*Buzz*

A faint white glow enveloped Sieg's whole body, although his vision was blurred he can feel that his body is traveling at an inhuman speed that he somewhat feeling a bit dizzy, after some time of this experience he opened his eyes to see that he's in the middle of the Blight Town.

"That Return Talisman was certainly a big help." He thought.

After he finished talking with the turtle attendant, he sat down to recover a bit and then pinched the talisman to help him arrive to the town quicker. His flight took no longer than five minutes until he finally arrived here. Comparing this to the time it took him to arrive at the location where he planted the Seed of Hope is very embarrassing.

Sieg had energy to spare so he walked towards the Rewarding Station to claim the promised rewards, if his guess was right, the turtle attendant should already be there, in fact he even guessed that the attendant arrived earlier that him already.

Sieg wasn't in much of a hurry so he took time to relish the appearance of the town. In total honesty, the town looked much pleasing to his eyes by now. During his first day here, he had always kept his guard up since he didn't knew what type of 'things' he was dealing with here, but as he read those jade slips that Carmen gave him with the help of Liam and having a conversation with the turtle attendant, he could more or less lower his guard whenever he's here.

"Hmm?" Sieg frowned as he saw something different from his peripheral vision. He turned his head around and saw what looked like a walking body of water roaming around with gaze full of hostility inside the town.

Of course this is another Human Soul Form, and it is also a disciple from the sect. Sieg smiled wryly as he saw the man's expression, for whatever reason, he could imagine himself wearing the same type of face upon arriving here, if not even fiercer. He slight shook his head and decided to carry on with his trip.

He arrived to the Rewarding Station shortly, he gently pushed the huge iron door which made some whining sounds and the interior of the place gradually appeared. A sense of familiarity hit Sieg as he looked at this place, but this wasn't his goal so he decided to move on and proceed to the attendant's table to earn his rewards.

"Welcome back Young Sir, here for the rewards I presume?" The attendant gently inquired at him.

Sieg nodded his head and pulled a paper which contained the mission's informations within and handed it over to the turtle attendant. Upon doing touching that attendant's hand the paper emitted a faint light which then scattered everywhere like a brilliant fireworks, it illuminated the whole room with lively colors and wonderful atmosphere. Sieg was visibly shocked by the sight and couldn't help but smile a bit as he saw this, he thought 'Well, that wasn't necessary at all but oh well.'

Then the attendant opened his left palm and suddenly all of the fireworks that scattered everywhere converged into his palm, together they form a pill which was looked like the purest form of a pearl, it has a mysterious insignia at the middle and was shimmering with blue light.

"This is…?" Sieg asked in confusion.

"This is the incomplete inheritance Young Sir, for now this won't be of much use but it still contains some knowledge of the whole inheritance itself. Young Sir could meditate using this to know more." The attendant smiled and passed the blue pearl to Sieg.

The pearl was cold to the touch, despite it's appearance it actually weighs like a boulder, Sieg was shocked as he guessed that this pearl might weigh at least fifty kilograms. He didn't had much time to fully admire the pearl since the attendant spoke to him again.

"As for the Enhancement, Young Sir could choose between Self-Enhancement, Weapon Enhancement, Talisman Enhancement or Vessel Enhancement. Young Sir could only choose one." The attendant politely said. This made Sieg think for a bit, eventually he raised his head and said:

"I'll go with Self-Enhancement."

"Very well, place your palm in my hands." The attendant opened his palm and waited Sieg to hold it. Sieg placed his palm to the attendant, then he placed another hand on top of Sieg's palm and murmured some inaudible incantations. Light flashed around them, Sieg involuntarily closed his eyes as he felt a strange surge of strength coursing through his body, the feeling was very refreshing, warm like a lover's embrace.

Sieg followed the circulation of the energy on his body using his consciousness, as he did so, he found out that not only he was getting stronger but some of the injuries, which he was not aware of, were healing in an incredible speed. He inwardly exclaimed as he saw this injuries since some of them were really fatal, good thing that they were healing now. The process took half an hour to finally finish, Sieg almost wanted to moan in pleasure but managed to keep it down, he never felt this comfortable for a very long time.

"The rewarding process is now complete, Young Sir could now view the second part of the mission." The attendant spoke here and a piece of paper appeared in front of Sieg, who silently grabbed it and checked it's contents.

<Mission Part 2: Execute the Witch Helga and her Sisters>

Rank: Doom Lair, 15 Wandering Souls and 3 Vengeful Souls

Rewards: 2 Enhancement Chance, Talismans, and Light source

Time Limit: 3 months

'Eh? Three months?' Sieg was puzzled, he looked at his mental map and saw the location of Lair, which only raised his confusion 'The place isn't that far from here, I think I'll arrive there in just two weeks, so what's with the time limit?'

Seeing his confused face, the attendant chuckled and said: "Young Sir shouldn't underestimate Witch Helga."

Sieg raised his head and looked at the mysterious expression on the attendant's face, suddenly he had a slightly ominous premonition and he recalled his words. A flash of understanding and gloom appeared in his face, he nodded his head and walked out of the Rewarding Station.

He opened the door to his temporary home and sat down to think a bit. He opened his pocket space and took out the blue pearl which was his reward from the mission. He carefully studied since he needed time to prepare for his mission, thankfully the time limit won't start unless he step outside of the town.

"Hmm?" A confused expression once again surfaced in his face, he examined the blue pearl even more carefully this time around and found out something. "Inscription? Why is there an inscription in this thing?" He exclaimed a bit.

Although Sieg isn't an official Inscriber yet, he formed a decent knowledgable when it come to inscriptions thanks to Gin, Old Pete and the Inscription Lands, he is familiar with this sign, and this particular sign is a Lotus Inscription which could only be applied by a real deal Inscriptionist.

[A/N: Inscriber and Inscriptionist are two different entities, the latter is of a higher rank than the former.]

A Lotus Inscription is a combination of multiple inscription signs, but from what Sieg could tell, this inscription is still incomplete, either because it is damaged or because it was separated by the it's creator. Nonetheless, this still greatly elated Sieg's mood, now he was very eager to see just what type of inheritance this is.

He placed the blue pearl few inches away from him, he also sat down and closed his eyes aiming to meditate for the contents of this pearl.

After a minute passed, a buzzing sound emerged from the blue pearl and it slowly levitated in the air, it spun, slowly at first going faster as time passed, then after a few more minutes, a weird thread appeared from the blue pearl which flew across Sieg's forehead.

He visibly shook briefly but still maintain his meditative pose. Time passed, one hour, two hours, three, six hours, until finally it took him a total of eight hours before he finally opened his eyes.

Upon the opening of his eyes, his body levitated few inches above the floor, then a cold and uncaring air permeated inside the room, white mist surrounded Sieg which also shared the same sentiment as the current atmosphere. These white mist were formed using spiritual energies and it formed a strange seed like appearance which fully enveloped Sieg within. This scenario went for two hours before it finally dissipated and Sieg's body descended into his original place and the cold and uncaring air disappeared.

Sieg's eyes were bright like torches amidst the dark, he chuckled and stood up to pat the frozen casing in his body which were formed during the process of his meditation, he took the blue pearl and inserted it back to his pocket space and his face formed ad weird smile.

"Fury of the Ice Lotus huh?"

[A/N: What up Sisters!? Broke and sick as fuck author here. LOL. Okay I'm sorry, I know I've been away for quite sometime, I'm still at the hospital right now, slightly crying because of multiple unluckiness in my life that I personally asked for but wasn't aware. I'm super close to fully recovering, I estimate another week would be enough for me to get through this.

What's even more sad is that my little sister, which is 4 years old, formatted my tab when she said she wanted to play a game. That means every single one, and I MEAN EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. of my chapters, stockpile included, GONE. Unfortunately, I'm an idiot and didn't uploaded on drafts or saved it somewhere else.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I hate my fucking life. XD

Writing this novel is really testing me in so many ways. Well, that just means I have to write again right? Just please be patient with me, I'll be back with regular upload mmkay? Love you.]
