set. Hammer, Yirene, you guys have to make a trip to nearby Ranker Division and raise your number of stars according to your strength."
"Once you both achieve that, we can officially form the Ranker team and set off on our mission." Gin told.
Hammer and Yirene nodded their heads, affirming they understood. Because only when their team possesses a 6-star ranker, they can obtain approval from the ranker division to take the mission since that was the requirement.
After some heated quarrel, they decided to name the team as Sunshine which symbolizes happiness, positivity, and hope.
Gin sent a request to everyone's ID for officially forming a team. Only when everyone accepts the request using their Ranker Identity, the ranker division will acknowledge the team, which everyone already did.
And at last, Team Sunshine has been formally established with their members being Gin(Cap), Yirene(Vice-cap), Astro, and Hammer.
"Team Sunshine!" noise resounded in the private cabin.
For successfully forming the team, four of them feasted on with light drinks and foods. After an hour, everyone left the Bamboo Garden.
Yirene and Hammer have to make a trip to Ranker Divison, while Gin and Astro proceeded to their home.
Unlike Hammer who will surely visit Ranker Divison, Gin wonders whether Yirene will make a trip as she can easily get a 'raise in rank' certificate from her home if she wants.
'Whatever...I will go home and concentrate on improving my strength which is my topmost concern.' Gin thought.
After reaching home, Gin began to research more about the mission which Team Sunshine is going to take tomorrow.
As a captain of the team, he has to consider every possible situation they may face in the mission.
The mission was given by a small pharmaceutical company that researches on various medicinal plants and potions.
Gin has to analyze what type of wild beast they may encounter in the Darkwood Wildlands, their weakness and how to defend against them.
Even though the researchers are only from a small company, there's a chance that someone may covert their works. So, he has to be prepared for all sorts of circumstances they may encounter.
Around 9 PM, Gin got the message from Yirene followed by Hammer stating that both of them promoted their Rank to 6-star Ranker.
As expected, when he opened the website of the Ranker Division and in the team section, both of their ranks changed to 6-star.
Gin selected the mission that everyone decided on and sent the request to Ranker Division that 'Team Sunshine' is willing to undertake this mission.
After a few mins, he got a reply from Ranker Division that they sent the team details to the patron and can expect the answer within twenty-four hours.
Even though it's stated as twenty-four hours, once the client confirms they will soon receive a response. Until then, he can only wait.
Instead of being idle, he once again began to research various types of wild beasts present in Darkwood wildlands.
Even after 2 some hours, Gin didn't receive any reply. He knows he can only expect the reply tomorrow as its already late.

Next day,
Gin stood gasping for breath in his training room as he was continuously practicing for almost 3 hours from 6 in the morning.
His entire body ached, but the energy gushing through his muscles, bones and every cell in his body gave him a sense of accomplishment.
He could feel his strength rising as the energy flowing through his body constantly improving his physique.
Boom!

A number popped up on the machine as soon as he punched.
It was a staggering amount! Gin couldn't even believe and was terrified by his own rate of improvement.
Previously, his strength was around 260 Kg but just after 3 hours of practice, it increased by another 20 Kg. He knows it's all thanks to the symbol on his chest and 'Empyrean Chaos scripture', he got by luck.
Moreover, after receiving his own Ranker ID, Gin was able to access the information's which are concealed from ordinary people's eyes.
Using that, he read some information like Supreme Rankers and also a higher stage above that.
Due to his Rank being low, he can only view information related to the Supreme Ranker stage and everything beyond that is restricted by Ranker Division.
There's this one report regarding the Supreme Ranker stage that caught Gin's eyes, stating: "Supreme Ranker stage is the origination of one's Martial way."
That person also explained that only when an individual reaches the Supreme Ranker stage, he/she is qualified to call themselves as Practitioners of Martial way.
Interestingly, there also another name for the Supreme Ranker Stage known as the 'Physique Enrichment' Stage.
"Fascinating! Looks like I was ignorant before not knowing how vast the world is." Gin muttered with an exciting look.
'A frog lives in well can't know the vast sea. Since I know it now, I won't be like this in the future.' Gin reflected.
There's nothing wrong in being ignorant but knowing you are ignorant and doing nothing is a sin.
