33 Entering the Arena

"Master Juvan? Come, take a seat!" The man at the registration desk stood up and respectfully called, as soon as he saw Juvan.

"No need, I came here to register this boy who wants to join the arena fight," Juvan said.

"Oh!" The man at the registration desk was surprised a little as he knows the status of Master Juvan.

He curiously looked at Gin, whose face was masked. Wasting no time, the man followed the procedure for registration.

"Name?" The man asked while Gin hesitated a little whether to use his real name or not.

"You don't have to tell your real name just any nickname is fine" Juvan added.

"You can register my name as 'Ray'," Gin said.

"Place your hand on this orb," The man took out a silver-white orb and said.

Gin placed his hands on the orb and visualized four hidden seals as Dean Alfin said. Thanks to the ring given by Dean, no abnormalities were detected by the orb.

"4th level of Physique Enrichment stage," The man noted Gin's strength.

"Punch at the machine. Your strength will help us in matching you with the right opponent so use your full strength."

Gin stepped before the machine and punched with his full strength without holding anything back.

"9023kg"

"Mr. Ray, this is your ID." The man filled out the information and gave a small card while Gin accepted it.

"Let's go. The registration part is done, you can use the Id to enter the arena anytime you want. Once you go inside someone will fill you in the details." Juvan said.

--

Two minutes later, Gin, Baste and Juvan stood before a large steel gate located on the first floor.

"Once you cross the gate, you are on your own." Juvan said and murmured, 'I don't know what senior Alfin is thinking.'

"Note down my contact number, if you face any problems inside don't hesitate to call me." Juvan gave his number.

"Gin, be safe and come back soon." Baste said with fake watery eyes.

Hearing these two people's words, Gin had a weird feeling as if they are sending him on a path of no return.

'Have some faith you lot' Gin thought and entered the gate by showing the Id to the man guarding it.

As soon as he entered the gate, a fat young man hurried towards Gin and introduced himself. "Esteemed warrior, I am Delgo, one of the helpers inside the arena."

Gin nodded and handed his ID. With a single look, Delgo knows Gin is new to the arena.

"Esteemed warrior, your resting chamber is located on the 14th floor, please follow me." Delgo guided Gin to his allocated room.

"Delgo, tell me about the battle born arena." Gin asked, following him.

"Yes, the history of the Battleborn arena dates back to 1000 years and was built by one of the strongest warriors at that time."

"More than 1,00,000 peoples visit every day to watch the breathtaking battles that take place here. "Apart from spectators, countless warriors visit here to participate in the battles."

"Battleborn Arena is also quite generous, rewarding the warriors who win the matches."

"How many fighters are in Master tower?" Gin asked.

"There are more than 12,000 warriors present in the master tower, many of them are quite strong," Delgo replied.

"How many days do you think it will take for one to achieve 50 victories?" Gin asked.

Delgo hesitated a little and replied, "I can't say for sure as everything is based on one's strength!"

"But, I heard 12 years ago a person came to the arena and achieved 50 victories in 50 days straight without losing a single match. Till now, no was able to break that person's record."

Gin was surprised as he also knows a person can only engage in a single battle per day, in the battle born arena.

Soon, Gin reached his resting chamber under Delgo's guidance. The resting chamber looked quite simple with a small bed, large screen, restroom and a large spacious area to practice.

"Mr. Ray, you don't have to worry about the daily meals as it is the arena's responsibility; You just have to mention your choice of food."

"You can view your battle schedule and other related things on the screen. If you need anything please call me, I will take my leave."

"Have a good rest, Mr. Ray." Delgo introduced everything to him and left.

Gin turned on the screen and it showed the current battle taking place in the arena.

After some research Gin grasped the uses of the screen. Using the screen, Gin can view the battles, his schedules, opponent's information and even some of the old battles for reference but one needs to pay for that.

He also saw the list of current combatants residing in the arena and their strength. When he checked his schedules, it was blank; it's understandable as he just arrived here.

'My strength has reached 9000Kg mark, soon I will be able to find my third hidden seal.' Gin thought.

Wasting no time, Gin began his practice. He practiced his Physique stance for an hour and began to train his martial skills.

His skill 'Fist of Destruction' needs his fist to be fast and strong - A single punch dealing 10 blows. Right now, Gin's punch can only bring out two blows.

Meanwhile, his movement technique - 'Ray of the morning sun' has some progress. It was simple compared to his fist skill.

After one reaches the peak, one's speed will be akin to that of morning ray; Onlookers will only notice a golden flash

Around evening, Gin noticed his schedule for the first battle has been updated – Next day morning, 10 AM.

His opponent is named Hank who has participated in ten battles with 6 victory, 3 loss, and 1 draw. His strength has reached the Physique Enrichment stage 4th level.

His opponent is specialized in defensive techniques while also fast and nimble at the same time.

After checking out the details, Gin turned off the screen and stepped out of his resting chamber to watch the battles currently ongoing in the arena.

The battles in the arena weren't that heated like before so after 1 hour Gin returned to his room and ordered Delgo to bring some food.

--

Just a few minutes after he finished his meal, Gin received a call from Hammer.

"Gin buddy, how's it going?" Hammer's asked.

"I am doing ok, what about you?"

"Good! Where are you? Are you in the academy?" Hammer asked.

"No, I am in a combat arena located in the outskirts of the Whitestar region." Gin replied.

"Bro, what are you doing there?! That's a dangerous place for our level; I thought you would be in the academy, training!"

"You know about the battleborn arena?"

"Of course, I know about that place; I once visited the arena with my dad. Why did you even go there?" Hammer's distress voice came from the other side.

"I came here for training!"

"Enough about that, how's the life in Skyfire academy?" Gin asked.

"Bro, you won't believe it, the Skyfire academy is a paradise for martial practitioners like us," Hammer sighed, "Only after joining I understood, why everyone wants to join the Skyfire academy."

"Really?" Gin was skeptical about Hammer's words.

"Yes, we have several classes daily like combat class, Physique training class, tactics class and there's even class about magical beasts and how to fight them."

"Moreover, there's a combat assessment every day which helps one to train on what they learn."

"If you perform well in combat assessment, you will get a Rank-1 or Rank-2 training resources to improve yourself."

"Yesterday, I got a Rank-2 fruit which raised my physique to a new level. If only you were here, I miss you, bro" Hammer explained and sighed.

"Shut it, we are not kids. What level are you in now?" Gin asked.

"I have already discovered 'three' hidden seals!" Hammer boasted.

Hammer's improvement is scary since it's only been a few days since he advanced to the Physique Enrichment stage.

"Bro, what level have you reached? I read in books that discovering physique seal is ten times more difficult." Hammer asked in a low voice.

After reading some of the books in the academy, Hammer already knows about the risk of physique cultivation; It was stated, none of the physique cultivators have ever broken through the 'seal opening stage', till now.

"Don't worry, I already discovered two of my physique seals." Gin said. "How's Astro?"

"Don't ask about him that guy's luck is damn good! A senior instructor of the academy accepted him as a personal student." Hammer spoke.

"What?"

"Yes, his rate of improvement is scary after he got the breathing technique of Madman Eternus."

"Hammer, tell Astro that he shouldn't speak anything about the cave or the breathing technique of Madman Eternus."

"Even to the professor, who took him in as a personal student." Gin solemnly spoke.

"I got it! And, be careful inside the arena. We will meet once you come out."

"Sure, take care."
