1 Stealthy Night

On the night of New Year eve, while all the denizens were celebrating with their families at their homes, young guys having fun with their girlfriends at pubs. I'm here to celebrate my biggest wish of robbing from the World bank.

A vague figure of a man can be seen standing with a cap on the terrace of the largest building 5 blocks away from the Headquarters of the world bank.

The World bank occupies a huge building with 20 floors, where more than 3000 people work around the clock to make deals with all the richest people and complete government transactions.

Only on the new year eve it is closed, there are only 30 guarding staff with one on each floor, 4 at the entrance, 4 around the building and 2 in the vault.

It is very less when compared to the usual days where there are more than 100 guards all around the day where every staff member's in's and out's are under scrutiny. They also have more than 10 guards lurking in the streets dressed as common working class people nearby the world bank building.

Today is the only day where all the working staff is given holiday and only 30 guards are left.

Long Chen has lurked in world bank building for the past 3 years starting as a cleaner, floor supervisor and became an assistant building manager who manages more than 50 cleaners. He has great management abilities which helped him secure the position very fast when compared to other employees.

He has done lots of background work and moved lots of pieces to remove the potential candidates to secure this position.

During the past three years in order to get to the position of the assistant manager of the building apart from working with great potential and displaying skills he had gone through numerous trails and errors and put the right pieces at the right time i.e robbed the important company related files or employee items and put them into other supervisors or staff's bags/purses.

Once it was found by the guards they would be trashed and thrown out of the office.

Assistant manager gets the access to most of the building where he had to get the locks from every floor from his manager every time when a work needs to be done. There are a lot of security checks in the building when every time a floor needs to be accessed.

I have successfully made duplicates of all the floor keys and secured them on the terrace of the world bank building. Lurking in the building made him understand all the floors and security surveillance cameras and their location. Every second every minute of security functions and building layout were like the back of his hand.

He took out a crossbow from the ground and aimed at the building two blocks after the world bank and fired it. The bow was attached with a thin and strong wire which is capable of carrying a load of more than 200 kg.

The arrow crossed the world bank building and started changing the angle because of the airflow and got back and stuck in between a rod and bricks on the other side of the terrace. After getting the grip and tying the other end to the rod behind him, he used a small cyclic pulley wheel with an inbuilt motor to slide slowly.

He also carried another 2 wires along with him. One was released while he was sliding, and the other was being carried. After getting on the building he has thrown the wire he was carrying over the top of the overhead tank and tied the end of the wire together with the first wire which is attached to an arrow.

He then removed the arrow and tied the extra wire to the arrow and aimed at the building 2 blocks away and fired it. It got fixed to the overhead tank of that building as its height is a bit lower than the world bank building. He took the loose end and tied it to the rod. He glanced at everything with a smile as the first part of his plan was completed.

He took the duplicate keys and started going down. The guard on the 20th floor was standing near the elevator and looking out at the fireworks. Long Chen was donned in a black suit so he was barely visible in the dark.

Only the places with the guards and near the cameras are bright. The fire sensor makes a small beep sound for every 3 minutes so he calculated the time and took out a small gun which was attached with a silencer and fired it at the camera lens. The bullet was a white marble made of white gas, it just masks the camera for 3 seconds.

He made his way to the fire exit and stopped till time for the beep sound and shot the marble. An alarm will ring once the fire exit door is opened so after turning off the fire alarm remotely as it was not monitored by guards he took the fire escape stairs to go to the 10th floor where the vault is located.

On the 10th floor there were 3 guards, one near the elevator and two near the vault. After getting on the 10th floor he was very careful not to make a single mistake as this is the floor which is highly monitored through cameras.
