26 Chapter 26: Unexpected encounter
Lucius turned around when he heard that voice, he widened his eyes when he saw the owner of the voice.
"Why are you here?" Lucius asked as she spotted a girl behind him.
A young girl was standing behind him, near the gate of the training grounds. She was a few cm away from him. Lucius got a little uncomfortable when the girl got close to her.
However, it didn't last for long, the young girl put a hand on her face then, she pulled her face. The moment she pulled her face, a facemask came out from her face.
Her real face was revealed, Lucius was shocked to see her real face
"Zoe! Why are you wearing a facemask? Lucius exclaimed, he sounded very surprised.
"I don't want anyone to know my identity because it's annoying," Zoe replied, as she put the mask back on after confirming no one saw her apart from Lucius.
Lucius also looked behind her but didn't see anyone, unlike Lucius' exception, Zoe was alone this time.
"But what are you doing here?" Lucius asked respectfully.
He treated her with respect, reciprocating her respectful behavior towards him. It was she who prevented Luca from getting into a fight with Lucius. Hearing this, Zoe immediately replied.
"Can't you guess why I have come here?" Zoe asked Lucius calmly.
"Of course, I know why you came here, the reason couldn't be more obvious," Lucius said to her.
Zoe smiled when she heard that,
"So shall we go to your house now?" Zoe asked, her voice carrying happiness.
"My house but haven't you come here for training? You were supposed to come to my house tomorrow" Lucius said, his voice carrying frustration.
When Zoe heard that, frustration was visible on her face.
"Idiot, I am not here to train in such a place" Zoe immediately replied.
"Then why are you here?" Lucius asked, and he genuinely sounded confused.
"I wanted to talk to you regarding that matter" Zoe exclaimed, her voice carrying seriousness.
When Lucius heard this, he immediately knew why she had come here.
"So, she has come here to talk about the favor that she wanted. I wonder how she even got my location" Lucius muttered under his breath.
A few seconds of thinking later, Lucius shook his head as he stared at Zoe.
"Well, it isn't surprising considering that she found me since as the young mistress of the ice clan, her connection is very big." Lucius thought to himself.
He stared at Zoe directly in her eyes and said.
"Why don't you go and wait in my home? I will be back in like one or two hours. You see my sword is quite damaged so I will give it to a blacksmith to repair it and come back home Lucius said to Zoe as he showed her the damaged sword
When Zoe saw the sword in his hand, he stared at it for a few seconds. She then walked towards the sword and examined it, as she examined it, a frown appeared on her face.
"I don't think this sword can be repaired, it has suffered some serious damage. There are a lot of cracks on the surface of the sword" Zoe exclaimed as she examined the sword.
Lucius shook his head as he sheathed the sword.
"I still want to try, go and wait for the house, I will be back in an hour or two," Lucius replied,
Zoe nodded his head when she heard this, she decided something.
"I will also accompany you to a blacksmith, you can't say no" Zoe said to him, she sounded firm.
Lucius just nodded his head when he heard that. He didn't dare to say no since he knew, refusing would have dire consequences when he heard the firmness in her voice.
"Follow me, I know a good blacksmith shop here," Lucius said to Zoe as he began to walk in a certain direction
Zoe just nodded her head in response and began to follow Lucius as he walked in a certain direction.
A few minutes passed away like this in the blink of an eye.
Lucius stopped walking when he spotted a building not far away from them. The building was fairly big, it was made up of brown bricks, and there was glass in the area. Inside the glass, there were dozens of weapons only displayed including swords, axes, spears, shields, and armor.
Lucius widened in disbelief when he saw the price of each of the items. Each of the items on display was above 10000 gold coins.
Seeing Lucius' disbelief, Zoe who was behind him explained the reason behind their price.
"The items that are in display are D-grade items, their grade is just below the highest grade weapons that you will find in the kingdom so it's natural that they are expensive" Zoe explained to Lucius.
The weapons were also divided into grades just like Divinity. The grades of weapons range from E to SSS grade.
Lucius nodded his head when he heard that.
"Let's go inside," Lucius said to Zoe.
Zoe nodded, and then both Lucius and Zoe began to walk toward the entrance. They reached the door and opened it up. They walked towards the door and opened it up.
The moment they stepped into the room, they were greeted by dozens of weapons that were placed throughout the shop. The floors of the room were black and the walls were white.
Lucius looked to his left and saw that there was a table full of swords. There are dozens of such tables with different kinds of weapons.
There was a furnace in front of him that was turned off. On the left side of the furnace, there was a strong anvil but there wasn't anyone inside, this caused Lucius to frown.
"Is anyone here!" Lucius shouted.
No one replied to him for the next few seconds, silence remained throughout the place for the next few seconds. However, the silence didn't last for long; it was soon broken by a voice.
"Who is there!?" A voice resounded through his ears.
When Lucius heard the voice, he looked around to detect where the sound was coming from. He soon spotted a door a few cm away from the furnace.
"The voice was coming from there," Zoe said as she pointed her finger toward a door.
Lucius turned his attention to the door that Zoe was pointing her finger to. Lucius saw the door slowly open up, a few seconds later, the door had completely opened.
A young man wearing a white robe walked out, the man had a beautiful face, he was around 5 feet 6 inches tall, he was quite short than Lucius but he was fairly tall. He was wearing a Divine badge.
"He is probably a Divine Creator" Lucius muttered under his breath as he looked at his badge.
The young man walked towards the two of them with no expression on his face whatsoever. When he was a few cm away from them, he stopped in front of them.
"Why have you two come to the shop?" The young man asked, he sounded a little bit annoyed.
Hearing the annoyance in his voice, Lucius frowned slightly but he still told him the reason behind his visit.
"I am here to get this sword repaired," Lucius said to him as he showed him the sword which was broken in half.
"Leave, we don't repair anything here anymore." The young man replied he sounded quite annoyed
Lucius frowned when he heard the annoyance of the young man.
"Ok, we will leave, I will just go to a different blacksmith then," Lucius said as he turned around and prepared to leave.
Just as he was about to leave, 6 individuals walked into the shop, they had weapons in their hands such as swords, spears, and axes. A powerful voice resounded through the entire place.
"Hey Lincoln, tell us the whereabouts of that old man or be prepared to die" The man with the strongest aura shouted.
A bandit looked at Lucius then he directed killing intent towards him.
"You two leave in the next minute or be prepared to face the consequences" A bandit looked at him as he released the killing intent.
"Let's leave," Zoe said to him.
Lucius didn't say anything and kept standing there.
The bandits ignored him after giving him a warning and walked towards the young man, when the young man saw them, his face turned pale. The man with the strongest aura grabbed the collars of the young man.
As Lucius was standing there and watching the commotions, the young man shouted.
"You there please help me" The young man pleaded.
Simultaneously a notification flashed in his retina, when Lucius read the notification, he widened his eyes in disbelief as he read the lines of words.
"I will help you," Lucius said as he took the nearest sword.
