2 Reborn
After Samael accepted himself and his past, the void started pulsing wildly. Soon his body started to crumble into dust, and once again darkness took him.

After a while, he regained his consciousness, but this time he was formless. He couldn't feel his body anymore, and all he knows is that he is floating. The place was darker, but somehow it felt like home.
While floating in the deep, dark abyss, he felt a pull, as if something were calling out to him. He tried to feel it slowly, but without success. Samael doesn't know for how long he did it, but it felt like centuries passed and he barely managed to touch it. Nonetheless, he kept on trying.
Soon he felt that his attempts were futile; he felt like giving up, but in the end he couldn't. He tried once more, twice, and thrice. Every time he tried, it felt like he spent eons; he only had himself. In times where he felt like giving up, Samael would meditate to calm himself.
After trying again, he felt something snap. Soon he heard a voice: it was unintelligible and barely recognisable, but for him, he could understand it perfectly. The void started pulsing, and the scene rapidly changed.
From the dark and endless void, a sudden light erupted; this light was so bright that Samael couldn't take his eye off of it. The void chose him, and he accepted; in return, it gave him a glimpse of the secret of the void. It was beautiful and mesmerizing, even if it was just a peek.
After taking a glance at it, Samael felt stronger and sharper. His soul was strengthened! Such a thing was something only gods could do! Samael's thoughts were interrupted when the void talked to him once more. It asked him if he was willing to accept the burden of the never-ending abyss. Samael smiled, and with a newfound purpose, he accepted.
After accepting, the void hummed and pulsed as if rejoicing at the birth of another kin. Samael then felt his body crumbling, and his vision faded.

Samael woke up again, and he was back at the same place, floating, but this time he had a body. The void greeted him again, and for some reason he could hear it better. The void then informed him that the succession would begin.
Samael braced himself, and vast knowledge flooded his head; it felt like something was hammering it, and it felt very excruciating. Nonetheless, he managed to survive the succession. Samael found new memories he never had before, and he summoned the so-called "system."

"I accept," Samael said. After accepting the notification, another system pop-up appeared.

"What's a soul power?" Samael asked in a curious tone.

"What the?! What do you mean, 836198368269? I've only lived for 18 years before!" Samael said so in a surprised manner. How could he not be surprised after finding out his soul was that old?
<The host spent multiple eons wandering and trying to connect with the Void; therefore, the host's soul experienced massive changes over time. Not only that, but the host's soul also strengthened at an alarming pace due to its being exposed to the void.>
"So that's the reason? So what felt like eons before was actually eons of trying.." Samael was dumbfounded by this sudden realization. He didn't count how long he tried, but he knew it was long—but not this long!
<The host soul power is currently unrankable. Due to the age and the soul's absorbing the void essence, the power of the soul is massively stronger than everyone else's.>

Samael was not sure whether having such a strong soul was good or bad, but right now he couldn't care less. The system mentioned creating a new body, and that means he was about to be reborn!

After the system message, Samael was engulfed by darkness again.

Samael opened his eyes, and he slowly adjusted to the light. He carefully observed where he was, and to his surprise, he wasn't back at Titan; instead, he was in a white room.

Samael was pleasantly surprised to hear this. It seems like, in accepting the burden, he also became of great importance to the Void. He tried to explore his memories and found out about the stat system.

After checking the system for a while, he focused his attention on the glowing cubes in the middle of the room. The cubes floated in midair and exuded a black but glowing light.
He approached it, and the cubes started sucking at his body. After a while, the suction ended and the room was empty. After a while, his system notified him again.
